Review The Mango Tree - Dandenong

On of the WORST food and customer service we have ever experienced! Let me just say the food was almost ice cold and smelt like it sat there most of the day. There was more bones in curry than meat, rotti was cold and like rubber. The health department needs to look into this place!

Mango tree is one of the finest Sri Lankan restaurants in Melbourne. Their food is always good in quality and quantity. I personally recommend their Kottu and Snacks. Their string copper is also yummy. The price is also reasonable. Device could be improved as there is always a delay. Highly recommended!

Awesome food, rice with 4 type of veg curries in 8:50 and with one no veg curry 9:50, delicious yummy food very affordable price 🥰 I love chicken and dal so yummy. It’s near by my office and used go frequently 😄

Ever popular place we got when in Dandenong, the place has great srillankan food. We tried their meals with two vegetarian, fish and meats option. The yam dish was superb, the yellow dal was fabulous. The spicy devilled chicken taste was good but a hit hard to chew ☹️. The fish curry was enjoyable, the lamb curry had mostly bones and less meat. The two parotta was soft and fluffy. The egg parotta which costed 1.50 was a big disappointment. We missed the desserts as they ran out. The ambience is great but a small place. The Sunday we went over a long weekend was quite empty. We will go and eat again. 👍🙏

This is my 1st time visit. Ordered chicken roll, chicken fried rice, chicken curry, egg roti, plain roti. Food was amazing, specially fried rice & chicken roll. I loved it. Definitely will order next time.

I little but warm place. If you are up to spicy food this is the place to visit in Dandenong. Has a good and cheap menu, with one $12 dish you can eat and share with a friend.

Ordered a Lamb biryani last night via Uber eats. Instead of the biryani sent me a rice and curry pack. Sack ur chef there's no dhal curry on a biryani.

Seriously delicious and authentic Sri Lankan food. The serving sizes are extremely generous. Definitely value for money. I can't wait to go here again.

This restaurant is shocking when it comes to customer service. There is one particular female worker that is rostered on a Tuesday and she is very rude and gives you a minimum serving. Many people I work with have experienced this. This issue has been brought to her attention however there has been no improvement. I’ll be going to Colombo from now on for a Sri Lankan meal.

This is a great place to grab an inexpensive no fuss meal. The food is hot, delicious and tasty - there’s lots of veg and non-veg options available.

Thanks to AmEx shop small, we got to try the food at this fabulous Sri Lankan restaurant. The curries are tasty and meals are very value for money. Especially enjoyed the spicy chicken, lamb curry and okra curry. Rotis need to be warmer though. Girl at the counter was very patient and helpful.

We were travelling towards Melbourne after our weekend trip and stopped by to get some food. The lady serving us was extremely arrogant to us and don't know how to behave with customers. Not at all recommended.

Kothu rotti. The kothu rotti is very good! One of the best I've had in melbourne

Cheap but good. I've only been here once and it was for a late dinner. The range of options were pretty good, the servings were generous but not sure if it was because they were drawing closer to closing time. The food tasted nice and the staff member helpful. I didn't appreciate the way he handled my eating utensils with his fingers. What are handles for huh? Yes, I would dine there again but would watch him with the fork handling.
