Visited this complex in 2017 , whilst in Darwin on holiday. Very impressed with the variety of shops & services offered there, & the ease of getting there by public transport .It has an integral transit centre that is accessed by buses from all areas of Darwin & outlying suburbs..Although built in the early 80s to strict adherence to cyclonic building codes , it has been modernised in keeping with the times ,& had such an impression on us that we actually bought shares in the trust entity that owns Casuarina Square.. We are now reaping excellent returns , & look forward to a good future capital gains growth..
Shopping centre wasn't as big as I thought but it had generally shops that you need. Food court is downstairs which I found mostly to be Asian food as well as kfc. Food was great. There is enough parking as well as your major supermarkets
Clean and well presented. A huge variety of Retailers available including Woolworths, BWS Liquor Store, Big W, Just Jeans, Best & Less and many more.
Downstairs is a food court with a good range of foods on offer and plenty of seating.
Underground parking also available with plenty of aboveground parking including short term parks (90 mins).
Wheelchair access ♿ and parking is available.
Nice place for shopping in Darwin. Where you can find a lot of stores, varieties of brand stores, cafes, skin care, hair saloon etc....
Nicest place for shopping in Darwin. Where you can find a lot of stores. No H&M or Zara though :)
Timezone is so fun to play arcade games!
Big W for home stuff
A huge shopping center in Darwin but security and toilet sanitation can still be improved.
One of my friend’s phone got stolen by a kid. My another friend’s purse got robbed by an 13 years old girl in front of Woolies!
By Territory standards it is 4 star but would score three interstate. It's design is showing its age. Angled shop corridors make the place, although small, a bit confusing in layout and navigation.
It's been bought and is going to get a refurb. Food court is good as are the shops.
It is still the best ( and only) in Darwin. Having said all of that, it is pleasant, nice and clean and decent variety, notwithstanding stress closures of some missed shops due to covid.
Avoid having to be confronted with potential discomfort and genuine safety potential down the back near the bus station exit, especially at closing time, unless you want startlingly real interactions with occasional miscreants.
