Review Lemongrass Restaurant - Darwin

I was walking around looking for something special and I found this gem. A family run business, looks like the husband does the cooking and his wife handles the customers. The food exceeded my expectations. Really fresh, really delicious and tasty. I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food (in India and Sydney) and this is one of the nicest meals I’ve had. Great breads also. You must try it out .

Definitely go here! Good price for amazing flavour. It's a "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant with outdoor Food Court seating (not dine‐in). I was happy to see AUTHENTIC butter chicken (not artificially coloured fluorescent orange). Delicious, fresh, handmade, rolled and cooked Chapati. All curries are made fresh with no preservatives and worth the wait. You can choose your level of 🌶🌶🌶. Good serving size and well-priced. It was delicious, fresh, spicy, and flavour-full... with friendly service!

Its a small, cute, cozy perfect....THE PERFECT PLACE to take you back home and rekindle those desi flavours. Im here in Darwin and temporarily and I keep coming back every other day. Price -great. Quantity- perfect, taste - won't let you feel youre out of Punjab/India. They even adjust the spice levels to your comfort. Its a blessing to have found this place here!!!

The best chole bathura and side dish of onions slices with chat masala.

👌YOU will come again. A very good place for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian lovers. The food is good and the price is low. The place is generally crowded here. The food is of good quality and their customer service really great (committment towards delivering food on time) Rest, doesn't matter. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommended if you're looking for a tasty punjabi food. Grateful to had dinner tonight 😋 remind me my mom recipe. Great and kind couple working very hard to make you happy and feed you home made food.

We saw it and knew that we had found the right place for the perfect dinner. The food was fresh, flavoursome and beautiful. The flavours rolled into the food and it was authentic. It was also very affordable. It was all round a great introduction to Darwin.

My son said the butter chicken was the best chicken dish he’s ever had! Excellent Indian in a fun alley setting. The chef made everything mild on request, so my kids loved it.

Second time eating here over the last week. Authentic Indian food. Loved the butter chicken. Quite possibly one of the best Indian restaurants I have eaten at. And I eat a lot of Indian food. Highly recommended...
