Ordered the big brekkie and junior brekkie for a reasonable price and quick service, around 5 minutes! Juice and ice latte nice too and service good. Will be back as a new local

Love, love, Love! this cafe'. For good quality food at reasonable prices you cannot go wrong! stopping here for either breakfast or lunch or coffee and something sweet on your way to work. The location is close to the Croydon Station and close to other shops in the Croydon Village. If you're coming here for flowers fruit vegetables or simply coming here to eat this is one place I always visit. One of my favourite dishes here is the salmon Benedict very filling very well priced and cooked beautifully. The coffee is also excellent and they're sweet menu is to quite simply divinešŸ˜‰. Therefore if you're looking for a savoury or a sweet place to come and eat stranded Deli Cafe is where I would head to. Great service with a smile, clean facilities and excellent fresh cooked food. 5 out of 5!

Wish I took a photo of the food but didn't expect to be leaving a review. Stopped by for a quick feed on our way to our next destination, checked it out after other cafes weren't serving food anymore. Ambience is great, staff friendly and the food was awesome. Brekky burrito doesn't look special, but add the hashbrown and it is. Well seasoned and full of flavour. Will be back.

Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but the food was amazing, perfectly runny eggs, good amount of salmon, crispy bread and rich sauce. Food was ready in no time, and the atmosphere is really nice and chilled. Would definitely come back again!

Hugely disappointing. We went for brunch today and I ordered the Iced Chai Latte. It was just a cup of milk with barely there chai powder and a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream on top. It wasn't even cold. The chai at McDonalds (who also use powder instead of tea leaves) is so much better. There was no flavour and a complete rip off. We then ordered the grazing plate. Which again was so disappointing. Good presentation on the plate but for $17, you hardly got any food. Two overcooked poached eggs, 1.5 slices of bread that resembled Helgas bread (yes, we didn't even get 2 slices each. They toasted 3 slices of bread, cut each slice in half and gave us 3 pieces each). It wasn't even sourdough or any decent, thick bread. Practically sliced toast. Then 4 small strips of smoked salmon; 3-4 heirloom tomatoes (which if you don't know, are the size of cherry tomatoes); a tiny scoop of labne; a tiny scoop of beetroot hummus (shame about the portions because they were nice) and two cut strawberries that tasted overly sweet like they were about to go off. An absolute rip off for something you could make better at home (don't you hate that?). Seems like staff don't care. There is also a super loud blender they use which was so loud, we moved outside because we were practically yelling over it. There are so many brunch spots in the area, we won't be coming back.

We come here often as we lived in the surrounding neighbourhood. This is great little place for very decent Campos coffee and ok food. Staff can be a hit and miss most times but I don't mind as long as they are doing their job. Today however, we came in for breakfast and I ordered for my 2 kids each a kiddie breakkie with extra bacon and sausages. It came out as expected like many times before, more bacon and 2 tiny kid size sausages instead of 1. Which is what I was expecting so it was fine. When I asked for the bill and the total was a bit much so I asked for the break down. The staff showed me the receipt which showed 2 kiddies breakkie with the extra costed $39!!! Apparently I got charged $4 for 1 extra sausage and another $4 for bacon...on each serve. The staff got upset at me for making queries even though I wasn't at all upset at that point. I was merely asking her how did she come up with that total?!?! She said "oh because you ordered extra and it cost $4 each". Well yeah I know, but do your math $7.50 + 4 + 4= $15.50 x 2= $31(which were too much already!) I told her whatever it is, shouldn't cost that much for 2 plates of kid meal, I might as well order the big breakfast and that would cost me less. She got irritated and told me "I don't respect you for yelling at me" and " I didn't take your order so I don't know" and walk off acting all upset?!? and FYI I wasn't even yelling at her and it should be me getting upset not her! At this point the guy that serve coffee and seems to be the manager took over and told me something along the line" I really respect you as a paying customer" "please keep your voice down" oh duh is it because you are busy and you don't want other customers to see that your staff is rude and unable to answer when being questioned by me?! He took out the calculator trying to show me the how they arrived at $39 and much to his surprise it came up $31. I said to him I don't mind paying I just want to be sure that I'm being charged correctly. He took my money in the hurry because he realized that they were wrong and afraid I might make more fuss. I left with no apologies from both staff and feeling annoyed. Something so simple can ruin a good Sat morning. I do hope the staff is feeling better now and have no one questions her throughout her shift because she might burst into tears. Better trained staff with more positive attitude needed from this place.

When a customer leaves feeling like they were charged the maximum possible amount for their order, it's not a good look. I had to laugh (rather, groan) that it's $4 extra to add salmon to a dish, when when I wanted to remove salmon from my vego Eggs Benedict (Florentine), they took off just $0.90 because I said the price should be reduced. Initially they offered mushrooms instead of salmon (it already came w spinach) although I didn't want anything extra... for $0.90 I guess I'll take the mushrooms. "It's in the system that way" clearly doesn't mean anything; if they can take off $0.90 they can take off $4. Last time I came, they put meat on my vego dish (replaced but no other amends), AND charged full price for the meat dish! This time, I also ordered a juice. They had run out of apples so I changed the combo... they charged me for the most expensive juice on the menu even though it didn't contain any expensive (eg kale, mint, etc) ingredients! I get that businesses prefer to keep money in their pockets; sometimes it's better to please and keep a customer. There won't be a third time. The food itself? The food is reasonable, although with some dishes the flavours aren't well matched.

Very lucky to have Stranded as our local. Highlights are the brekky bun (substitute bacon for haloumi), the granola (with five star presentation) and the veg! Very reasonably priced, and fantastic food quality and service every time. And the dessert cabinet is a hidden gem in this cafe, definitely take a look!

Amazing coffee with friendly staff! Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, and although it was a busy brunch crowd, seats were found for our comfort. Prompt delivery of our delicious coffee and meals were appreciated and boy, were they scrumptious! I highly recommend this glorious example of well organised cafe.

Extremely disorganised. Ordered a breakfast roll and juice. Not only did the young waitress give my food to someone else who then went and put their hands all over it before handing it back, there just zero acknowledgement of the mistake or even the potential infection consequences.

Inner West Sydneyā€™s bustling GemšŸ’Ž Seriously thereā€™s not a time that I come to this charming cafe that itā€™s not busy, not only because it proudly serves coffee addicts quality Campos Beans, and every milk alternative known to man, you will understand why in just a wee bit.
Ok so everything pretty much on this well consolidated menu (suits all basic and extra AF foodies such as myself) sounds nothing less then lavish. Back to the drawing board I go and I ordered the Cilbir Plate:
Honest to God any one can perfectly poach eggs (just not me I still manage to f*** that up) and pull smoked salmon out of a Tassal bag, but show me some of that eggplant šŸ† loveā€” freshly seasoned and grilled to PERFECTION. NOW that my friends is a deadly combination with burnt butter sauce, and house made dill yogurt to level up that salmon to sexy YUMšŸ¤¤.
My heart is literally #Stranded at this place, can the staff pick it up with my next coffee order?!?! P.S pun intended.

Finally found a local place that does good coffee (campos) and food! I walked past this place for the first time and stopped for a morning coffee. After sitting and enjoying the cozy interior I was tempted by the delicious menu into having breakfast too! The presentation of the food was amazing and theĀ waitress (Nieve) who served me was super friendly and helpful :) Ill definitely be back!

Went to Stranded Deli Cafe for breakfast and was given my iced coffee with a big black moth on top. No one apologised or seemed surprised. Water never arrived after asking. Shame about the horrible service as the food was nice.

Nice cafe, friendly service, reasonably priced. The only point Iā€™d make is very small amount of meat on the Reuben sandwich, condiments overwhelmed the 1 thin slice so you couldnā€™t taste it- otherwise tasty.

Every time I'm in Sydney, I make sure I get a bite from this cafe. Small, cosy place with the most delightful menu. They have an excellent choice of fresh juices and a brilliant all day breakfast menu.
If you're looking for good burger, their wagyu beef burger is a must try.

A very popular cafe located near Croydon train station. It was so busy when I got here and buzzing with people. Lots of locals and a few dogs outside too! I decided to get takeaway as I was in a bit of a rush. Service is really nice, I was asked if I wanted my Chai Latte straightaway or to be made once my Bacon & Egg Roll was made. I opted for the latter. The chai was lovely and the roll was nicely toasted. Can't go wrong with this in the morning.

Really friendly staff here, great service, big range of sweets that look amazing and a nice atmosphere. Food is reasonably high quality, although I think the menu could be improved, the biggest negative for me is the coffee as it seems to have a funny taste I don't enjoy.

This strip of shops has a lovely feel to it. A couple of trips here in the last few days confirm it as good coffee. A strong Campos that is well made. Good service and spacious seating make for w happy visit.

Cute lil local cafe with cute decor and good brunch food. Decent Campos coffee too. Brekky bun is tasty! There banana smoothies are pretty yum too. Only drawback is that one barista dude who is always kinda offhand and awkward when dealing with anyone and the fact theres always a screaming baby among the customers.
Lisa Farrell
Deli cafe serving up sandwiches/wraps, cakes and coffee. Limited outdoor seating but cute and colourful inside. Service isn't overly friendly but worth a visit if you're looking for lunch in the area. Decent coffee.

Finally a local place that does good coffee and good food! (Extra points because they're also dog friendly!) I've been here a few times and they never fail to satisfy whether it's the breakfast poached eggs with a big serving of hollandaise or the delicious burger with sweet potato chips and balsamic on the side. They have a very cute interior design and you cant go wrong with campos coffee :) youre also able to buy coffee beans of all sorts there. Would definitely recommend!
