Welcoming committee was a bit disappointing. Staff just standing around talking and not paying attention to customers. Would have been nice to be shown the ordering procedure. However, the food was great, and the servie after we ordered was good. Black beer is the best.
A good place for lunch and a cooling drink. If considering going for dinner, it would be best to book a table - we were unable to find a table for dinner on our visit (they have Specials on most nights). At lunch we got cold bear, good meals and friendly service.
Top place for great food and well priced as well for what we had begin a family of 7 it cost less to go to the tavern for tea than what it would to go to the fast food place's for tea and fat far far better food the tavern is well maintained and clean service is fast food is hot and cooked perfectly
Very unexciting and overpriced food. A pizza should not arrive at the table lukewarm and soggy. Since when has it been a good idea to add sugar to a salad? No black pepper available, despite the wonderful efforts of a waiter to track down (earning an extra star).

Food was really good. The let down is the out side tables not being wiped down with sticky beer all over them. The other issue was the toilet but I can't say it's the taverns fault it's the patrons putting holes in the walls and pulling taps out
