We had our wedding at the cafe and it was an excellent night, everyone loved the food the venue and everyone who brought the food out was so polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this venue for your celebrations
Last night we had our daughters 21st at the cafe and it was absolutely everything she could have wished for! The food was great and plentiful. The staff very helpful and lovely. And Yasmin was an absolute delight to deal with. Thanks so much for making it a night she will remember forever. Highly recommended!
Thanks Yas for making our wedding ceremony and reception both wonderful and enjoyable! You and your staff were delightful, the food was great and the venue was perfect for a couple of middle-aged English ex pats.
Beautiful setting inside the conservatory and lovely and warming on a winters day. Lovely food!
Shared the high tea platter- delicious!
One of my favourite places love the ambience, the cafe, the scenic grounds and the art exhibitions, which I recommend my family and friends to visit. Great for surprise bdays's.
A beautiful place for our engagement party. Yasmin was so accommodating and the cafe was set up beautifully on the night. The food and wine was delicious. Thanks again!
My fiancé and I held our engagement party here on Saturday night and it was the best night of our lives. The venue is beautiful and the staff are beyond amazing. The food is to die for! Thank you Yasmin and mark for all your help and our guests are still raving about the night. Keep up the great work. Matt and Erin.
It was a delightful little tea rooms. Our high tea was lovely. The only thing wrong was the inconsiderate other diners who were talking so loud that it put a real damper on this special day. Cudous to the charming staff who were rushed off their feet and didn't stop smiling the whole time. Would certainly come again but would consider making an earlier time slot.
A lovely location and delicious food. Well worth a visit
I had my 60th birthday at The Conservatory Cafe yesterday and it was the most wonderful day.....food was incredible and the hosts Yasmin & Mark and their staff were impeccable......nothing was to much trouble
All of my guest's love the day!!
I recommend this venue for a function or for a brilliant luncheon
Very friendly and helpful staff and made my 21st the best it would be!
Lovely setting. Good food reasonably priced. Perfect place for brunch & a walk around the grounds on a sunny afternoon.
Often go to this place with grandchildren and great grandchildren, children friendly. Lovely playground and food great.
We went there for the first time today and had the best time.
Food was delicious and the place is beautiful.
Great place to go with the kids.
Love it.
Such a great place. Love that I can grab a coffee while my kids play 😊 and the scones are yum!!!

Yasmin catered for our every whim and was a pleasure to deal with. We will certainly go back to enjoy a leisurely meal or coffee. Well done and thank you.

My fiancé and I had had our engagement party here and we had an incredible night. The staff went above and beyond helping us plan our night and set up too. They filled the place with fairy lights, lanterns and even black boards with our names. Food was amazing and they catered for dietary requirements without hesitation. For quality and price I couldn't recommend it higher! Thanks for having us! We will definitely have another special occasion there again.
Last month we had our wedding reception at The Conservatory Cafe. It was a wonderful night, so relaxed and completely stress free. I would recommend this venue for anyone's function, they don't hear the word wedding and increase their prices by 200%. Beautiful and extremely helpful staff. My husband is a chef and he gave the food a 10/10.
The Conservatory Cafe is a gem in the eastern suburbs. I have been there quite a few times and the service, food, setting, and staff have always been above and beyond excellent. I organized my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary there last year and Yasmin and her staff could not have been more accommodating. My mum passed away a few months after their party and it was looking at photos and talking of the memories of that happy, happy day that cheered her up during her long stay in hospital. I thank you from the bottom of my heart Yasmin, as the picture I keep close is one taken that Sunday afternoon, when she looked beautiful and was so happy to be surrounded by her family and friends.
Food, service excellent. Lovely surroundings for all ages, and all weather conditions. Will certainly go back x
One of my darling late Dad's favorite places to eat! (Mine too!) Beautiful home cooking & great service! All our family got together there yesterday to celebrate Dad's 100th birthday, which he missed by just 4 months. Thank you to all! We'll be back xoxox
A beautiful public park with excellent community facilities. Playground mainly appeals to younger children but great open areas for older groups to participate in leisure activities. There are a number of community groups who access the site too, such as, art classes, philosophy class, dance groups, etc. The Conservatory Cafe is excellent with friendly staff and great food and coffee! Be sure to book early though as getting a seat can be tough!
Thank you so much! It was perfect function for me :) everything was amazing!
Thank you so much Yasmin and staff for the platters you made last minuet for my presentation. No stress and no fuss and delivered straight to my front door. We all loved the food and presentation. Thanks for the effort and help on my special night!
What a great night ,the food , the service ,everything was terrific.
Thanks to Yasmin and her beautiful team for making my 21st memorable. Such a lovely group of people in a stunning venue, I couldn't ask for anything better. I would recommend anyone to visit the conservatory cafe any day.
The almond milk latte was wonderful and the fruit toast was yummy.
My two girlfriends and I had scones with jam and cream this morning. Yum, yum, yum!! Will be back again very soon.
Awesome cute & cozy cafe. Would be a great day out with the kids as you can sit outside eating to your hearts content while the youngsters play on the playground. I’ve been wanting to go here as I saw they do potato waffles! So of course I got the potato waffle stack plus a scone & a lime milkshake. The lime milkshake was insane! So much flavour. The scone was fluffy & filling. Loved the jam and cream. Last but not least the potato waffle. That was good! Loved every bite of it.
My friend got the falafel bowl & really enjoyed that. She loved the chickpeas 😂
Honestly I really loved this cafe. It has a great variety of food for everyone to enjoy. You can go for breakfast, lunch or even do a high tea!
The staff were super friendly & the prices were great. All of the stuff I ordered equaled $24! How insane. Definitely want to come back & try their high tea.
I come here for the ambience. The family friendly vibe and area is absolutely lovely. Open area with really good playground is enclosed by a fence so you can safely let your kids run around while you can actually enjoy a coffee. I also adore the glass “greenhouse” style cafe area that makes you feel like you’re sitting at a window seat.
Food is decent, nothing extraordinary, coffee is okay.
Don’t make the same mistake as me. The potato waffle is NOT like a hash brown. It is undistinguishable from a normal waffle.
I used to go there with Jennifer to do some writing, have a milkshake or a cake and play on the swings. We both really enjoyed it and the staff were kind to us and the service was amazing.
After a quick meeting in Croydon, I was feeling a bit famished so decided to check out the super cute Conservatory Cafe, located at the Wyreen Community Arts Centre. . ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE. Located amongst four acres of gorgeous gardens, here you will find a quaint little cafe, serving up a delicious high tea in a stunning old historic building. The cafe is enclosed with floor to ceiling windows, a tall white tent roof and an abundance of greenery scattered throughout.
I think the scones were the highlight of my experience. It was light and fluffy and really fresh. I like the fact that they have a playground next to the cafe so kids can play while you chat with friends and you can still keep an eye on them.
I can't comment on the food as we only dropped in to have a cup of tea and coffee. It was a great little cafe. I would love to come back for a meal.
We drove by hull road and saw a sign 'cafe open' outside croydon art centre and so we walked in. We are lucky to have one outdoor table unreserved as most tables were reserved for booking on sat lunch time. Our scone and foccacia were cooked to perfection. Suits people who wants a relax brunch or lunch or afternoon. Love the classic tea cup. Surrounded by little garden perfect for families to chill. I rarely gave a five but I just love this place!
Pleasant and quaint little cafe, in leafy surrounds (there is an outdoor seating area). Good value meals, and a no fuss service.
Sweet items included mini date scones, chocolate dipped profiteroles, and raspberry almond tarts. My favourite out of the three was the raspberry almond tart which was so moist and contained a surprise raspberry.
Was reasonable, but charged fees for Eftpos which was annoying. After spending $50 in one transaction, decided we need one more coffee and was asked to pay an extra fee.
Beautiful setting, lovely staff and great coffee!
Lovely setting, delicious burgers, good coffee, great scones.
A great kid friendly place for breakfast. The food is delicious, the serves are generous, the service is friendly and the scenery is relaxing. What more could you ask for on a lazy Saturday morning?
Lovely setting, beautiful food, great 'homely' service!
Have been here several times for their High Tea which never fails to impress anyone I've ever brought here, especially for the price. Lovely staff, great place for kids particularly with a playground just outside the door. The ONLY very minor complaint is the coffee (sorry)
The latte n the danish that I had were absolutely yummy. My wife also had a latte n scones - again, yummyx3.
Would recommend those with young children to visit it as it's playground caters very much towards their needs.
Lovely little Cafe looking out on to a park with a playground for the kids.
Cute decor and enjoyable meals
A hidden gem for brunch/lunch. Great environment with green views; plenty of space for children; and good value coffee/lunch/brunch.
Interesting location and venue. Very nice food. Great service. Looking forward to next visit......
Lots of variety. Great atmosphere. Playground and Cafe are excellent. Very popular.
A lovely experience. Despite being considerably busy on a weekend at the lunch time rush, the waitress was friendly and welcoming.
The food itself was also excellent, the range is fairly standard for a cafe but executed excellently; the club sandwich and chips were superb.
The other attractive point about the Conservatory Cafe is the beautiful old building it is in, accompanied by vibrant gardens outside.
As a bonus there's also a playground so it's a great place for kids.
