Thanks guys finally I found you in north dandenong. We first time we tried this pizza we fell in love with it thanks guys keep up the good work
The food and the service are both always fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Eating in or takeaway both are great
During times like this when it’s advised to stay at home and you’re also craving wood fired pizza, I thank Strada for being open. So glad there’s a wood fired pizza delivery as an option and extra glad that it tastes great. Perfect crunchy crust and good amount of toppings.
Would recommend. ✅
Can’t wait to eat in the restaurant when the virus situation calms down.
Kinda just walk in, take a seat and someone will serve you. Pizzas were nice. Cozy, casual ambiance.
Delicious wood fired pizzas! Worth dining in to have it straight out of the oven 😛 I tried the Sicilian and really enjoyed it. In my experience wood fired pizzas don’t have much toppings but this place is generous with the toppings 👍🏼 Would come back again!
Delicious, traditional Italian pizza. The boys are absolutely wonderful and very entertaining. Zomato gold had no restrictions and the service was very good! Very affordable and we'll priced for the quality and serving size. Very pleased to have found a woodfire pizza joint in the south east. Definitely coming back soon!
Great and friendly service and delicious pizza. We visited this spot on Wednesday so it was not very busy. Best pizza spot in Dandenong. Ambiance is also great. The lady was so patient and explained ingredients and modified as our wish. We will visit again for sure with my friends soon.
They’ve got the bestttt pizza in Melbourne and the nicest people. They put tons of love into the food and it shows!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
I found a hidden gem in Dandenong this little place in Dandenong offers the best wood fired pizza in Dandneong great pizza and great staff
When there's Pizza this good around the Greater Dandenong area, there's no need to go to Lygon Street!
Second time ordering from here and their pizza game is on point!
Who needs to go to Naples for traditional pizza?
Great little hidden gem in Dandenong North! Really tasty traditional woodfired Pizza, great flavour and lots of toppings aswell! We had the Meat lovers and the Dia Vola. Server also recommended to try chilli oil to dip the crust, and what a great reccomendation! Very friendly, inviting atmosphere, also dining with Italian music in the background and even Daniel the Owner/Pizzaiolo singing! The staff were very friendy and accomodating. I would highly recommend to come here for yummy, affordable Pizza and drinks! Will definately be coming back!
Fantastic service!! The boys made us feel at home and were very friendly and approachable. The food was fantastic; that beautiful and authentic woodfire flavour is enough to instil warmth in everyone! We ordered the alla norma and the Nutella pizza for dessert.
Such a local gem with a variety of vegetarian and halal options too. I hope this place continues to thrive :) will spread the word and come back for sure!
It’s difficult to find authentic pizzas in Melbourne but this place definitely brings some taste of Italy 😊 You can tell they use quality products and the pizzaiolo knows how to make a real pizza. Keep up the good work!
First time getting pizza from here, loved the toppings, everything was made perfectly. The Diavola pizza was my favorite, definitely going there again
Been going to this place for a while now and the experience has just been amazingly better every time I visit here. People running the restaurant are great and pizzas are just my favourite in the whole city of Melbourne.
Recently ordered pizzas to be delivered at 16:45 at my work and what a service. We had it delivered right at 16:45 with a great taste as some places might not have the same taste when delivering the food!
I would recommend this place to more people than what I already have. Check it out peeps!!
I came here to takeaway some pizzas for a quick Sunday dinner fix and I must say, I wish I dined in for this one. These pizzas here are so authentic I felt so bad keeping it in a pizza box for ten minutes when it should have been eaten right away🤤 But I was quite hangry and didn’t consider those beautiful pizzas getting cooler and sticking to the box😭! Nonetheless, our pizzas were still warm and the texture of handmade dough was still there 😍 I loved the fresh ingredients they used in our pizza and how simple these pizzas look and yet it is SO MUCH BETTER than many other pizza joints around this area! I have never been to Italy yet but I reckon I won’t need to go Italy for pizzas after finding this place 😉🍕🍕🍕
Thank you guys for the lovely pizza and I hope to see you guys soon to try other traditional pizzas😁
Really good pizza. Area is probably not the greatest for exposure but it’s a hidden gem. Pizza toppings are high quality and fresh. Can’t really fault it
Satisfying and flavoursome pizza, but their service is very slow. Waited ages for our pizza. I appreciate that they’re ensuring everything is as fresh as possible, but during peak times all they need to change is to stretch and knead the dough on pizza trays in advance (obviously keep covered) so they’re ready to go rather than doing it one by one when orders come in. Either that, or get faster at doing it!
Finally came across a pizza place that puts real love in their food, so glad I decided to order here. Very friendly staff, food was awesome! Will definitely be ordering again.
KEEP IT UP!
Tried them out the other day .. got the halal option pepperoni pizza with thin crust .. awesome local pizzas ... cudnt have asked for anything better ... highly recommended
The pizzas are amazing, yummy and so close to home! The service was great and the loyalty card is an extra bonus! Will be going back and recommending this to all my friends!
Took my dog out to the doggo park last night and decided to stop by this place for take away pizza as I already knew about this place but never actually ate there.
Trying to find a good wood fired pizza joint can sometimes be tough when you live in the suburbs.
But the pizza here is excellent.
The sauce is on point;
The dough is fluffy yet thin;
The mozzarella was super stretchy and absolutely divine (reminds me of the stretchy mozzarella in suppli’... but you gotta be Italian, and from Rome, to know this last point 😉).
All in all, YES I will definitely go back.
Glad I don’t have to go to the city for decent pizza now.
Well done!
Got pizza here the other night for the first time. Must say it really is the best pizza in the entire Dandenong area and up there as one of the top in the south east. The pizza was incredibly full of flavour, topping amount was perfect, sauce was incredibly good and the perfect amount of cheese. My only negative which isn't going to reduce the 5 I am giving them is the base became a little soggy towards the end of eating it, the base itself is beautifully thin and the edges fluffy and crisp. I look forward to trying more pizza flavours from here. Customer service was fantastic too, really welcoming and friendly.
Pizzaiolo, not a Chef. That’s what Daniel Cester asked me to address him when I asked him if he was a professionally trained Chef. That was a new one for my vocabulary and just like most of you now, I did a quick Google search!!. When I first received a mail regarding this new pizzeria that has opened up in Dandenong North, I was ecstatic, surprised yet a bit saddened by the fact that I no longer live in the suburb. If you have followed my journey here, you would know that I consider myself a self proclaimed food ambassador of sorts for Dandenong. My life in Australia started there and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to pursue my food dreams.
Where do I even start! I came to Pizza Strada & Bar tonight after reading reviews on Zomato. I’m a wood fire pizza lover so thought I’d give it a try! And i can safely say it is the best wood fire pizza on this side of Melbourne, it’s a very relaxed environment and friendly workers (family owned). I’ll be definitely returning back next time for more. I highly recommend this if you love wood fire pizzas like Gradi/DOC but half the price and equally as good! I hope this business does well :) p.s you guys should get some music playing & some Strada T-Shirts!
Really enjoyed the pizza, dough is made with craft and love. Second time I had it, the tomato sauce was a tad salty but still amazing flavours.
The best wood fire pizza I’ve come across in Melbourne! It’s become a staple in my diet. The Mediterranean inspired pizzas are a nice change from regular toppings (the Sicilliano is a must!) but I just can’t shy away from the Naples classic - Margarita Napolitana. Looking forward to the Bar opening!
Hands down the best wood oven pizzas this side of the city. Actually the pizzas strada serves up probably rivals most pizza joints even in the city. Have tried their pizzas 3 times now and every time I have been left nodding my head thinking how impressed I am. The ingredients are fresh and the crust is cooked to perfection. Each pizza we have tried, and that’s nearly all of them, has had a distinct unique flavour. Hope this place sticks around for years to come. The prices are very reasonable as well, 2 thumbs up. Definitely give them a go. Sure to please.
A well long deserved new addition located in the thriving heart of Dandenong North, sits this wonderful pizza joint. Room to sit, or even take-away, I love their endless pizza opportunities that they offer on the menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive as that's a big win for me, I'm very impressed with the quality of the sauces and ingredients they use on the wood fired pizzas. I don't even reckon there's another wood fired pizza place in Dandenong North. This is definitely a big win for me, hats off to the chef for doing such a wonderful job.
