We have not had this kind of top quality service in a long time. A testament to the owners! Not only was each meal delicious but the dessert... oh my what a bonus!!

Came here with my family for birthday special & as usual, we were welcomed by friendly staff who seem eager to serve. Food was delicious & plenty of it. Ended up with lovely sweets platter & coffee & cake. What a superb end to a day.

Loved it! The staff were fantastic the food was lovely and the kids were made to feel really welcome. When we were ordering the kids weren't sure whether to order kids meals (often too small) or adult meals (often way too big lol ) so our awesome waiter brought out every sized plate and explained the meal sizes to them

Fantastic meals, the meats were tender and everything was tasty. The kids meals were excellent value and quality food. The service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
The team here are wonderfully accommodating, the food tastes great, and prices are wallet friendly.
We had a big group after a movie, they split our bill which made paying so, so much easier. Too few places do split bills so finding somewhere that does is amazing.
I really enjoyed the home-made hot salsa, I got a whole tub of it from the manager to take home - so good omg!

Went here for dinner during our two night getaway. They honoured the entertainment book voucher with no issues. They were also friendly to our baby and offered crayons. Meals were ok. Recommended.

Long time lover, first time reviewer. Viva Mexico is a reliable 'go-to' meal. Its always guaranteed to be satisfying. The food portions are very generous and all served with a warm smile.
Usually we get takeaway from this place but decided to eat in instead. Service was excellent. Food is very good. The dessert platter is excellent and a bargain at $15.95!! Didn't enjoy the margarita at all mainly because it was a frozen drink which I either didn't read the menu properly or it doesn't state as such. Worth the visit for the food though!!

Amazing service. Went above and beyond. We sat near a window with sun coming in and they apologised a few times a day when another table became free they asked if we wanted to move. We didn't but it was appreciated. Plus so much more. Food was really good and big portion sizes.
Amazing staff really went above and beyond for us. Had a last minute function for them to put on with a few days notice and they were fantastic, opening up in their usual break between lunch and dinner. Completely unasked they got balloons and printed custom menus. The food was great and the price was right but the best thing was definitely the service. I will be going back
Where to begin! Came here for an small birthday, managed to try heaps of food as we had multiple share plates. Service was FANTASTIC, both friendly and fast. Food was amazing, great authentic Mexican.

The food was so good! But the service was amazing. My wife has allergies and the staff bent over backwards to make sure her meal was safe and good. Plus they new what they were talking about. Definitely going back.
I love this place!! So much better than taco bill and really well priced with friendly staff and generous servings. The menu is quite large too. Our waitress went above and beyond. We couldn't decide between two cocktails so she went out and brought two tiny glasses with one of each of the cocktails for us to try first. Just very friendly and accomodating
I love Viva Mexico and we go about once a month. Family-owned and run business - the staff are lovely and friendly, service is always great. Nice and friendly vibe, everyone is happy and comfortable. Decor could do with a refresh. Food is delicious, some of the best Mexican food around. Huge serving sizes, all hot and fresh, great value food. Extensive Mexican menu (similar to Taco Bill), but they also do burgers. I don’t recommend the desserts. Make sure you book a table, especially on weekends. Family friendly. Join the birthday club and you get a free meal for your birthday.

After reading all the fab reviews we tried this out on Sunday for our anniversary. We were not dissapointed ! The homemade salsa upon arrival is probably the best we've ever had outside of the US! The service was excellent .

The mains were generous sized and piping hot. No old El Paso being served up here all home made !!

We went for dinner on a Monday night when it was quiet and really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere of young families and relaxed couples brightened us up after a long day and made us feel comfortable. It would be fun to bring a work party for their happy hour!
Our service was friendly, the plates large, well presented and fairly priced.
There are weekly specials, happy hours and tequilas at the bar.
We found them in the Entertainment Book and we liked it!
The service was great, the staff were very accommodating to our 5 month old, and even brought her her own tortilla with cheese amid refried beans. Food was nice, and others in our group really enjoyed the margaritas!
Been here twice with my boyfriend & both times we were not disappointed.
The staff are all really friendly and attentive. They even helped with our orders! Most importantly the food is fantastic, probably the best Mexican outside of the CBD. They also have a great selection of cocktails too. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back again soon!

Great Food and Fabulous Service. Where service is generally lacking these days in a lot of industries, including hospitality, this place reminds you that it still exists. All the staff here are extremely friendly and attentive and made our dining experience fabulous. The food matched the service. The servings were more than generous and they all tasted delicious. I will be back and recommending it to anyone who loves Mexican food and loves good old fashioned friendly service. What I also thought was a great idea is the sample tray where you could try the fillings such as chilli con carne to see which one you like. The owner said this was implemented because there is nothing worse than sitting down to a whole meal that you don't enjoy. This is a great idea, especially for children. Like I said I will be back!
Best Mexican ever!. We go here regularly, service is fantastic, food is fantastic and prices are really reasonable. The lemon margaritas are yummy too! Only negative is it can be a bit noisy but doesn't stop us going back!
The staff are so friendly and willing to make this a pleasant dining experience. The food is filling, tasty and worth the funds. While not a relaxing atmosphere it is a great location to meet for a casual night out with friends. It is certainly on the return list and this time I'll be certain to try there amazing and decadent looking desserts.
Went on Saturday night with voucher and restaurant was full lucky I booked. Quickly seated and shown menu.
Salsa and chips to nibble on while waiting. Salad de casa was lovely with fresh avocado on top. Simple but nice
Main was super fajita with no beef but as the place was so noisy bec of bad acoustics the waiter may not have heard. Fajita was quickly replaced but the veggies were very soft - whether they were overcooked or reused from first dish, do not know. Rice a little on the firm ide. Overall nice, with plenty of chicken and sides making it a filling meal.
Second main was enchilada huevo which was covered in cheese and little on the ordinary side.
Service was fast and friendly even with voucher and on very busy Saturday .
Venue needs noise dampeners as had to raise our voices to have a normal conversation.
Plenty of parking as restaurant in shopping strip and shops had closed for the night.
Nice place but nothing stood out. Would return if in area.
Great Mexican food. Viva Mexico is, by a long stretch, the best Mexican restaurant I've been to. Generally I find Mexican food to be extremely processed, fatty and fake. But Viva Mexico's food was just how you would cook at home. The staff were friendly and they have a good variety of Margaritas - important for washing down all that melted cheese ;-)
Unbelievable experience. My partner and I was browsing through entertainment book, and saw this voucher, as its in Croydon which we perceived as a place that will struggle with getting customers. To our surprise, it was almost jammed packed with people. One of the waitress said, "oh tonight at last we have some newbies". Anyway, service and quality of food was great, one thing that I would pick on is that there wasn't sufficient lighting to have the food shown its colour. I get its an ambience thing. Very down to earth place, feel like you are being served at home. Tuesday and Wednesday is half price nachos and margarita night. Go try and enjoy.
Fast service even on a Saturday night. But best to book, we were lucky to get a table. Yummy food! Highly recommended.

Out standing service!. Viva Mexico serves fresh mexican food, it's great to go to one that actually looks like food not like scum that is spooned out of a vat. The staff there are SO nice, better service then any restaurant I have ever visited. We went there with a free voucher and we were still treated like kings which is exactly how it should be.

This is my new regular Mexican food restaurant. From the very start my husband and kids were made to feel very welcome. Service is great and food delicious with generous servings.
Fun atmosphere, really satisfying food and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they seemed to genuinely want you to have a good night and were interested in remembering who we were for next time. Quite reasonably priced too! My only complaint was that the chicken was a little bland, but with so many other lovely flavours in the rest of the meal to compliment it, it's hardly an issue. Highly recommended!

Very good quality Mexican food - and this is coming from a connoisseur! My daughter and I visited a couple of times and the food is excellent and the wait staff are very attentive. The food was ready in no time even though they were busy. They even gave us a couple of jalapeño poppers to try on the house - stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. Yumm!

And the food..... Highly recommend the 3 Tacos. I have a big appetite but I can honestly say I did struggle to get through them. They are really filling. And several hours later I am still not hungry.
Prices of the food and the drinks are reasonable which is always a bonus.
Got the opportunity to meet Dean, and all I can say is what a nice guy.
Was more than happy to throw in a tip for the staff as the service they provided was outstanding.

It's rare I rave about a restaurant like this, but I will now.
Firstly food. There's plenty of it and it's very good. I have possibly had better Mexican (but that's very line-ball), but no way had any better service, just about anywhere, so consistently as here.
Oh, and staying on the food, I am a vegetarian that shouldn't eat wheat. Every time I've eaten here, my request for "painful food" and menu changing has been met with a smile and no problems whatsoever.
Now. Service. Almost the best I've had. Consistently, the lady at front of house has been wonderfully welcoming. Not in your face. Just right. Very pleasant and accommodating. And she _communicates_ well with all of her customers. This mentality seems to have been infused through all staff. We had a wonderful meal on Valentine's day night, and I was finally inspired to write this, because every time we come out saying that the service and food are wonderful.

Went for dinner for my son’s 14th birthday. Group of seven people and we had a fabulous time. Staff were delightful young people and the owner was there; he stopped by our table for a chat and to check everything was ok ... it was! The food was delicious (a few of us had the Saturday night ‘deal’ of chicken ribs (divine - three different marinades), others had Mexican curry, vegetarian burger, nachos and a chicken burger). All was fresh and delicious. Could not fault the meal or the staff. Highly recommended.
Really nice authentic Mexican restaurant, it has such an aesthetic and calming atmosphere that makes dining there such a nice experience. I had one of the burgers, the burgers are a more unique and original aspect of the restaurant so it isn't just boring traditional food, the burgers play with the flavour and make for such creative foods. The burger I had was a take on pulled pork and slaw, there was a lot of everything going on and on top of all that, they put the crackling in the burger! Genius! My family tried some of the quesadillas, tacos and burritos which I also snuck in a bite of and they were so tasty and wasn't too wet or too dry and no flavour overpowered another. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future. So good!
New owner is so friendly, only too happy to help. Meals are tasty. We had a beef Quesadilla and burrito Del Mar. Beef was delicious, so tender and seafood in burrito was so fresh. Scallops were huge!
