The noodles, roti and massaman curry that we got here were all pretty good. Service was friendly, only downside would be that the meat in the curry was a bit chewy.

I stopped here recently for a light dinner of satay chicken, pad Thai, roti with satay sauce and beef stir fry. The pad Thai was excellent! It was full of flavour and great to see such a generous serving (perfect for sharing). The chicken skewers were superb - juicy and sweet. The roti was perfectly crispy and the sauce was a lovely smooth consistency. The stir fry wasn’t our favourite (meat was a little tough and the flavour a bit bland).
The restaurant is decorated simply, but nicely and the service was excellent. A lovely local find.
Had a great experience with my mother Irene Sevastopoulos Palamaras at this Nakorn Siam. The staff were very accomodating and made sure we were well taken care of during our dinner.
Would definatly visit again.
A pretty good casual Thai place in Balwyn. A typical approach to Thai cuisine. Average decor and atmosphere, would probably come here with family or friends for an easy catch up.
Try their ThaibRed Curry with Coconut Rice, not to be missed and my favourite dish from here.
One of the better Thai restaurants in the area. Red and green curry are absolutely delicious and the stir fries are fantastic. Haven't had a bad meal here. Food is always fresh. Give it a try. You won't regret it!
Likely the best Thai I have ever eaten. I've regularly dined in and also had home delivery many many times. Aside from the excellent service this restaurant seems to always produce consistently great food. Portions are good, price is fair and food is always fresh and vibrant.
Caution advised if you plan on eating this and then sinking 10 pints of beer. You'll need a pack of wet wipes to clean yourself up the following day.

Suburban Thai places all have the same menu and the same house specialty, the red duck curry. This place is no different.
The service is attentive, the prices are fair and the menu like all other menus is good, with food at average to slightly above average in quality.

Great local Thai.. We live near Nakorn Siam and it has quickly become our favourite local takeaway. Service is friendly and efficient and the meals are always ready on time. Our kids like the food which is great as my wife and I often struggle to find things they like. The chicken pad se ew is our favourite but the vegetarian spring rolls and samosas are keenly fought over as well. We have eaten in a few times as well and the staff are great with the kids. It is always busy which suggests that the word is out about the quality of Thai food here in Balwyn.
Superb Thai. Picked this place off its Urbanspoon rating as hadn't tried it before - we were not disappointed. I am a bit of a Thai food fanatic and I can honestly say their green chicken curry is one of, if not the best, I have ever had. Simply delicious with a real kick to get the heart going! Service impeccable and very friendly. :)
Ordered off Menu Log Online last week on Friday got the BBQ prawns, prawn spring roles and pad si yu , the food was amazing , best Thai I have ever had!!! Hats off to the chef , also the delivery was fast and the young guy who delivered was very friendly and nice , will be ordering again next week :)

Fresh and Fab. Dinner here recently was great. Not an extensive menu but everything is available with the protein of your choice and, when you do things this well, you don't need a million dishes. The two entres (fish cakes & curry puffs) were fresh and tasty with a nice hit of chilli. The green curry chicken was the best had in a long time and the pad grapow with prawns was sensational. Yep this is another on my "please can you move closer to my home?" list.

Excellent Thai Restaurant. Went to this restaurant with a voucher and were delighted. The reception and booking process was friendly, the service excellent and the food really good. The restaurant itself was pleasant with a nice ambience. In spite of being crowded we obtained a booking at short notice and the service was prompt as well as friendly. The portions were ample. What more could one ask. Well I have yet to find in Melbourne Mee Grob which is a favourite dish from Sydney Thai restaurants, I wish I could get this in Melbourne. Sadly most Thai restaurants in Melbourne stick to the same old same old dishes, I wish they were more adventurous except for Ying Thai but that's quite a trip away and this is much more local to us and we shall certainly come back.
Reliable everytime. I have been there for business, with friends and the family. Without fail in excellent service and mouth watering foods, no matter what has been consumed. Decor is modern, tables spaced well and service with a smile - unbeatable value in the Balwyn area.

Good home cooked food. My husband and I ate here recently and were pleasantly surprised as it was packed out on a Thursday night and we arrived at 8.45pm. They served meals until 10pm. The food was served in generous proportions and used fresh ingredients and each dish was served with a smile. The decor was warming and they even had a lounge area for takeaway patrons to wait in. My pad thai with chicken was delicious so was my daughter's vegetarian pad thai and the serve was so plentiful, we were unable to finish it. We definitely will be returning

The room setting is beautiful, modern and relaxing. Service always seems friendly weather it be for Take Away or Dine-In.

Best Thai in Melbourne by far. I don't often write reviews but feel the need to when sonething impresses me.
This is my local, and I've tried most of the major Thai restaurants around Melbourne.
Been here about half a dozen times now, the quality of food is amazing, great flavour and only choice cuts of meat.
Staff are always super friendly and don't impose on your dining experience too much. BYO is a bonus.
Love it, a must try for all Thai food lovers- decor is great and inviting too.

Real Thai Food & Great Service. Modern style Thai cuisine at it's best. Comtemporary Thai decor; Wireless Internet and having a flat tv screen on at the time (no sound) helps with families with younger children. Having room to move at the table (your not crammed in) makes it very relaxing and easy to talk around the table with a large group. Surpised with the take away service too (the delivery guy must of been busy the night I was there) .
The staff are full of smiles and genuinely offer assistance and old fashion service. I heard from the staff that they had hosted a Gourment Club (Elizabeth Chong), which in itself is a great accolade. All of this before I even mention food.
Started with the mixed entree and as there were a number of us we all shared the following mains - Squid Salad; Tom Yum; Red Curry; 3 Season Snapper Fish and the Crying Tiger. It was a lot to get through but satisfying (most even managed some coconut ice cream desert too) !
It's hard to say which dish I enjoyed the best, it's a toss up between the fish and the crying tiger. A lot more on the menu I would have liked to try but will leave that for another time.
5 Stars here and well deserved the trip to Balwyn. The locals are spoilt having a restaurant of this calibre in their neighbourhood.
We wil all be definitely putting this Thai restaurant on our favourites list and coming back !.
Dee. There are a few Thai restaurants but this one belongs up there with the best. Fantastic dining experience. Lovely decor and atmosphere with friendly staff that were always attentive and helpful. We didn't wait long at all for our meals. Entrees, Mains and Dessert were all reasonably priced and portions were good. Mixed sharing platter was a good starter. Fish cakes and that chicken satay sauce was excellent. The prawns with sweet chili mayo I definitely recommend to everyone. For mains, Rockling Fish in ginger sauce was fresh and delicious. We also had the Tiger beef with chili and pepper sauce. If you like it spicy, you'll love it! That was a favourite for us. For dessert, Sugar Palm pudding with homemade coconut ice cream was just to die for! Why bother going to Thailand, this is as good if not better!!
Nakorn Siam is a great dining experience with an awesome atmosphere. The service was spot on and the food tasted delicious and good portions. I will be back really soon and is one of the best Thai resturants I have been to.

Food is always good, the best, its a restaurant i make sure i dont miss when i’m in langkawi, unfortunately my latest trip in april 2022 (fasting month) when i called in to book, i was not allowed since its only open for those buka puasa only. I und the concerns and i respect that. But i saw one of the tourist (non-fasting) actually dine in during the time i declined from dining in. I’m not sure why? If the manager see this review, may be can clarify.
I ordered mine take away twice in the last month. Both times the process was simple. The good delivered promptly and as usual the food is delicious.
this is my favourite thai restaurant in the world ! i’ve been coming here for 10 years now and the standard has not dropped one bit. the waiting staff are very polite and look as good as the food. i highly recommend the gai gnar. thank you for your service one thai :)
I have only eaten in the restaurant once & had delicious food & excellent friendly service. I am gradually exploring the Take Away menu & am loving all I'm ordering. The food is absolutely delicious, fragrant, fresh & a good sized serving. They are open 5pm to 10pm Tue to Sun which can be very handy for a late meal. Their prices are reasonable & there is some parking out the front, with more underneath. Whether you eat in our take away you'll love their delicious Thai food & friendly service. Give them a try.
