Review City Cafe - Darwin

Situated on the bus stop line, City Cafe #ramen is easy to access from anywhere in #Darwin. The restaurant is clean with hand sanitizer available and lots of smile. The ramen are reasonably priced and service is friendly and efficient especially for a team of 2. Katsudon ramen was tasty. The chef is from Fukuoka so obviously you are getting a taste of Japan culinary possibilities. Good for date or a meal before a big night out. Enjoy.

Tried the laksa inspired ramen today. Good flavour but didn't exactly remind me of a laksa except for the coriander, tofu and bean sprout. Still worth a try though

While I won't compare to the bigger cities, I have to say this is easily the best ramen in the NT. A variety of ramen, including vegan ramen (which was surprisingly good), and festival specials such as their laksa ramen. The chef is Japanese and puts a lot of love into his craft. The only downside is they don't currently have a liquor license (coming soon from what I hear), and their chilli oil isn't great, for those who enjoy spicy ramen.

Honest some great ramen would also recommended the vegetable croquette 😋😋plus Hannah Lo as your waiter ?! 11/10 good times would eat there again bc of her !!

The best spot for ramen in D'town. Like long-boiled ramen broth and the texture of the noodles. Plus, simplicity in the place.👍

Had a friend order take away the miso ramen for me and the tonkatsu for him because we were in the mood for ramen and didn't want to cook, plus I've always loved miso. But i Gotta say. Was not a fan of broth. I don't know what was different about it. But I was not a fan I couldn't eat it.... In an effort not to waste money I made my own broth washed off the ingridents and ate them like that. The other ingridents were great.. Unfortunately I must've had a bad batch or something but that miso did not agree with me. I was nauseated for the evening and some of the next day. But my friend loved the tonkatsu :)) 3/5 for the miso. But hopefully next time I will try one of your other soups it'll be better. 👌🏾 5/5 for the tonkatsu
