Lovely relaxed location at the end of wharf. Great seafood and very friendly staff.
Like the rest of Darwin restaurants, the wine list was limited and expensive for very average wine.
Friendly service & attentive. We all enjoyed our meals. Nice south Australian wine 2015 too. We were there early in the evening. Prices reasonable. Previous reviews not great, maybe because it was high season, still busy night that we were there.
Really fresh and well cooked seafood at a reasonable price. And a great location to boot! But you have to get past the really cheap places to get here lol
Great view and location. We were in Darwin for one night and was told it's a must do, so we visited. The staffs were very friendly. We had multiple waitress serving us and it got a bit confusing. They took our orders about 3 times because they haven't worked out who was going to look after us. The food was average and a bit of a mix. We had the kilpatrick oysters and croc on skewers for entree. The oyster didn't seem fresh which was disappointing but the croc was delicious. The lobster was great. They overcooked my steak but I didn't complain since it is technically not their speciality. The portions are very generous and well priced.
This was by far the best meal we had while in Darwin. The delux platter for two was huge! With once whole lobster and more! Only $130 it's worth getting!
This is the second time we've been - the last was about 3 years ago. The seafood is still amazingly fresh and the staff are still so lovely. We want to go back before we leave Darwin again and I know we'll go back when we're next up this way.
Such a beautiful location overlooking the wharf and water. Great spot on a nice warm evening especially right before sunset. We ordered an assortment - prawns, barramundi (a must), squid etc and absolutely nobody complained. The only thing I would love is a bit more flavour on the chips! Salt and vinegar or chicken salt? All in all a great spot though
We had a great meal of local wild caught barramundi, perfectly cooked. If you are ever in Darwin, definitely visit Crustaceans, you won't be disappointed. The staff are friendly and efficient. I'd recommend booking as it is always busy.
First thing we noticed when we arrived was the sunset and fresh breeze. The greeted by a friendly waiter who first took us to our seat and took our drinks order. Chatting as we desided. Few minutes later it arrived and we gave our meals order. Cider with large glass of ice, just the way it should be. Quicker then id expect our starters came first and the kids meals. Fresh oysters, yum. Table cleared and mains arrived. Lobster and steak for me and bug and steak for my wife. Both perfectly cooked (medium) and just amazing. This resturant from arrival to paying the bill just got better and better. Very well priced seafood and steak.
Great fresh seafood, nice environment and a real coastal feel. The food is fresh out of the water and the chefs definitely know how to prepare and cook seafood.
Catch of the day barramundi was massive in size and flavour, the meat was fresh and fell off the bone, the fresh kale complimented the meal perfectly.
I highly recommend this restaurant, it did not disappoint!
It's a beautiful location especially at sunset. I was impressed with the seafood platter for two despite the price. Delicious! It did feel like it was understaffed though. Everyone seemed rushed off their feet and racing around. It was very difficult to get service for drinks without going to the bar. But overall a good night.
Sat night, busy but slow slow service. Food was however delicious. Party of four and we had a variety of hot and cold dishes. All seafood was great. Sides pretty ordinary- but if is after all not why one goes there!
The best chilli mud crab I've had outside of Singapore, my wife's grilled local banana prawns with house made lemon butter dipping sauce was to die for and our friends deluxe seafood platter for two was out of this world with bugs, prawns, lobster, oysters and chilli crab as well as scallops, local barra and more! Right on the waterfront with dolphins jumping out of the water this is an absolute gem for Darwin. Will be back every time we are in town.
Highly recommend their BBQ ribs as they were perfectly cooked and fall right off the bones. Also recommend their garlic bread with just the right amount of garlic butter.
And must try their oyster Trio!
We had great table service as well.
Wow, Silvia and her staff supplied a great experience, super friendly and professional. The food was to die for. Tonight is the best food experience I have had in Darwin on my 3 day trip. Do yourself a favour and dine here.
We ordered the Seafood Platter for 2, Beef & Lobsters, Garlic Bread and Fresh Oysters. We loved everything and dinner by the water with a view is always nice!
Also, if you want your own mini seafood buffet, I recommend the platters! Made to share but eaten by 1 is better🤷🏽♀️🤣🤣
Booking required. Beautiful location. Kids eat free from kids menu for every main meal purchased. Food was good, but nothing special. Long waiting time.
Friendly staff, great service, views are amazing as the night rolls in, meals were top notch have been twice in a week for dinner differently would go back next time in Darwin. Make sure you book ahead.
Always a good spot. We took my better half's sister there and she was not disappointed. We all agreed the food was top notch. The girls shared a dozen oysters. Big thumbs up to the oysters. Mains had were the rump, barra and a snitty. All done spot on. Service was friendly just not frequent enough. It was busy but an empty stubby needs attention 🍺🍺 9/10
