Review Emelia's Vegetarian Restaurant - Curl Curl

Always solid food. I'm not vegetarian but I never go hungry here. Very reasonably priced. And love their smoothies and milkshakes.

I can not high recommend this healthy little spot enough. Do yourself a favour and become a regular. My order is always the same. Soya Burger without the patty, grilled mushrooms instead. Followed by the Chocolate Honeycomb Cheesecake. Perfection.

Been eating here since it opened. As a regular, I think I have had one bad experience. Great food. Friendly staff. Great restaurant vibe. You will always feel healthy after a meal at Emelia's.

Awesome little restaurant situated in the Northern Beaches. I always thought of it to be too far away until I went there and realised it actually isn't that far, nor is it in a very crowded area. Don't be fooled by the size of the restaurant as the portion sizes are big. The service is super fast and the menu is diverse. The food was tasty and they have a very diverse menu. The rolls are quite interesting and some of the combinations are quite unique. A lovely experience for sure !

I just absolutely love Emilias! Nachos roll is my fave!

Great cozy little restaurant, one of the best vegetarian restaurants I have ever eaten at. A large variety of menu options to choose from at reasonable prices. I highly recommend the Nachos, great blend of chips, sour cream and avocado. Great for an informal night out.

We had a very unpleasant evening here. We got a curry and lasagna, both meals had no flavour and poorly made. The service was average, seemed like they were rushing us to finish, and weren't friendly or smiley at all. Definitely won't come back here.

Fabulous experience. It is wonderful to find a vegetarian establishment committed to the principle of delicious vegetarian food. The food is extremely tasty, comes in large portions, and is served in a timely manner. The service is cheerful and atmosphere is light and fun. Whenever I have attended, the place is humming, a testament to its popularity. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fabulous vegetarian dining experience. Finally, a particular acknowledgement to the chef. First class menu., beautifully prepared food. Well done.

Great food, good service..... BUT, the fruit flies buzzing about non- stop and dropping into your food and wine is a real issue. so there is rotting fruit somewhere and the flies are breeding..... not confidence building on hygiene or cleanliness .Also every surface of the plates, glasses, cutlert has either water spots, a crusty film or are sticky - again cleanliness is a real issue - an inspection by health officials is long overdue.

The food is amazing and fresh, and is cooked by passionate locals. The honey comb cheese cake is to die for, and I can't go past a nacho roll after a swim at Curly.

The same menu for decades. Most meals are a bit bland. The wraps are good for an easy no fuss vegetarian meal. Would love to see something new or modern on the menu

Food is pretty good, rolls are excellent. Living only 5 minutes away I would get takeaway or eat in maybe 3 nights a week on average. However the service has become so terrible I can't pain myself to go back. The last 6 times I've gotten takeaway my order has been messed up in some way, and look the hell out cause the staff does not take it well. I've never experienced such poor customer service as I have at Emelia's. The staff is very unfriendly and act like we inconvenience them. Working in hospo I couldn't imagine acting like that towards customers. It's too bad really, a good business being sucked down by crappy staff.

Foods great and nacho rolls are amazingly delicious but can be served luke warm sometimes.
They have just started offering eftpos after a long time of not having it available which is great.
Staff can be really snoopy and unfriendly unfortunately.

Analiese. Absolutey apalled with the customer service!! There was a mix up with take away orders on our part and when I called to see what happened was spoken to like crap! Then when my boyfriend went to pick up our actual order we were told we had to pay full price for it unless he went home got the (cold) food out of the bin (which we paid for) that they would not give us our meal!
This is not the way you run a restaurant at all! I've been in hospitality for 16yrs and would never talk to or treat a customer the way we have been treated! The motto I work by is the customer is always right! Absolutely disgusted!

I have been eating at emelias for years I have tried every dish on the menu and not one complaint. Awesome service and reasonable prices 10/10

Have been going to amelia's for the past ten years, not only have the nachos roll gotten pathetically small but conveniently remain the same price - when they don't have tomato they put capsicum in it. Thoroughly disappointed

Lena. Got take-away wrap from Emelia's tonight and it was horrible. Nachos wrap was just a lump of melted cheese, sour cream and soggy lettuce.

Great Restaurant. I really enjoyed this vegetarian restaurant, we received really fast service, the food was really good!! Even the non-vegetarians really loved it!! There is lots of fresh salad served with the meal, the meals are tasty, the favourite on our table was the Nachos and the vego curry! We highly recommend this restaurant if you want a delicious meal, in a relaxed homely environment!

We absolutely Love this restaurant, we eat here regularly and get take away. The staff are very efficient, the meals are always great!! And the honeycomb chocolate cheese cake to die for!! We recommend this lovely vegetarian restaurant which has a homely feel, lots of fresh food, my favourite is the Nacho roll and Lebanese platter, tonight I am going to try the nut loaf!!

We're surprised to have read bad reviews here! We love Emelia's and are regulars - always come with our son sleeping in a big pram and are very politely accommodated. Love the nacho wrap & mushroom wrap. Quick, uncomplicated, yummy & healthy. Carob shake & honeycomb cheesecake are also winners.

People ask for a reason. Last night we were handed a sampler whilst waiting for our meal. I asked if it had coriander in it as it had lots of finely chopped green herbs in it and I know coriander is the herb of the year. The waitress checked with the chef - "no, there is no coriander in it". Started eating it to find it was all coriander. Being allergic to this, I called the waitress over and said "could you please advise the chef that this is full of coriander and I am allergic to it" to get "oh" whilst she walked off. I then sat there for the rest of the evening watching the extremely itchy lumps appear. Asking about an ingredient, to get the incorrect response, caused a night of extreme discomfort for a patron is not the way to go.

Judging by the steady "ping" of the microwave, and the taste, this is all reheated crap. Nothing has any depth of flavour and they make up for their sins by piling the plate with sour cream and cheese. I left feeling queasy, not what I would expect from a vegetarian restaurant. It has only survived so long because of the complete lack of any other restaurants on this strip. And the whole place smelt mildly but consistently of a dead hippy's fart.

Appalling. Service was rude- we could hear the waitstaff bitching when we walked in at 7:45; warned us that "kitchen was closing soon" ; had to wait ten minutes to get a can of coke; when we ordered waitstaff was unpleasant and, yet again, rude; slammed drinks down when serving.
Food- enchiladas looked like a reheated melted slab of pastry and the flavours within were repulsive.

Good if you like re heat food. Obviously vegetarians are starved for choice in the northern beaches that could be the only reason this place stays in business.

I ordered the curry at 7:30pm but they had run, so unprofessional. The garlic bred was just a massive amount of garlic from a jar spread onto Lebanese bread and microwaved, tasted awful. They forgot to bring out our drinks we had to remind them when they brought out ours mains. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Don't try it. The food here is really bad - no flavour at all. The staff are also very unfriendly boarding on rude and disinterested.
Save your money and go anywhere else.

Great to go to a vegetarian restaurant that really knows how to do great vegetarian dishes. The kids loved it and were warmly welcomed. 9/10
