Review Red Rooster - Dandenong

No marks for telling how delicious the food is at Nando’s.. but I love eating at the Nando’s at Eastland Shopping Centre.. why? You get to seat in the balcony to avoid having the indoors restaurant kinda feeling (see photo).. The quality and taste of the sweet potato fries definitely deserves a special mention (see photo).. Staff is excellent, lovely… There’s a play area just next to it so you don’t have to worry about keeping your kids busy until you’re waiting for the food..

I have been to Nando’s in Eastland many times and most of the time the staff got something wrong…it’s either missing items in the bag, which I ordered and paid for, cold food, burnt food. I had to bring food home and go back because my sides were missing. This time it was severely burnt food. How can a business think it’s ok to serve their customer severely burnt food such as the corns in the picture??? I have read others comments posted here and I wonder WHY is the management not taking any action regarding their staff training? Are they really that careless about customer service?

I asked them not to burn the chicken, still did , not as much to other customers though. The grill had flames visibly in excess, other customer's chicken had their food really burnt. They should lower the fire in the grill and cook the food properly, not rushed and damage the Nando's name and customer's experience

Just order takeaway, never dine in. We had a party of 9. Besides 3 plates and 2 glasses. Everything else we had was filthy. It seemed like the cutlery, dishes and glasses were rinsed with some water and they called it a day on cleaning. The food was good and timely. Everything was well seasoned and cooked. Our chicken was not dry, and the chips were nice. but still I couldn't get over the fact that I couldn't REALLY enjoy it since I knew everything around me was dirty. Seems to be a trend with a lot of Nando's to have unclean utensils and such, but this one was just particularly bad.

I ordered 1 whole Chicken for takeaway, so i sit on the waiting area, like 2mins Chicken is already, wow! And when I came home the Chicken looks recook and when u taste it it mix a little spicy and burn. I ordered Bbq that time always i ordered Chickenis burn. . Oh wait the front girl who's taking orders, when u go to nandos u feel not good vibes, especially the girl in front mygosh, little bit annoying b. 🤦‍♀️

I come to nandous ever week and enjoy my meals very much. It's the highlight of my week. Every morning I wake up and think "why aren't I dead yet?" Then I remember, Friday nights=Nandou nights.

Quick service, friendly staff and chicken is always nicely cooked and full of flavour
