Rupinderpal Chahal
Pakwan Indian Restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic Indian cuisine that is sure to please your taste buds. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. I highly recommend Pakwan Indian Restaurant to anyone looking for a great Indian dining experience.

Awesome food, even got takeaway the following week! Even the leftovers are delicious the next day! Fluffy nan bread can't go wrong 🤤🤤

This is our fav local Indian joint. Servings look small but are very filling. Everything is always beautiful and very well priced. We normally end up spending only $18 per person over a very full belly. The staff are super friendly and attentive too.

This was an amazing place with really great food as soon as we ordered we got it in under 10 minutes, it also offers a variety of options for food and drinks, Amazing place recommended for others.

Did not complete the order and I had to travel personally to pick up an incomplete order. Did not even have the courtesy to say sorry and in fact was rude on the phone, when I called in to question it….terrible terrible people and service. Do not go here ..terrible service

Fantastic food, ambience and value for money. We loved everything about our experience and hope to come again. Can't speak highly enough about the value for money with the Set Menu.

Waited two hours for an order. I called them to see what was taking so long as I live local. Apparently they don't receive notifications for their online order service. Not much use then is it? Happily took my 60$ however. I wonder what would have happened if I didn't call...

When the food did come it was sub standard. No sorry's, no extras no discount. Not good enough.

So impressed with this place! The food was so delicious & the portion size was really generous! The customer service was also fanastic. I'm vegan & they took a really great care in serving me delicious vegan food (the pumpkin masala & coconut rice were my favourites).
Although I live over half an hour away, I will definitely be back for more. So glad I found this hidden gem!

Highly recommend!

We ordered the lunch special and a samosa chaat. First time to try it out. Medium spice, with a chicken and lamb curry, two naan and basmati rice. I love spice. I loved this food and this meal. It's in a humble place in dandenong but amazingly i feel like I'm eating like a king. Can't wait to come back.

Although the ambience is good, we usually pick up food. Service is always good. Staff is friendly. Prices are average. And the best seekh kabab we have eaten is here. Gravies are not bad. We have been regulars since 3 years and definitely recommend this place.

just ordered 3 different curries n is so not worth the wait. 1.vindalloo curry which asked to be cooked medium but was mild sweet same as the butter chicken was so sweet it so didn't taste like actual curry as for the goat curry don't even go there more gravy n 7 meat bones seriously is that how you pack a $11 dollar meal for take away it is really unsatisfactory standard for that kind of serving for a take away.Heard from a friend u your food was great but really not n when I phoned in to complain about the goat curry being just 7 meat n gravy the lady say to me oh really seriously ur customer service is crap to.Told she will ask the chef like seriously is the chef packing the meals up... really disappointed customer right now.

Bad experience. Garlic naan was brought with garlic paste topping. OMG! Do you know what a garlic naan looks like? I guess No.
None of the curries were appealing to us and Deserts were also a disappointment. Ambience and seatings were below average.

An average Indian restaurant for a quick curry fix in Dandenong.

We opted for the Family combo which is a rather large spread and quite economical too. Service was a bit slow so the staff bought out samosas and hara kebab with chutneys and pappads, courtesy the restaurant while we waited for the food.

Then came the kebab platter; average fair which I would be happy to skip the next time.

For mains, it was naan and vegetable rice with butter chicken masala, rogan josh, mixed vegetable curry and Malabar prawn curry. The rogan josh was good while the butter chicken and prawn curry were too sweet. Enjoyed the mixed vegetable curry.

For drinks, we got the salted lassi which was really delicious and highly recommended for the summer.

The meal ended with traditional Indian sweets which again was average.

Overall, average food and service.

Absolutely appalling if I could give this restaurant and Delivery hero a Zero I would! Their service was shocking to say the least. My order was due in a hour of ordering, which is suitable, 15 minutes after the stated time of arrival, I had no heard anything from them. So I called the restaurant directly, they advised me that the driver left 40 mins ago! 40, so my food had been sitting in his car for 40 minutes? I was appalled, but as I was assured he wouldn’t be far and was advised if the food was cold I could call back and they we would come to a conclusion. After patiently waiting another 20 mins, I was fed up and called the restaurant and requested a refund. They asked me to wait a further 10 mins, which I refused. My food had now been sitting in a car for over an hour, that’s actually a danger period as advised by the Victorian Government. Then they proceed to inform me that I have to call Delivery Hero directly to receive a refund – even though this was entirely their fault. When I did call Delivery hero they advised it will take 2-3 business days for my money to be refunded. So I received no food, no apology and will take 2-3 days to get my money back. Great deal. Absolutely disgusted by both these companies.

We'll be visiting again. A friend from NSW and I visited tonight after reading the reviews. We did a banquet ($30 per person) the quality of the food was great and the taste of each dish was sensational. There was plenty of food with each dish and we were so full afterwards!! The staff were friendly and accommodating.
I can't wait to try their lunchtime specials. Will definitely be back

Went here for dinner last night - beautiful food, such friendly helpful service (a real stand out actually) and good value. We ended up buying extra to take home with us. Potato and eggplant was delicious and samosas were lovely. We'll be back - great find.

Delicious. I had walked past the shop front of this restaurant a few times and pretty much ignored it until some work colleagues suggested I give it a try because the food was delicious. Some friends and I dined in for lunch and had the lunch special. 2 curries, raita, salad, pappadum, roti bread and rice. They were right it was delicious and a good deal for $15 I thought. The presentation was fantastic, the service was friendly and helpful. I'll definatley be back

Great!! One of the best!. Had dinner there a few days ago and the food was just fantastic! As was the service and the presentation. It is a little more costly than most Indian places, but you can see why with the quality of the food that was made. Only difficulty is that it is a bit hard to see from the main road, so took a bit to find it. The staff are also very friendly and flexible.
