Review Ogalo - Crows Nest

Best chicken burgers on the North Shore... way tastier and cheaper (and much shorter wait) than Chargrill Charlie's. Get around the good folk at Ogalo Crows Nest.

Store seemed busy for a Sun. Poor lady looked to running it all by herself. So 5 stars for her but unfortunately 2 star rating for overall quality of food and appearance of store. Ordered Simple Ogalo meal. Waited for about 10mins. As did 3 other Uber eats etc peeps. As mentioned, severely understaffed as lady was cleaning tables, taking orders and even cooking at one stage. One other staff member was o the grill and looked all of 15yrs of age. Floor very greasy and slippery. Finally received meal, and yeah nah. Chicken in burger was way overcooked. Tougher than a $2 steak. Burger just fell apart everywhere. Chips were overcooked and greasy. Threw out the meal. Paid $15 odd to go hungry. Sad experience. Two thumbs down 👎👎

Excellent selection of Portuguese burgers and their spicy chilli sauce. Customer service is superb and portion size is good. Ample parking on the street. An easy solution would be placing a phone order (takeaway) for quick in and out. Must try: Prego sauce, chips with chilli mayo dip and it's famous range of burgers. Veggie options are available too.

Perfect spot for your lunchtime fix and everyone else has the same idea as me 😂 A very popular choice in this area, with lines and a good flow of people in and out. I LOVED the herb lemon sauce on the chicken, which made it super moist and tasty. I enjoyed the ogalo meal with a chicken burger, fries & drink. The fries were nively seasoned and fresh. They also have good salad options, reccommend the tabouli or coleslaw!

They had a TV blaring an infomercial about a massage bed, it was very annoying. Asked the staff to change the channel, turn down the volume or turn it off. They turned the volume up. Burger was ok but having to listen to infomercial the whole time I ate made the whole experience awful.

43min for a burger.. the skinniest bashed up chicken I’d ever seen. Bun uncooked… don’t waste your money! Go across the road for a Vietnamese roll..

Burger decent, had better chips else where even at other ogalos

Hot Ogalo burger is the classic and the best. Beware food in general is quite greasy so if you can't stomach it go elsewhere. Also $11.90 for the burger alone is quite the ask for a distinctly non-gourmet burger (more than Grill'd across the road!).

Best chicken burger in Sydney. The crunch, the spice, the mayo, it’s second to none.

One of the best chicken burgers in Sydney. Just a great little shop here that for what it lacks in modern decor and presentation it certainly does pack a delightful punch in the food it serves, really good. Well done.

The Hot Ogalo burger I ate today is honestly one of the best (if not THE best) chicken burgers I’ve ever had. The reasons being, the chicken breast is marinated in the hot chilli oil and then barbequed on a healthy grill, cooking in the natural flavours without the fat. It’s piping hot and the outside is cooked to a crispy perfection whilst retaining much of the saucy flavours in its marinade. The crisp shredded lettuce adds a refreshing texture to the soft melting cheese and mayo in between fresh sesame seed buns. The size of the burger is huge, in fact, probably too big for me but for those with a big appetite, it is just right. I can picture an Ogalo meal as the perfect hangover cure or something you chow down after a big night out, but don’t let that be the only time you give these a go!
