if not on menu they will create for you. my favourite eatery
Really good Indian! Atmosphere is great! And service is awesome too. We had the butter chicken and it was very very good compared to other Indian we've had before.
*Good Lunch Special*...... Really nice to see that Asta's is now open for lunch Wed -thurs - Friday.... Always consistant and friendly reliable staff ... Do try ...... Also open Tuesay to Sunday nights ... This is really good for eastern /croydon area.
Best Indian restaurant. I will always come back. Consistanly delicious food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
We have ordered takeaway fro
Here and eaten in several times! Live the food... Never disappoints! Asta himself is a beautiful and friendly man who enjoys a good chat. Live it here! Highly recommend it!!
Really yummy food, the kings banquet is very reasonable and it was nice to try a few dishes! Service is average - not wonderful. I'd recommend based on the beautiful food :-)
Butter Chicken at Asta's Tanddor. Really enjoyed the meal at Asta's - I can't normally eat spicy food, but this was a mild dish and so enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant for quiet, very cheap but high quality dinner outing. Surroundings are warm and colorful. The quality is in the food for sure, and that's all that counts.
Good value Indian. Have eaten in and had takeaways. Both meals were well cooked and enjoyed. Didnt take long for our order to arrive.
Staff were a little hard to understand (but it is an Indian restaurant.lol). Decor was a bit tired and dull but economics times tight- I would rather the money spent on the food and not the decorating.
Good value for money meals, drinks are priced reasonably and nice food
Great value. We ordered the onion bhaji, lamb korma, beef vindaloo and jasmine rice all for $34 and we were left feeling like we had truly eaten! The lamb in the Korma was beautifully tender and the sauce creamy and flavoursome without being too rich. The Vindaloo was just the right amount of hot and the beef extremely tender to the point where it would just melt in your mouth. We enjoyed the onion bhaji but be warned that it does not transport well if you order for takeaway. Have eaten in and had take away from here a few times and it's been sure not to disappoint, although if eating in, it does lack some atmosphere and the decor feels tired. Having said this, there are few Indian restaurants in suburban Melbourne that are newly renovated.
