Review The Cudlee Cafe - Cudlee Creek

Cafe - 5/5 ample seating, ample parking and great customer service. I'll be very honest! We did wait over an hour for our meal which turned out that they forgot about us. However, there were empathetic, apologetic and quickly made our meals with free coffee. Meal - 5/5 Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Eggs poached to perfection! Coffee (Small Strong Latté) 5/5

The taste of coffee and cakes is amazing, but they are not served nice and clean! The general atmosphere was really lovely. I'd love to spend a whole day and enjoy the food by the river there.

Great service, friendly and good quality food and groceries all locally acquired. Relaxing along the side the road with classic automobiles and motorbikes cruising by and some stopping in. A lovely owner who has the right blend of business and customer service. Duck out the back down the stairs to the creekline and soak in the relaxing nature... and grey geese ignore your presence 😃 You must visit

We stopped in for lunch today at Cudlee Cafe and it was beautiful - we had the soup of the day (lamb and vegetable) and the Reuben toastie, both just good honest home-style (but delicious) meals, exactly what we were after on a rainy day. Followed by a tea for two and a piece of rhubarb and raspberry cake which was lovely and moist. Good value too. 5/5!

Great coffee. Great food. Lots of cool little gifts, which works well if you’re running late to your mums 60th as it’s a heavily used thoroughfare past this place. Gluten Free GF options on menu and very nice GF burger bun with my bacon and egg bun. Excellent 🍔

I love coming here, the atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming as are the staff. Food is great too. I appreciate the variety of homemade cake options, lovely teas and beautiful tea cups, and delicious weekly specials. It's a real local gem and beloved in the area. I do have a couple of suggestions though, as a regular customer, about things that could certainly be improved upon. Mainly, the plates food is served on. Time and time again I get served big meals on tiny plates, and as I try to eat food falls off the plate or there simply isn't room to cut up a meal. It's a very basic thing but makes a huge difference to the dining experience. Please, please buy new, bigger plates! Secondly, temperature consistency. Food isn't always hot, sometimes cold or lukewarm in parts that shouldn't be. (Toilets could use a more thorough and regular clean). I do understand when it's busy it's really busy! But these small things would make a brilliant difference ❤️

If you ever driven through the Hills via Gorge rd, then you've probably driven past this quaint country cafe. Well if you have, next time slam on the handbrake, pull over and pop-in to enjoy one of their many home style offerings from big breakys to burgers and cakes. Also a great place to bring the kids

Came across this cafe by chance, and enjoyed the ambience and the cuisine, all home made as I understand. Owner/Operator, great to see a small business really aiming to please patrons. Would recommend a visit.

I had heard about the famous huge scones. So when on a ride on Easter Sunday we dropped in. I ordered 1 scone and coffee. What came out was huge. I was impressed. BUT. It seemed there had been an error. Because as I was cutting and putting jam on the scone some lady came out and said Oh your ment to have one not two. She then scooped off my plate using a spatula and her fingers half of the serve saying "I'll give it to my girls as a treat". Was shocked at this rude display of service. I was under the assumption what I had on my plate was simply the "famous scone". If your staff made an error that your issue not mine and to have someone come and demand some back was the rudest thing I've come across The fact I'd already cut jammed and picked at the scone. So suffice to say. Won't be ordering scones again. Even if the one I did have was yummy. The service has put me right off this cafe
