Review Wagyu House - Croydon

Lots of options to choose from, attentive staff and great value for money ($39.90 pp). Don’t expect high quality meats, but it’s still delicious and a fun experience. On weekends it’s very busy, but plenty of tables so no/little waiting time. Wish they didn’t waste so much plastic using these plastic plates though.

Meat selection is pretty good. Didn't really like the all disposable plastic plates and cups. Staff pretty friendly and will change your coals/grill whenever but it's not really bustling. A bit too quiet. 3.5 stars

This place is amazing. Selection of meats and seafood were so good, marinated meat wasn’t too salty or too sweet so I couldn’t give it to my children. But it was a little bit hassle to come and go between two different buildings to take different food. The price was very reasonable compared with what we can eat there, especially meat lovers!

Delicious 😋 Cook the meat your self over coals. Quite busy when we were there, but no wait at all. Decent salads and plenty of meat. Value for money. Definitely be back! Apologies, my photos don't do it justice. Will update when I return.

Always a good experience! We went over our time and the lady gave us a few more minutes to finish off. The food is great and stafd are friendly (:

There was a great variety food which you can pick from to cook. Didn’t like walking from one building to another to pick up your food. Paid $40 and you eat from a plastic plates. Thanks but no thanks, tried it, not my cup of tea.

Im actually in this buffet right now.. and i hate here already. Its not korean bbq anymore probably change the owner to "Chinese" pay $40 for eating meal in chaos.... meat quality is ned too. Not enough dishes.... all the worker only speak Chinese.. 1star is even too much. Should change name Chinese bbq. And you cant even buy drinks after you order your food. Plz do not ruin korean food culture.

Been here twice, tried almost every food available and haven't been disappointed. The buffet has a good selection of BBQ and other dishes as well, including sushi, noodles, fried rice, soup, etc. The price jumped from 32 to 40 pp since last year, but it's still pretty good value. My only gripe is the 1.5hr time limit, but if you are hungry, you can definitely eat your worth in that time.

My FAVOURITE KBBQ BUFFET!

Wagyu house is So much more affordable then other buffets @ $36.60 per person!

I love how much range this buffet offers - wagyu, chicken, pork, seafood, sushi, salad, hot dishes & fruit

The wagyu is of a great quality and is so juicy when grilled

I love the variety of meats & how they have unlimited salmon sushi up for grabs! Their volcano salmon roll was so bomb as it had addictive chilli mayo on top of it , all the salmon sushi was super fresh & aburi salmon was flame grilled deliciously!

To top it off they even have super FRESH FRUIT on offer for when your done! 10/10

Terrible service. Worst bbq I ever been. Give the wrong order few times. And they ask u write down the whole name of what you order in a piece of paper ( number not accept), no one look after your table, and if u call for help they will say find the one who serve you, I don’t know what you need... I would never go back again! And recommend not to go. The environment is quite dirty as well, especially the COVID 19 situation.
Kay
The marinaded food are too salty and not fresh especially mantis shrimp and prawn . The way how to order is stupid, customer needs to copy the whole name from the menu on a blank paper. Service is terrible though. Will not come again, not recommended.
Amon.saysana
Used to be good! Poor hygiene and very bad service. Quality of meat has changed as well. Overall shit experience. Would not recommend. NOT EVEN KOREAN!
BiteMe.
Bellow average. Party of 5 easy going eaters extremely disappointed. Possibly changed owners. Poor quality meat seafood smelt bad lots of flies inside food display cabinet
Sandy Lin
Honey beef and pork belly are the favs. Also great customer service, a bit slow on a busy day but still friendly. However, the meat fridges and sauce dispensaries are unhygienic so go at your own risk!
Tae Hwang
Terrible customer service

Came on a Friday night after much hype. Grill flaired up with almost every piece of meat. Service was terrible, did not care about the safety of patrons when changing grill plates. Grill had a leak so dripped water all over the table. Left after one of us began developing food poisoning symptoms. Sauces were quite good though.
Quality! It Shouldnt Be That Hard! Love A Wonderful Mouth Full Of Wholesome FOOD!
We came here on a Friday night. It’s a all you can eat buffet for $33 dollars. The food was fresh, lots of options. I was a bit worried trying it after the reviews, but I can’t fault it. The only thing I didn’t like was we had to cook it ourself and it was so busy and loud supper smoky!

Not good as it used to be

My first time went there was pretty good. And second time, Me and my relatives went there on sunday and not that busy. One of the calamari had worms-like. Told the staff but they didnt even care about it. The food was not as good and i lost my appetite since i saw the worms inside that calamari, lucky we didnt eat that part. Horrible experience ever. We just left the place and none of the staff even came but ignored the whole time
Went here 2 years ago very happy alot of choices.
Came back tonight looks like new owners .
Awful experience they don't even refill the meat , even the cuts of meat looked liked cheap cuts.
Won't be coming back again

Freshness on point. Service on point. Food on point. The wait may be long so I encourage people to come before 6 on weekends. Not the best hygiene there but besides that, the food deserves a 5.

First off, on google it said open at 10am and myself and a fried tried calling over 20 times to make a booking as reviews said it would be I’m possible to get a table. No one answered until the 100th call after 12pm. Food started off well but the vibe and service was appalling. Service seated us at a table that wasn’t cleaned, we had to ask to change the grill at the end of our meal. All of a sudden there was a commotion as a customer started a fire. We also wanted to purchase 2 soft drink cans although the minimum was $10 and therefore they forced us to purchase drinks that were double the amount. I gave my experience a 1/5 because the overall experience wasn’t as good as everyone said it was.

Wagyu House can get extremely busy, you could be waiting for almost 30 minutes for a table on a weekend! I can see why though, this all you can eat bbq joint is extremely cheap with great varieties of meat and sides. $30 for 2 hours, why not!

I definitely recommend this place, but maybe try go on a weekday for a better experience to avoid waiting in line. Parking is a pain also, there is limited spaces so you might have to park a few streets away. Since it’s in the middle of a highway it’s easy to miss.
Kirsty Lei
Large variety of meets but long waiting times especially on weekends. The staff aren’t very friendly and lack English skills. Side dishes and vegetables aren’t very fresh and are oily.

This buffet is very worth the money unlike many others. It’s cheap and has a wide range of variety’s you can choose from. I would definitely come here again!
Nozaira Sultana
Extremely comforting value for money Korean bbq. The selection was large and the meat quality is 👌. The place tends to get really busy and the ambience is not the best. Only worth visit because of the amazing food which is also cheap.
Tubby
Was there tonight for dinner based on reviews here recommending this restaurant, cheap eat but poor quality cuts of meat... in a run down environment! Cheap cheap cheap bbq buffet that’s it full stop because there is nothing else good about this place.
Hemi Guahk
Extremely cheap compared to other kbbq buffets and also have a wider variety of meats but not the best when it comes down to the other factors. The restaurant itself is not very clean and the cutlery is not washed properly. The bbq grill is not well made so makes it more difficult to cook the meat. The service isn’t that great as well as it gets very busy and there is not enough staff. There also isn’t a huge range of hot foods. Overall a decent place to go if looking for a cheap alternative otherwise i would rather pay extra to go to another buffet.
Vicnifer's Food Reviews
Thanks for the meal!

Came for the 30 dollar buffet - 2 hour limit.

For 30 dollars you are getting your money worth here. Heaps of variety of meats including real fresh wagyu, marinated meats of all kinds and seafood including fish and calamari. The meats were tender and all delicous especially the wagyu cuts. When cooked on hot coals it makes everything smokey and delicious. Very busy even on a weekday and be prepared to wait for a seat.

Of note there is very limited parking and had to park on the side street so input one of the 2 close side streets in the GPS if you can.
Augustine.summerton
Fun, fun, fun! Would definitely recommend. Lots of smoke, noise and atmosphere. It’s like entering another world. Get in early to avoid queues.
Danny Diep
Just your standard AYCE KBBQ joint at a very low $30 entry fee. There's always a line here and there's a 2hr limit. Parking is limited. Nothing special that makes me wanna go back but also nothing bad that would make me not want to go back. If I had to choose, i would risk trying a new KBBQ joint rather than coming back.
Hung Ton
Great meats, good service. Extremely popular and great value. lots of fruits and banchan selection is pleasant. Desserts a little bit lacking but all in all very pleased.

For a $30 buffet you definitely get your money's worth. From the various sides to the range of different meats they had to offer Wagyu House does a great job at providing an amazingly meaty experience. However if you have a small stomach or aren't a huge fan of meat, I'd recommend just going to a nice restaurant and eating a smaller portion size instead as this place is most valuable to those with massive appetites.
Indyde
This place is amazing. Compared to other all you can eat kbbq for $30 per person, it doesn’t get better than this. The meat selection was overwhelming, inspired as being in a butcher, meats include beef, lamb, chicken and a really small selection of seafood (I think there were only squid). If you’re a seafood person and not really a meaty person, I think this place won’t satisfy your kbbq cravings. However as a meat lover, this place satisfied my cravings. Their Wagyu meat was good, and I wouldn’t say it was the best wagyu meat that I have had but it is good for the amount you pay for, plus it’s a buffet. Side dishes were generous, which also included hot foods like japchae, tteokbokki, fried rice, miso soup, potato fritters and hash browns. Each table also gets 1 free dish, that is either egg soup or kimchi stew and is only valid 1 time per table. You just need to order it at the counter (and did I mention it was also free?). One down side to this place is that it gets really busy, and the food (especially side dishes) aren’t refilled up consistently. The food area may get crowded at times but it will be worth it when you cook your meat over a charcoal grill. Overall , this place is one of my top rankings for kbbq, would definitely come back again.
Hungry Foodies
For $29.90 you get all you can eat Korean BBQ including a variety of beef, pork, lamb, chicken and seafood cuts, marinated, plain. Array of vegetables for your grill, sides including japchae, fritters, vanilla icecream dessert, fruits, and regular korean sides. The grill is charcoal so has better flavours then regular electric grill. For this price, can't recommend enough! Definitely bang for your buck!

Expect long wait times- first in best served, and very crowded but its true authentic atmosphere.
can get annoying to have to get up and get everything- sides, meat trays, water, plates, chopsticks etc but reasonable for the price. Service is quick and basic as they are very busy.
Would recommend coming as soon as they open.
2 hour eating time
- Would regard meat as pretty good quality for a buffet and marinated well

HIGHLY RECOMMEND over other korean bbq buffets
Timmy Fu
Foods great but the chairs and environment is not the best. During the time I ate there there was too much smoke and everything felt sticky but overall experience was good just wish it was one building
Lucianna Guo
All you can eat bbq.... although the quality of meat isn’t supreme, but the price definitely makes you wanna come back. You need to get there around 5, otherwise it’s long waiting time~~~~ there’s a lot of side dishes you can choose, fruits and ice cream.

Cons
No service. Everything is self serve. Food, drinks and cutlery.
Parking in the driveway however lots of people hanging around waiting.
No bookings.
Long wait time.
Waiter had his personal water bottle stored in the public fridge for water. Took that be mistake thinking that its table water for guests. Kinda gross if you think about it.
Was really thirsty after we got home as there's a lot of salt in the food to make it tasty.
Side dishes is the worst I've ever had in my life.
Egg dish for $1 is sad. Would not recommend. I've had better.

Pros
Lots of marinated meats on offer. I'd say this one is quite good in terms of variety.
Lots of vegetables in offer to bbq.
Lots of tables and it's a ticket system.
Wide range of drinks.

Stick to the veggies and meats. You'll be fine.
Jeremey Wong
This is probably as cheap as you can get for $29 all you can eat 2 hours buffet. Lots of meat variety and vegs.

Nothing special about the service. You pay and go to your designated table. If you need to change the grill, raise your arm and they come to you. If not, they will leave you alone, which is fine.

The meats are self serve. It's typical Korean style meats, well stock-up.

It you come later in the evening, parking tend to be full but there is a street parking. Try aim before 6pm if u want parking space of the restaurant.

Best bang for your buck, Cheap prices for a quality feed. Meats are marinated and the selection is vast. Great place to have a KBBQ if you are on a budget.

After all the hype on being told to go to the Wagyu house. I finally went myself to see what all the fuss is about, and let me tell you it was worth the half an hour wait. ALL YOU CAN EAT!!! Succulent, tasty, marvelous, GLORIOUS BBQ meat and poultry, God knows what’s in those marinates but id soak myself in a bath with it. There was a real stand out waiter, Frank is his name, I’ve never seen an energizer bunny In the flesh, the most hard working gentlemen I’ve seen, keep going bud your an inspiration for the younger millennials.

Really nice authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. All you can eat special is great.
Very open style restaurant is reminiscent of restaurants in Korean (in the suburbs anyway), with the car park backing right onto the restaurant. The meat and food section is inconveniently located in the building on the other side of the car park.
Very open style layout (there are no walls in some parts) helps with the smoke dispersal, but you will still completely smell of smoked meat after the meal. Great selection of meat and seafood, with lots of side dishes (that you can refill yourself). Good boisterous, lively atmosphere

Been to this place many times and it never disappoints! Food is amazing! Would recommend this place and would prefer to drive a little further to this place than going to my local bbq.
The Cheeky Chomper
The food is delicious and flavourful.. friendly staff but a really weird and overly complicated ordering system.. very good Korean fare 😊😊😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Located on Parramatta Road, you cannot miss this place!
It is decked out in coloured lights hanging down like streamers in the shape of a tent.
This place offers $30 all you can eat and it’s great!
There is always a big line up so you better in get in there quick.
Offering a range of meats, sides, dessert and condiments, this place is definitely value for money.
The catch? You have to cook everything yourself on a charcoal grill!
But that’s not so bad – at least you can have your meat the way you like it. Plus, it’s all in the novelty of getting to sit around with your family and friends, cooking food and socializing just like a real barbecue.
Upon entering, you have to pay your $30 at the register then you are shown a seat, and it’s go for your life.
There are trays of various sliced meats including beef, chicken and calamari. They also have trays of wagyu which are also included in your $30.
White hot charcoal is put into your grill by one of the team members, you’re given some tongs and scissors and then you’re set to go.
This place also offers choices of plain rice, fried rice, noodles, salads and condiments galore. It was like being in a candy shop.
With the dessert, they offer vanilla ice cream with a range of toppings. I was quite surprised with the ice cream also. It didn’t taste like cheap soft serve, which was good!
Definitely one to visit.
AMAZING PLACE TO EAT! Service was amazing and the meat was cooked to our pleasure, everything there was just divine and mouthwatering. The staff were really helpful and other side dishes were so fulfilling ❤️😭😍

Went here for the first time with friends. Loved it! They had a variety of meat with different marinations. We could get as much side dishes as we want (which was a bonus). Staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back. By far, the best buffet kbbq I've had.
Cutiefoodie_au 🤙🏽
Good variety of meat and marinated meats, but there could've been a couple more options for seafood. Really enjoyed all the meat especially the marinated spicy beef. It was nice and tender and cut to the perfect size so it was quick to cook and the hit of the spice was unbelievable. Loved the side dish bar as there were a couple of options of kimchi and every single one of them was perfect. The pickled horseradish was a great way to break up all the flavours in between the next bite of meat. Must try the potato noodles also, they had subtle flavour but the texture was extraordinary.
For more reviews please check out my Zomato - Cutiefoodie_au
For more Vlogs check out my YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8CQlEE62GLokH8jGtAEajg

30dollars/person Korean BBQ buffet really worth a try! Many options of beef, pork and some lamb, with different flavours. Also has lots of Korean starters! There will be a branch in Citi next Tuesday. I like it very much regardless of the affordable price or the quality of food.

It took us a long time to get a table since they don't take reservations on a weekend plus we are a big group yet the queue was worth it!!! $30 per person is such a good price for a buffet and the quality of meats that they have is excellent. The staff are pretty attentive too! Loved their marinated pork and beef, and kimchi. A good place for your money's value 👌

the bbq food is so yummy and I love the sweet watermelon 😍😍😍 the services were excellent and I love the environment 🤗 definitely will go for next time with my friend.

On multiple occasions I've taken groups of as large as 60 people to this restaurant and we've had a blast every time that we've been. The meat quality is fantastic and the buffet selection of meat substantial. The packaged Wagyu meat is my favourite, cooked medium rare, and eaten hot off the grill (No sauces needed, but add them if you wish). The salads and condiments are ok, but most guests will be visiting this outlet for the meat. Don't be turned off by reviews that tell you that it's annoying walking between the restaurant and the buffet station - that's all part of the experience! This place is lots of fun, and worth a visit.
Gaffer Chris Mekhail
Love it here. Food is great. Meat is always fresh. Abundant sides. The pancakes are average but everything else is on point. Staff are super friendly too.

First time having dinner here. Good meat selections with nice dipping souce. Busy place, good service and reasonable price. Will come back again..
Ray Raymond
Very cheap at 29.90 all you can eat and with a good selection of food. Wait was abit of a wait so come a little earlier. Meat quality wasnt the best but you cant beat it for value.
Kevin Li
Huge range of meat with reasonable price, service was good and fast, feels like i was sitting on the street in Korea. Only negative was the parking.

HELLA LONG QUEUE TO GET IN! we waited about an hour to get a table for four, but it was totally worth it because everything was so tasty!! the place is clean, and the decor is quite nice even though it is so simple. not public transport friendly as it is quite a walk... but a $30 pp all you can eat KBQ is one of the best deals you can get. this place makes me not want to go home .... i will be back for sure !!!
Pam
$29 pp all you can eat. Firstly, it was delicious and filling. A vast variety of meats and side dishes however not seafood as they only offer squid. Some foods are marinaded and they also offer miso soup, lettuce and steamed rice. Great backyard ambience. It was packed on a Sunday at 7.30pm and we (group of 4) had to wait half an hour for 13 people before us. Overall good quality for your money's worth. Would come again 🐷❣️
Foodie Loving Food, Food Loving Foodie
Definitely good value for all you can eat! The meats are actually quite good standard for all you can eat & the marinades on it are tasty! Lots of variety in meats, side dishes, sauces etc like the usual at Korean BBQs. The negatives are that you have to walk outside (with no cover when its raining) to get the meats, the parking is a disaster (park outside on the side streets & walk there) and not really a "wagyu house" which was disappointing & deceiving more like just a usual Korean BBQ place! 2 hours is plenty of time to get full since they will charge you for waste. It was like eating in Korea with a school camp meal time atmosphere! Definitely worth trying!
Richard Kim
Been here a few times. It used to be really good with quality meats. Now it's terrible, pork belly use to be thick and fat and now it's paper thin, use to have marinated chicken breasts and now it's marinated chicken wings, had the chilli squid side dish wish had the strongest ocean smell and couldn't eat it. I use to love coming here but now it's terrible and would never go back again.

As a big meat lover myself. I have found this place perfectly suits me. Hugh range of meat choices and lots of sides. Reasonable price for 29.90.

Been here a couple of times! As a Korean myself . Very good example of the way we do bbq.fair price and friend staff. Loved the way they present the buffet food. Certainly i would recommend this place to publics.
Guess i finally found my fav Bbq restaurant. Pretty much visit this place once a week. Never let me down. Love the selection of meats and all sides. Friendly staff. Wish i can stay in Aus to enjoy more of this place lol!!
I have been there many time since i lived in sydney. This restaurant is not too far to get there. You can go there by 461 bus from CBD. You will have impressive memory if you have dinner at this restaurant.
Best quality meat, Delicious side dish, Easy to reach there, Fine service and really amazing charcoal BBQ
Jason Vo
I have been here so many times, they have very good side dishes and premium beef. The service is great, perfect for family dinner, birthday, etc. With $30, this is the best All You Can Eat in Sydney. Totally worth the money and highly recommend people to give it a try.

Best BBQ in Sydney
i fall in love with this place my family and friends always created the party in here
Your guys need to come here and try it 1 time 😍

A very friendly shop, the variety of meat all taste great and worth it. The price is very good for the amount they have, I also enjoyed the charcol they have and I would strongly recommend this
restaurant☺

It was really nice restaurant in sydney buffet.
You can enjoy time with many kinds of Unlimit food for 2hours.
I can not forget Waguy House.
I don't want to go back my country because of this restaurant.
I recommend this restaurant to you.
The highest recommended buffet in Sydney!!!! 5 stars +++ for the service and of course 5 stars +++ for quality meat and various marinated meat; as well as awesome Korean side-dishes!!!!!! how lucky!! I found this place; it seriously would make your day ^^

just finished my first visit to this place called wagyu house. came with my two little kids.
they have whole lot different meats to choose from. and has fairly reasonable price for a buffet.
service was friendly and helpful. i recommend this as a reliable place to take a family or friends along
i will definitely swing by again.

Disorganised, chaotic and dirty would be the 3 words that come to mind of this place. We patiently waited 20 minutes for a seat and were shown to a table located right next to the area they dump all their food scraps. Table was sticky. Worst of all - for a place that has a time constraint on their buffet, we waited half an hour for the charcoal to arrive. When it did arrive, they were all given to tables that arrived AFTER us because the staff couldn't be bothered to talk to each other and prioritise where to put them. They told me they would add additional time when we started eating at 8.30pm and close at 10pm. What additional time? Are you going to stay open another half an hour to accommodate us?

Worst of all - they use terrible quality charcoal. I'm no charcoal connoisseur but the meat tasted of chemicals which clearly shows that they are using a cheaper quality charcoal. I felt downright sick after my meal.

Don't bother with this place. Head to Se Jong in Campsie and get more bang for your buck.
Eric Qiao
Wasn't too bad but certainly over-rated. The quality of their beef is just mediocre. Won't recommend to anyone.
2hungryysisters
This review is a little overdue as we came here last week for what we think was a really deliciously filling and satisfying Korean BBQ feed.
For $30pp all you can eat we had a huge variety of meats to choose from, not including side dishes and other food such as the pancake, rice and potato noodles. The meats were definitely the thing to go for as the other foods except the pancake (not including side dishes) weren't that good. By the end of our meals we were so stuffed we couldnt eat another bite even if we wanted to. We highly recommend you come here and try all the meat varieties if you can. All of them were so fresh and so delicious we just cannot single out a favourite.

Only issue we had dining here was the service, our fire was not hot enough for a long time and despite us telling the waitor he did not do much to fix it till we were almost finished eating, that was when he decided to get more charcoal which definitely fixed our fire issue up and had us cooking meat fast. We really wished he had done that earlier.
Also, be prepared to wait as this place seems very popular and gets quite busy. We waited outside for an hour before we were given a table.

Despite that though food is really good so now doubt we'll definitely be coming back here again.
Nana_addictive
This is a typical korean bbq buffet. It has a large variety of meat to choose from - ranging from marinated to non-marinated pork, beef and squid. There are small boxes of non-marinated beef which I suspect may contain some wagyu beef. However this restaurant overall lacks wagyu beef and only provided with the lowest grade of wagyu. It has several hot food options, such as fried rice, potato noodles and seafood pancake, and limited options for side dishes.
Jws14
Should be called House instead because there was a distinct lack of Wagyu meat. customer service standards and quality of the meat has dropped significantly. do not recommend going to this place.
The Naked Food Addict
Really enjoy wagyu house! I love that there is quite a big selection of raw meats and that it is all you can eat (for only $30!!)! I like the fact that the meats are in a different section- just makes the whole experience seem unique compare to other korean bbq's. Not a fan of the actual placement of the grill though- it is quite high on the table obstructing your view of the other person (making conversation a little hard) and there also isn't much of a selection of cooked foods at all. But other than that- would still definitely recommend giving this place a good. Food is delicious and overall a good experience
ChocChip
This restaurant is situated very awkwardly on Parramatta rd. You need to make sure you are coming from the right direction to enter, otherwise you will need to find a side street to turn into, to then make a u turn (some say it's better to park close by and just walk). Although they have parking on the premise, it's very narrow, fitting only one car to drive in or out, at any given time. It is a shared zone so customers walking back and forth between the 2 sections of the restaurants need to keep their eyes out for cars and vice versa. They have a guy giving directions at the front, but I can't help but wonder how it would be on very busy nights. Potentially dangerous, if you ask me. People with kids, make sure you don't let them roam around on their own.

We came for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was quite busy, but we drove in and were directed to a parking spot with no trouble. After being seated promptly, we were explained the "rules" - all you can eat for $30pp. 2 hour seating. Penalty applies for leftovers. In fact, they couldn't stress the last rule enough, as it is printed and stuck all over the food fridges and windows.

Dining is in one side of the restaurant, and food is in the other, across the parking area. They have a very good selection of meats on offer, both plain and marinated. Wagyu, pork, chicken, beef, calamari etc. and their side dishes/ vegetables are plentiful as well. I felt the marinades were a bit too sweet for my liking, so overall i preferred most of the non marinated meats. They also provide a variety of sauces, plain and fried rice, japchae and Korean pancakes.

A few annoying things about this place is the food being in a separate section to the restaurant (but I guess with so much to eat, it's good to walk it off!) and the staff don't seem that friendly or welcoming. They come across as being quite strict on their rules and along side any penalties, they even charge for grill plate changes if you ask to get it changed more than 3 times throughout service (other places are unlimited and they do it without you needing to ask).

For $30pp, it is very reasonable for an all you can eat restaurant, just don't expect any sort of service.
Marco
totally worth with 30$ ,fulfill with the good premium and marinated meat, even the place was surrounded by smoke, but overall worth to try, they have a car park guy which helps a lot

Bad experience dining here. Arrived at 7:15pm but couldnt get a table til 8.30pm (45mins wait). Was told by attendants that the place closes at 10pm and we have 2 hrs dining, but was not told that WE HAVE TO FINISH AT 10PM PROMPTLY AND GET KICKED OUT. 4 of us were in the middle of dining and suddenly an attendant coming out from nowhere taking away the charcoal and grillers without any explanations. We asked for the charcoal back and the attendants did not say any sorry AT ALL. It was 9:50pm, then 10 mins later we were told we have to.pay for the penalties ($130) given that we only have half a dish of meat left. The way the attendants explained things and asked for penalties were very rude and mean. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL SINCE SERVING WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.

Everyone in my inner circle would know that my top two all you can eat restaurants in Sydney are Suminoya and Churrasco. This week’s restaurant we reviewed has proven itself to be a genuine contender for that spot! Wagyu House is an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant in Croydon. It is always busy on weekends and parking is very limited on the venue. So, I suggest you start early!

Wagyu house is definitely a place for people who love good quality beef! 🐄 seeing as they're also a qualified butcher. Although they don't have much variety in ready made meals or desserts.
MASSIVE DOWNSIDE IS THEIR PARKING LOT! Picture yourself struggling to find a space, whilst salivating at the smell of BBQ. The driveway is narrow, so you're bound to get stuck or argue with someone going in a different direction.

I have wanted to go here for years but always thought it would be a little smoky and not sure about the mixed reviews. Well I wish I hadn't have waited so long because it was really good! There was nothing that I wouldn't eat again. Sooo many sides and sauces and a huge selection of meat. Loved the wagyu, and the marinated meats. Really affordable and a great long lunch!

Wagyu House reminds me a lot of Asia. Mainly because there is an attendant whose sole job is directing traffic in and out of the block. This can be justified by the tight parking conditions and heavy foot traffic with minimal lighting.

There are two buildings on site with the first originally set up as the butchery and the second being the dining hall. As it is now buffet style service, you will need to wander across the dimly lit path between the two buildings (without shelter) to gather food for the table. This is an adventure on its own when Mother Nature decides to show a little love with a midsummer downpour. Fortunately, on this occasion we were placed on the balcony of the 'butchery' and were spared the added ingredient of rain water in our food.

The food itself is great value for $30pp. There are ample Korean sides including pancake, kimchi, potato salad, seaweed salad and an array of pickled vegetables. Even rice comes in a variety of plain or fried! But, who has time for that when its all you can eat!

There is a selection of pork, chicken and beef, both plain and marinated. The meats are temperature controlled and a blushing red throughout. Prepackaged selections appear to be wagyu but marbling was not fatty and there looked to be pork in the same package. However, I am not the tiniest bit disappointed considering the measly $30 I paid.

The night was completed with a big serving of watermelon and vanilla ice cream drenched in every single sauce they had. Your inner glutton will not have any dilemmas of choice here! Plus the added walking and cooking will burn off some of that excess calories you just consumed.

Cane here tonight in a group of 4. The place was absolutely chockers and I can see why. For $30p/h there were lots of meat options and stacks of sides. The bulgogi was extremely tender and the chive pancakes were delish. Great place for a group dinner!

One of the best Korean BBQ buffet places you will find in Sydney in terms of price and quality.

The meat is decent quality, there are loads of Korean side dishes to nibble on, and you get to grill your meat on a table-top charcoal grill 😊😊

One thing to be cautious of is the parking on premises so I recommend you park on the adjacent streets of the premises and walk a little bit 😁😁

Went here last night. Busy place. Luckily got a table for 3 on a Saturday night around peak 7pm. The variety was good. But wagyu could have been better. It was cheap wagyu. Strands of beef with a lot of fat. Dessert was a huge let down. Around 8 tubs of ice cream, all vanilla. And that was it.

Luckily it stopped raining because the place where you grab the meat is separate to your table. So you would have to walk back and forth with no shelter to cover the meat.

Packed house. Service was good. They stand around waiting for the next table to help out.

Very disappointed,no service, over priced, wrong order, very bad experience, the waitress not professional, we waited one order take 40-50 mins, at the end, no come,

It was one bad experience many years ago that prevented me from trying Korean BBQ again, but after visiting Wagyu House in Croydon, I'm very glad I did. I loved the extensive range of side dishes (big fan of kimchi) and meats, and definitely left just a little more than full. It was great value for money and the service was very friendly.

Went there with a group of 8 on a Sunday night around 8pm. The restaurant was crowded and lively. Had to wait for about 20mins before getting a table for us all. Our table was in the patio. The place closes at 10pm and we were the only ones outside. Liked the atmosphere and the extensive selection of unlimited meat and side dishes was well worth the $29.90 pp price tag.

Make sure you get here early to avoid waiting. Came here midweek. $30 all you can eat bbq - I have to admit the meat selection is good but the sides could have more variety as well. Word of warning you do come out smelling like bbq so make sure you don't come here when you have freshly washed your hair. Service was quick and attentive when needed.

Had dinner here on a Saturday night. There was 6 of us. It is a bit weird that you pay and get your food in one building and carry your food across the driveway and across the people who are waiting for a table to get to the other side where you sit and cook your food. The wagyu was very tasty. The part where you get your meat and it says seafood is really just calamari. No prawns and no fish fillet. They only give 2 tongs per table. Since there was 3 couples in our table, one couple had to cook using a fork which happened to be my hubby and I. Dessert is just vanilla ice cream with toppings. Parking is bad. It costs $30 per person which is so expensive for meat and vanilla ice cream. Not worth it at all. Needless to say, i got hungry again when i got home.

It looks like an old motel that’s been bought over by someone with LOTS of dough and an equally abundant amount of imagination. The Korean owners have turned this into a fantastic little lego-esque fantasy K-town.

All you can eat korean bbq
Price is $30pp which entitles you to eat as much as you want, the system is that you can only grab a packet of meat per person (Packed by the butcher on selected cut of meat) you can grab more as you finish the previous. (To aviod wastage) unlimited sides covers 7 different kimchi items, rice, noodles, salads and more.
But be warned - they offer less selections on weekdays and rush you on weekends. So my advice dont fill up on carbs and pig out on the wagyu and porkbelly.
I have never been treated rudely yet and i had been there 3 times. However my friends got bad treatment from Wagyu house staff.

Buyer beware!. Go rudely asked to leave after 20 minutes because we ate too much.. Were told we were on the black list because we are large eaters (my friends are all average sized asians).

Very disappointing as we had been very excited to try, and had even brought some friends from interstate.

Don't have the buffet if you plan on eating a lot, or you might get kicked out and humiliated as we did.

Can't believe I didn't go here sooner! The meats are all fresh, top quality, quite pricey though, but its good for once in a while. The service is outstanding and the soups are cheap, $16 can feed up to 5people!

Wagyu House is a butcher and restaurant all in one. You enter into a self-serve butchery where you can choose trays of sliced meats and raw seafood. The wagyu beef trays are the most tempting, varying in size and marbling to a peak price of $250.

The wagyu is amazing, fatty, tender and melt in the mouth but unfortunately we were starting to suffer the effects of meat sweats and I had to resort to wrapping morsels of meat in lettuce leaves. It seems my meat eating training in Texas has deteriorated.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
Ten minutes outside the Inner West, a circus tent of lighting alerts you to this Korean mecca of meat. Pull your vehicle directly into what appears to be the centre of the restaurant; get met immediately by a smiling waiter. First timers are directed into one half of the restaurant - 'The Butcher' - which also owns two NSW wagyu farms. They deal in whole carcasses, slicing, diced and skewering them into an extensive, white-plate selection, ranging from mixed to marinated meats, vegetables and seafood. Spoiled for choice, we eventually lean towards marination: Chilli Seafood Sticks ($10/3) Angus Short Rib ($25) and Pork Belly Chilli ($20.64/259g) while bemoaning not bringing more friends! We pay, and they’re loaded into a shopping basket with a unique array of beverages – Baek Se Joo ($22/300ml) mellow Korean ginger and ginseng fermented rice wine

Give and Get. Greeted promptly on arrival and showed to our seats from our car. The waiter was very pleasant and accommodating. The quality of the meats were good and tasted real though it was a bit pricey. Service was very fluid, had the side dishes and utensils organised by the time we got back from buying the meats. The sides had a lot of variety and the general feel about the place was quite soothing. Felt like a home bbq in a park. The man that brought the coal around was quite comical, he had a short ponytail and didnt make a sound and had a stern face. We had the pork belly and bulgogi for bbq and yukgaejang soup. My boyfriend normally hates that soup but i got him to try this one and he said he would actually order that next time. :D Would definitely come back again.
Wannie
Very good quality meat - not cheap but definitely worth the money!

Also, the variety and standard of side dishes were better than any other Korean restaurants that I've been to in Sydney.
