Review Oro Bianco - Dandenong

Sunday, mostly eating out and this time, we decided to go with Italian. Made booking online and when we arrived for lunch, there are only two others in the restaurant. Great varierty of selections in the menu. Food wise all tasted great especially loving the pizza. The calamari was good too, but slightly more portion will be a plus. Service wise, friendly staff however kind of slow especially only two tables occupied. And may I suggest to have the chair legs wrap with socks or rubber at the base as the sound when the chairs are pull/drag is unbearable. Price wise, average of $100+ for four. For coffee lovers, a cup is definitely not enough.

Love this pizza shop! The pizzas are delicious, I've tried a few from here already. We decided to eat in this time. I got a pepperoni pizza. the drink I got was a fruit tingle. We had shared chicken bite and chips. The staff are super friendly happy and welcoming. It has a nice Wearhouse modern vibe, does not feel like your in Dandenong at all. I highly recommend getting pizza from here as you won't be disappointed

Best pizza we ever had. Very consistent in the quality of the pizza and food. Served fresh and hot. I have brought many friends and family and they can't believe the hidden gem in Dandenong. The extensive cocktail menu is a must try. Beware they are so good you will want to try them all. The sticky date cocktail is perfect for dessert. Italian donuts with Nutella are a favourite

Very good service, food is great, the only thing is on some slices of pizza it’s really salty, I don’t know if it’s an accident? But overall it’s great, we enjoyed our dinner very much!

I ordered the “cheeky chicken pizza” via Uber eats. It was the best pizza I had in a really long time. Toppings tasted very decadent. The pizza dough was cooked to perfection. The pizza was not too dry not too oily, it was perfectly cooked. So happy with it I will be returning.

Best authentic pizza I have ever had, I put it up there with Gradi. Great food, big portions, the food came out really fast. Great service, will definitely be back. My wifes favourite place to get pasta.

Toooo salty food ever!!!. Staff were friendly honestly. I have been there with family for birthday. We ordered 2 pizzas and 4 other dishes. Firstly wood fired pizzas were too salty and I didn't feel taste better from wood fired compare other Italian restaurant. Other 4 dishes were salty too. Kids didn't even eat them all. We love Italian food but we left 60% of food. I won't go back again.

The food we tried were really awesome. The calamari fry was beyond expectations which was tossed with butter peas and baby corn. Pasta must try. Pizza had real wood smoke flavour, so, it depends on taste of different folks.

Top quality wood fired pizza. A hidden gem in Dandenong for people who appts the real deal!

I’m not usually in this area, but needed a place for lunch before a meeting. This place is amazing! Staff, atmosphere and food are top notch!! The menu had so many good choices, I didn’t know what to order & I’m always a sucker for a good pizza. I ordered the small & it certainly was not small. I enjoyed every delicious bite!! ❤️

Amazing woodfire pizza & woodfire lasagne!!! The ingredients on the pizzas are such high quality.
We also shared a seafood marinara which was good but lacked a bit of flavour. Recommend to check out!

Had « high expectations » for this place given the rating but my experience was very disappointing.

Ordered for delivery pizza, pasta, chicken Parma and donuts. Pizza and chicken Parma were ok but only average as they were cold. Same for donuts.

But the pasta... I ordered carbonara with cream and it was very dry and tasted weird. How disappointing. I literally threw it away and made myself a toastie.

Putting flowers on top of everything is not a good idea.

Will not order from there again.

We had our daughters christening lunch here today, we did a set menu of pizza and pasta and was absolutely delicious, it’s perfect authentic Italian food! Our guests were raving on about how yummy the food was and staff were super attentive and helpful throughout the whole time. I cannot recommended this place enough :)

I went to Oro Bianca as part of a work lunch. I had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. I tried a bit of a colleague’s gnocchi and, again it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The coffee was great too. Not only was the food wonderful but also the service was great. They were friendly and efficient. Altogether, a great lunch that I would recommend to anybody looking for a contemporary Italian Dandenong dining experience that will feel more like Fitzroy or Carlton than in daggy Dandenong.

Great Pizzeria in Dandenong!
Great range of pizzas with that is large in portions and plenty of toppings.

They also have a brunch/lunch menu and serve coffee which is always good!

3.5
The food was actually rather good. I liked the calamari, lasagne and donuts.
Milkshakes are too small of a serve for the prices.
Pizza dough is amazing but the magic mushroom was a bit too salty.
My biggest complaint is the wait !!
Have to follow up on all courses and we were at the point if cancelling our dessert order so we could leave.

2.5
We came in for dinner one night and had the carbonara and the delicata pizza which had prosciutto, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes with a balsamic glaze. The carbonara was not my favourite , the pasta was al dente but it did not have enough flavour so the dish was a bit eggy . The pizza on the other hand was more enjoyable, a positive was they had a lot of toppings which was very generous. We did realised the pizza base seemed to be cooked separately from the prosciutto and other ingredients, I prefer everything cooked together but not a big deal

One thing did alarm us was the way the managers spoke to their staff, it was very abrupt and demeaning, as we were close to the registered we could hear everything. Staff attitude when we made payment was also concerning , you could tell morale was lacking

I had high expectations of this restaurant after reading the reviews.. but unfortunately they weren’t really met.
I ordered a variety of pizzas and they were ... ok...
it’s not authentic Italian flavours but it’s okay for take out in Dandenong.
I felt that some of ingredients could have been better quality especially for the wood fire pizza prices.
I was a bit disappointed that some of the pizzas were burnt on the bottom, it looked as though they didn’t clean the pizza base tray enough which caused the new pizza to burn on the bottom.
Overall I think the restaurant needs to touch up their pizza recipes and see which sauces/bases work with which veggies and meats on the pizzas better. And pay closer attention to detail.

Ordered the margherita pizza and it was just as good and authentic as the one I had in Naples, Italy! I was very impressed. Calamari is great too!

Well what a find in downtown Dandenong!!!

Greeted by lovely young ladies who were very friendly and helpful.

Enormous pizzas and they have that charred wood fire taste. Not too many toppings but enough for full flavour. Even have gluten free bases which I had. My only complaint was the cheese wasn’t melted enough but that is often the case when they use those bases. Disappointed I was charged for olives when I took the pancetta off.

Italian doughnuts were ok a bit chewy for my liking.

Overall the four of us were more than happy.

Will be going again.

Best pasta and pizza in town! Not your average italian fare, but far above average!
Ordered the wood fired gnocchi and wood fired meatballs - best 'real italian' I've eaten in a looong time!!! Far superior to Lygon Street. Good friendly service. Only down side is the shared male and female toilets - not nice :-(!

Finally a proper Italian pizza place in Dandenong!
Great work guys-only took one point off cause perhaps too much ham on the Capricciosa- I'll be back!

Lovely experience overall.
- the customer service was very friendly though slightly distracted.
- pizzas (ordered the carnivora and silence of the lambs) were really tasty. I do wish the base of the pizza was a bit firmer though. It was well cooked but still quite floppy.

Wish I lived closer :).

Thanks for the meal!

Ordered the meat lover and chicken pizzas

Amazing pizzas. Love the char and wood fire bases. Awesome addition to Dandenong. Just would have preferred a slightly stronger salter hit for the meat lover but that's just a preference thing.

Very genuine service and food is always of top quality, been there a few times and would rate it as one of the best in the area. Had both the pizza and gnocchi, usually really picky with these items but honestly couldn’t fault it. So glad these a proper place around South East

Friendly welcoming place. The pizzas could have done with slightly longer in the oven as the bases were a little underdone. The flavours were all there though, very tasty pizzas. The calamari was cooked perfectly, and the peas and corn were a nice touch. Staff are lovely and accommodating. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants the same. We will definitely be back.

Great place in Dandenong for pizza. The base is so soft and fluffy, loved it! Generous serves and super friendly staff! Next time I will try one of the pasta dishes :) also love that you can choose your own toppings to make your own creation! The only thing I'd add is a little bit more salt to the dough to enhance the flavour (just my personal preference)- but it is all delicious anyway!

What a great new addition to Dandenong. Great wood fired pizza with a good base and great toppings for those of you that live in the area. A good wine menu to compliment the pizza. Great menu with heaps of great options and a well thought out dessert 👌

My third time at Oro Bianco in the last 3 weeks and I love it every time. So far I’ve had their pizza (I make my own rather than choose one of the set options) and also their gnocchi. Hands down the best woodfire pizza I’ve ever had and delicious gnocchi too. Celebrated my birthday here because it was just too good and is my new favourite restaurant. Not to mention the staff are kind and accommodating, as is the male owner I met on my first visit and who now recognises me each time which makes me feel extra welcome. I have already brought lots of friends here and can’t wait to continue to do so. Highly recommend!

Dined on Sat night, coincidence it was world pizza day! Booked via the fork website previously known as Dimmi on a special 50% off food deal. Arrived but they did not have my booking, bit disappointing as had both confirmation & reminder from fork website about my booking on my phone, luckily they found us a table upstairs so all good. I ordered the silence of the lambs pizza. Delicious, I loved the flavours of the lamb, eggplant & pomegranate. Service friendly. Will return to try other menu items & to enjoy the lamb pizza again.

No fuss authentic Italian pairing fresh produce and friendly service in the heart of Dandenong! Pizzas had just the right amount of topping and the dough was good but would've benefited from cooking a teeny bit longer in the oven.
Chicken Little pizza was okay but the chicken was a little dry. Would order the Carnivora again no doubt! Lasagne and linguine were delicious too and dare I say preferred over pizza? Maybe.
You can tell the staff love what they do and it shows through the food. If quality continues as it is now I'll definitely be a regular :)

New and welcome addition to Dandenong, started off with Calamari and the baked meatballs, both faultless, meatballs were still medium through the middle and the calamari tender with a nice hit of chilli through out the peas and baby corn.
The pizza we opted for was the Chicken and the Lamb, the chicken one was good, the lamb one was amazing, I love the addition of pomegranate arils to add a sourness to it. The pizza bases were light and fluffy with nice air pockets.
The service here needs a special mention, they are the nicest people and genuine and enthusiastic about this new venture. I highly recommend a visit here for anyone.

Went here for lunch and got the Carnivora and the babe pizza, both were delicious! The customer service is also exceptional! Will definitely be returning.

I love this place. Great food, coffee, decor and atmosphere. Megan one of the owners was so welcoming and passionate about her business. Looking forward to having a drink on the rooftop bar as well. Really happy to have found this gem!

I was excited to read this menu as it reads authentic Italian and I was pleased when we received our order. I was most impressed by the pasta which was cooked perfectly and I love pasta that isn’t drowning in sauce (which is hard to find this side of the city..) definitely worth a try if you love real Italian food.

The pizzas and lasanga were delicious. The dough was light and fluffy and toppings were on point. I saw the balcony and it's definitely a place I'll be doing after work drinks! Thanks guys. Awesome work!!
BUONISSIMO! A newcomer in the emerging Dandenong food scene doing traditional italian style wood fire pizza. As a first generation italian, I'm always very skeptical when it comes to italian food, as nonna always knows best.

I'm a traditionalist, so hard not to go with the margarita and oh boy did it deliver! The pizza was spectacular, it had a perfect base and crust, beautiful flavours, high quality ingredients and the right amount of salt and - the best part - olive oil.

Dandenong hasn't had a good italian restaurant for some time, and I'm very glad Oro Bianco has set itself up. It's not always an easy start in this city, which has suffered from poor public perception for a long time, but the food scene and the city is booming and as a local with a lot of history here, I absolutely suggest that you make your way here to support good new businesses.

On a final note, the staff are really friendly, the menu has some good variation, and the coffee is tight.
