Review Fire On Lonsdale Woodfire Pizza - Dandenong

Abbas Ullah
A large pizza (it's actually a small to medium size) costs $14. You'd think you're going to have the best pizza in the south east but turns out the base is hard like a toasted pita bread and the toppings are tasteless and scarce. I do not recommend this place. The best pizza I know of in the south east and trust me I've been to most of them is Noble Calzones.

This is absolutely a horrible pizza place I've ever come across. We ordered a Tandoori Pizza for the delivery. It was full of processed chicken with nothing gourmet in it and moreover it tasted absolutely off. We called up the restaurant to make a complaint and the owner said that he won't refund the money as the pizza doesn't come from KMART and don't give me a headache go away lady. We contracted EatNow and without a surprise, the owner of the shop was rude to them as well and refused any conversation about the delivery. EatNow advised to write a review. We are also reporting this shop to the Dandenong Council as well under the food and health safety provision as it's just not appropriate to compromise the health of your customers as we come having trust in your restaurant and we don't want to end up in a hospital just because your restaurant sells off food. NEVER AGAIN! HORRIBLE RESTAURANT! WORST EVER PIZZAS!!

Pizza here is garbage, the red gum wood burning in his pizza oven is a waste of good wood. Gourmet Salmon pizza = tinned salmon :-( Save your money and dont waste your time getting pizza from this place you will be disappointed and feel sick.

Overpriced, poor quality toppings that no one in the family could eat. Extremely rude service when I called to complain about the revolting cubed, processed chicken on a "gourmet" pizza. Completely inedible. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Incredible customer service, the workers spoke VERY politely. I would highly suggest going to this pizza shop! Low price, incredible food, incredible customer service. 5 stars.

Worst service.... I ordered 25$ deal that includes 2 large pizzas, garlic bread and 1.25L coke. I got small can of coke, I paid that driver and rang these guys and they said... which deal?? Which website?? Lol at least admit your mistake guys...

One of the best Pizzers in town so far well done guys keep up the good work

I would give this zero if I could. Worst pizza I have ever tasted and that includes the cardboard you get out of a box. So disappointed.
I thought Melbourne was meant to have good food but either people don't know what good food is or they like to give good reviews to really bad places so shmucks will go there and be truly disappointed.

I really like the "special range", every bite is amazing and they're very generous with the toppings unlike most places these days. Really nice flavour combinations and never had a burnt pizza base. If you don't know which pizza to get try the "lot" pizza and trust me it'll knock your socks off!
They take a couple mins longer than your typical pizza shop and its usually because of the wood fire oven so call in advance if you're in a hurry.

If you like rude customer service, flouro lighting, ugly decor, and overpriced, tasteless pizza, this is the restaurant for you!

The service was rude; the lady kept giving me a strange look from the moment we walked in. I could not understand what the lady was saying while we were ordering, when we sat down to wait for our order we could hear someone hocking up flegm. The pizza was on the pricey side considering the poor quality and lack of flavour (all I could taste is an odd garlic flavour that wasn't like propper woodfired pizza at all). I won't be returning to this restaurant.
Not bad, not bad at all. I dont know why everyones complaining so much, i ordered a supreme and a peperoni pizza, i enjoyed it...it wasnt bad yet it wasnt the best pizza ive had. I do admit the base was a little chewy however i enjoyed the topping and that hint of smokey flavor. This place would be in my list of pizza places to come back again.

Worst pizza I've ever had in my life!. Worst dough, cheap ingredients, no flavour, no taste. Considering they have a wood-fire oven it is a real shame they don't know how to make pizza. It's no surprise as to why there was no customers inside.

Not great. Pizza crust was thick when we requested thin, and it was chewy and hard to eat. Bit overpriced too, considering you can buy a much better pizza for way less. It was really disappointing considering the high rating on Urbanspoon. My friend also claims it used to be amazing - perhaps a recent change of management/chefs? Anyway, I most likely won't be returning

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!. The manager of the Pizza shop was so incredibly rude on the phone. He screamed and refused to deliver to our address, saying we were unreliable- despite us NEVER having ordered before and offering to pay credit card over the phone. I have never experienced worse customer service and would NEVER EVER order from this place.

Not bad. Good base and decent topping. however no real 'woodfire' smoky taste

TERRIBLE! I'm sorry but the supermarket sells better pizzas. Virtually no topping and wood fire flavor wasn't that noticeable. Do yourself a Favour and go anywhere else!! Fire on Lonsdale made my blood boil with frustration

Awesome. Everytime I go, the people are nice and the Food is GREAT! You can taste the flavour of every ingredient.

Very poor quality pizza no taste crust was hard to chew and arrived cold. First & last time I buy from fire on Lonsdale.

Wow, this is the worst pizza ever, its cold, the topping r below average and the bases r like waxed cardboard!!!! i only got pizza from here because my usual pizza place was rude to me last time.
i think i will put up with poor service for good pizza.

One of the best pizzas ive ever had ( vegetarian with extra mushrooms and bbq sauce) highly recommended speedy delivery

While ordered on a Saturday night, the delivery took over an hour and a phone call to arrive. A meal that was $27 went up to $38 for delivery ($5) and extra cheese on two pizzas?!?! Pizza was ok but not a great smoky woodfire taste and not worth the long wait for. The ingredients appeared fresh. Especially for the cost and looong wait, there are much better options out there.

Nice pizza with nice toppings. Fairly priced too ($12 for a large traditional), really nice crispy base (or you can also choose thick). I recommend it

Great pizzas :) the hot & spicy had a great kick to it unlike a lot of other pizzas that say they are "hot". Also these guys deliver to Dandenong hospital maternity ward ;) bonus points here guys

Yum. Just tried this place the other day and it was the best wood fire pizza in the area! will be recommending it to as many people as possible! not to mention the two men working there were really nice which was a pleasant surprise :)

Great tasting pizza but very small size. I ordered 2 large and it was as though it was a medium. Very disappointed about serving but tasts great ...

Wood fired Pizza. I totally disagree with the last review. We are one of their customers all the way from Narre Warren. Its one of the best pizza shops we have tried in the South-Eastern suburbs.

Mate, go check your teeth by the dentist because there's nothing wrong with the pizza base... People like you put businesses down by their BIG LIES.
Pocketrocket
Pizza base was so chewy nearly ripped my teeth out and asked for extra olives and counted 5 on the whole pizza

Too bad 'large' is the largest pizza they offer. Great tasting pizza. the ingredients are fresher than the..umm.. other 'halal' pizza place around the corner. The only thing is that this place doesn't serve 'family' size, only large. Have only tried the 'supreme' pizza. Curious to try their gourmet range next.

Excellent good quality pizza. Not oily, heaps of fresh tasty topping. Takes a little longer but well worth the wait!

Delicious. This is the best pizza place in Dandenong. Not too oily, perfect amount of fresh ingredients. Good menu, especially the gourmet pizzas. Definitely have it again.

=D FINALLY A GOOD PIZZA JOINT!!!. Love this pizza joint after trying it today...so filling after eating a large pizza and it actually tastes good as well :)

Ordered a large bbq chicken pizza for $12...that's pretty cheap and smells like a wood-fired pizza as well, say goodbye to dominos and pizza HAHAHA

Service wise was average but it was a speedy pizza under 10mins :)
