I stopped here on the way to the 12 apostles today with a friend and thought i must write a review, as this place is an absolute hidden gem! I had a hearty breakfast with gluten free bread which was delicious (the tomato relish was beautiful). I also had a fantastic coffee and chai tea (made in a teapot with local honey on the side). I then decided the pulled pork sandwiches looked too good to miss so i ordered one to take away for my lunch, that again was absolutely delicious with loads of filling! The store is beautifully decorated inside with lots of local produce that you are able to buy. The staff were lovely, warm and very accommodating!!! All in all an excellent place for a pit stop and to venture to whilst along the great ocean road!

Well I started off with a selection of Luke's salads (I mixed 3 kinds together) and enjoyed that so much I went back a couple of days later to try one of the pies- lamb, verges with potato topping. Then someone there suggested the baked beans! Sensational- and who would know that such delicious food can be had at The Store. Try it for yourself!

Now, THAT'S how you make a sandwich! Tried the pulled pork one day and drove back the next day from Torquay to try the chicken and bacon. Fresh ingredients, made with love. Delicious! And don't leave without some house made cookies!

A very cute store/cafe! The lady who served us was so friendly and almost made us feel like locals. The housemade red wine and beef pie was scrumptious (the meat was very tender & the pastry great) served with a decent portion of salad. Maybe a tad pricey but is to be expected in a small town. Will come back when in the area.

Little general store and cafe, blink and you could miss it, don't so that, it's well worth a visit. A lovely restored heritage building, once inside we dound it to be quite spacious and broken uo into sections with a cosy indoor seating area with so much to look at before ordering from the menu some delicious food and beverages. The coffee is very good as well as the cakes and slices in dessert section, they also sell local produce in their deli, groceries and assorted alcoholic drinks, proudly advertising supporting local producers and artisans. Well worth a stop if travelling.

Magnificent. If you are going coastal, or returning inland. Stop in! The Store is a one stop shop for local Food, a lovely Providore, hot and take home pastry, ready to heat meals, tasty local artisan choices and a great range of rustic breads. Great coffee. Wonderful menu of vegan, vegetarian and all foods in between, including great help with dietary requirements. The local and homemade cake selection, almost makes you need a second cuppa, to sample the many, that are too good to miss out on. This Store, supports many local farms and artisan food producers. Highly recommend, with warm and wonderful hospitality. Stop in, relax, take a break, and enjoy. The Store gets my 5🌟.
