Review Mrs Jones Restaurant Bar Lounge - Devonport

A spacious restaurant with views of the ocean with great food. Took mum for lunch for her 80th. Great there is a lift. Staff were informative and efficient. Really great service. The menu is extensive and caters for various dietary requirements. We had excellent oysters, two starters and a dessert between us with some brioche bread in the side. Our lunch was excellent. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion, lazy brunch or a date.

Amazing food, excellent presentation and fresh distinct flavors. We tried lots of small plates that were offered promptly by the warm and friendly staff. We topped off our great meal & wines with a cheese platter and a cleansing lemon sorbet while overlooking stunning Bass Strait.

You pay for the view here, and therefore when booking make sure you ask for a window seat. The food here is great, although lacking the explosion of flavour I expect of high end restaurants. The food is impeccably presented. The semifredo dessert however was one of the tastiest desserts I have had in a long time. 4/5

Beautiful caring service, definately directed at assisting to maintain dignity of patrons with new napkins, fresh plates etc. Amazing food that you can't stop eating even when you want to. Staff very friendly and caring in all aspects of hospitality. Our expense was more than average as we shared plates but worth every dollar

My partner and I had just arrived in Devonport for the night and TripAdvisor recommended Mrs Jones. We were not disappointed! When we got there, it was fully booked out. As luck would have it, a table had just cancelled! We had the chicken wontons, the lamb shoulder, chicken in coconut curry sauce, along with a side of greens and a dessert each. The foods massaged our insides with every bite. The serving sizes were perfect and I didn’t get over-full. The staff were very friendly, and even though we sat on a couch in a booth, the couch was so comfortable we didn’t mind. Would definitely recommend, and also book ahead!!

A really beautiful location with stunning food. This is a peak Devonport experience and I’d recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment as it is a very popular spot. Each dish has a real wow factor here. They have beautiful vegan options.

Delicious food. Generous portions. The cocktails were a bit average but they do have a decent wine list so nothing lost there. Vegetarian options are pictured below.

Fantastic restaurant in devonport, service was excellent, great mix of cocktails to choose from. I ordered the scallops and red duck curry, both were delicious with great presentation. Well definitely come back again.
