Review Chilli India - Dandenong

Visited the restaurant the first time today. Requested for meals with no onion or garlic. Can you imagine only one item was available on the menu to cater for that. The place is not hygienic the staff some don't speak or understand english. Food was tasteless. The crockery cutlery and table was not clean. What is the Melbourne Health Department doing. Shut this place and fine the owners. Never go there again nor recommend it to anyone.

The authenticity ends here of Indian taste, I was a fan of Vegetable Briyani and these guys messed it up with the real mean of it. The staff itself seems to be lame and not concerned about the customer feedback, I hope nothing can done and these guys will loosing customers or not sure if builds up.. Good on you guys, never see you again!

Ordered the chilli chicken with some veg n roti, the chicken was 2 pieces of bones with gravy with chilli, virtually no chicken flesh. I told the waiter, and he just shrugged his shoulder n said I should have had something else. Won't be going back. I should have just bought a bottle of hot chilli sauce to dip my roti into.

Went here with a discount voucher from Woolies. I'm not certain if it was for $7.90 or $7.50, but I showed the voucher, made the order and chose a seat. The food was ok, but the service was very stand offish, borderline rude. Instead of a can of Pepsi I asked for a diet drink or water. "This is all that is included with the voucher" "Ok" As I went to leave, they reminded me to pay. I had forgotten because I normally pay up front and they'd collected the voucher. I apologised and asked if it was $7.50 and gave correct change. Server accepted, but then said he would check, and announced it was $7.90 so he gave me back my change and I gave him a $10 note. He gave me two coins and I thanked him. I checked the two coins as I walked away and noticed they were $1 and five cents. They should have been $2 and ten cents. I had apologised with the $10 note and said next time I'd bring the correct change. But there will never be a next time. I can give the Pepsi away.

Paid $26 for two pieces of goat and three tiny pieces of chicken in watery curry sauce. You can imagine the disappointment when I got home. I am NOT coming back ever!

Poor quality of food. Butter chicken was lame and gravy was as thin as water. Garlic roti was too much garlic. Disappointing experience.
