Finigans Gourmet Fish And Chips - Darwin - Photo album

Myself and wife had heard this place sold best fish and chips. We went there yesterday for an early lunch and were greeted by the rudest young guy who was so aggressive and rude we walked out without ordering anything and went to the wharf for lunch. We have never experienced such anger in a shop in
Go here about 2 or 3 times a week to get chips, the small chips is more than enough for just me and they are really well priced and perfectly salted. There's 1 younger guy there and a lady who are both really friendly and nice, always asks how my day was and has a chat, but there's also an older guy
no eftpos services. The burger I order was lucky to have 5 strips of lettuce bit of a let down for such a long serving business.
Seafood basket for 1, seems sad, but it was nice, always taste better with a sunset and the obligatory seagull for the extra chips
Crispy chips ... always cooked in quality, clean oil. Burgers prepared and made the old way. Not soggy, like fast food outlets
Great lunch, the prawns were delicious, fish exceptional.
Expensive (just under $60) for 2 X fish and chips, 1 portion callamari, 2 drinks. Not great quality ... Pretty average
Cute well decorated shop, fast service with a smile, enough chips for two, fish was tasty with crispy batter. To try again.
