Amazzzzzzzing!!!! Best fish & chips in Perth . Coming from Sydney we searched far and wide for a decent F&C's in Perth. Finally one that can cook fish properly and the right type of fish too, the batter is nice and crispy and the chips are crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. These guys know what they are doing.

The food quality was really good and the food didn't leave an oily aftertaste like most fish and chips do. The food however was a bit pricey and when i got my food it was missing a fish. however I can forgive them because most places wouldn't usually forget or misplace and i it was just an accident.
Good service, very clean. Tasty fish & chips. Stopped going when Sambo Fish & Chips were trading. !00% better now. Hope the shop prospers, Worth finding hidden behind Chinese restaurant

Best fish & chips I’ve ever had! Fish was beautiful , tasty and crispy! Chips were nice and crispy too! Friendly and efficient service too!
2nd time going to The Captains Table, absolutely loved it both times. Service is awesome and they have the best fish and chips I tried in Perth. My fussy child absolutely loves their fish 😀😀🙂

Highly recommend this for your cheeky fish and chips binge. There are a few fish and chip places in the area so we simply tried our luck here and so glad we did! The place is very clean inside, they aren't keeping food warm, they make it fresh! So it looks bare inside but that's a good thing. The fish was perfectly battered and had crisp BUT seriously not oily! They clearly have perfected the deep fry - we were so impressed now not greasy but well cooked everything was. The paper used for wrapping wasn't oily post eating. Definately try the breadcrumb calamari, we think this is a custom recipe as it certainly had a great texture and crunch and very spot on flavours. Such an understated place, we didn't even have that 'post fried food feeling' which suggests that the oil was good quality and clean plus cooked at the right temperature. Hope everyone else has a good experience here - it was such a good friday night surprise to find this local gem. We ordered 2 pieces of hake (one grilled) chip for 2 (serving was plenty and I can eat) bread crumb calamari and a crab stick. Price was cheap/equal to other, took 15 mins at 6pm on a Friday.
