What a dinner! Even though we were the only table in the restaurant, it was a great experience, and the food tasted amazing.
They were pretty busy with takeaways.
Portions perfect size, and the Japanese rice lager tasted great too. Definitely will go back.

Great atmosphere, great entertainment and tasty food. Friendly effective service, pays attention to everyone, engages everyone at the table to participate in achievable tasks for young and old. The menu is a little pricy, but the Mbiance is worth it. Ask the owners about there history and you will be amazed. The sake gemai is sweet and tasty, the lamb and duck are tasty, it just needs a little sweet to finish the meal. Great venue for kids birthday.

Oka Teppanyaki is an incredible place to eat, relax, and have a great time. Frank and Jose do an excellent job making everyone feel welcome and Nick is an excellent and entertaining chef. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in Darwin looking for great food and an awesome atmosphere.

I went there tonight and the service was appalling. We got our food out (a combination of main and entre) in bits and pieces, the staff couldn't keep track of it, drinks were served last and myself abd other patrons were actually retrieving drinks sitting at the bar because we would have waited a lifetime to get them otherwise. We sat 3 at two small tables and a waitress asked to take the second table (plenty of room to put extra tables in there) we refused because 3 of us couldn't fit with our food on one small table. The food was burnt, i ordered the chicken teriyaki which tasted of charcoal. None of us was impressed with our food. The waitress offered me a second cocktail free as a consolation. We normally go to the rapid cafe where the food and service is amazing. We will never go back to this place.

We took our son and his mate for a birthday dinner. We were a little worried as they are both picky eaters, but they demolished everything. Good was sensational, steak melted in the mouth, chicken flavor was perfect. Chef was hilarious and made the experience unforgettable. Pricey but worth it.

The absolute best evening!! My first time there and the best thing is, it's in walking distance! The food was incredible! Our chef entertained us all wonderfully and the atmosphere was the best! Will definitely be returning and put this restaurant in my top 5 in Darwin!
