Came in with a table of 10. Meals came out promptly and together. Had the steak, cooked med rare as asked. Came with pepper sauce which was very nice, proper whole peppercorns and enough for the whole steak but not drowning the plate. Potato mash was awesome
Wife had the eggplant parmigiana and love
Food was tasty, well presented and quick to come to the table. The staff are outstanding, they make you feel at home and keen to be at your service
After waiting over 30 mins for our 2 bagels ONE was brought over...rock hard.. the steak knife had trouble with it. They finally then brought over the second one 20 mins or so later after we had shared the first one. Not even an apology. I dont generally like to leave one star reviews BUT personall
Waited over an hour for 3 toasted sandwiches, mine came cold.
Kitchen door was open and they staff seemed to be mucking around and not focused on getting food out quickly.

Instead I was given a short caffee latte.
Pretty much the only cafe in Derby but actually very good coffee and food for breakfast.

The mushroom mix with breakfast was so tasty highly recommend. The poached eggs cooked perfectly
We went back for dinner the steak was cooked beautifully fresh tasty sides was very go
Waited over an hour and a half my meal when asked where my meal was was told everyone else has been waiting that long to will never come back here again
