A cool spot for a bite to eat. We were there for dinner. Mainly seafood to choose from, but also Asian and things like burgers, chips, etc. We were there to see the tug boats return from guiding a ship out of the harbour. It's a pretty good spot for a sunset shot with parts of Darwin city in the shot. Parking can be a problem when it's busy, but there's overflow parking next to the Convention Centre. For the duration of the dry season, the ferris wheel is operating. Next to it, there's a bar and Cafe which I assume is for customers going on the ride.

Its 33°C here today at the beginning of Winter. The Port Darwin and Waterfront walking paths are exceptional with open paths and access to drinking water and many historical information sights that really are very well presented. Stokes Hill has an historically significant history from the time of surveying and settlement and of course during WW2 and Cyclone Tracy. But before that for thousands of years organised clans of Indiginous people of The Saltwater lived here and that is what I enjoy the most. Looking out over the ocean here is good to have a map to get a real insight into the neighbouring islands and countries abroad.

Great place to walk around and experience the culture and some great places to eat. There is also the RFDS to check out, a wonderful way to learn about the Darwin bombings of WW11.

RFDS and bombing of Darwin was so interesting. Well put together virtual reality and lots to see and do. Restaurants were good and the view was wow feeding fish off the wharf what a great experience

Great area to visit. Variety of food and cold beers is a must as it’s bloody hot and sweaty in Darwin and one of my favourite places to chill and relax with fabulous views.. I really enjoy this part of Darwin.
