Review The Bangkok Eatery - Dingley Village

Everything we order are very tasty and delicious eventhough bit too salty. Autenthic Thai flavour. It would have been 5 stars if the food less salty so we can enjoy them without need to be accompanied by lots of rice. Will come back

We ordered 3 mains and 2 small sides to share between three of us and let me tell you there was enough for a fourth person. The food was very tasty and full of flavour! Authentic Thai. I will admit it was salty but we didn’t realise until we finished our food as we all kept drinking water in the night. Besides that - I would still 100% recommend :)

Had Pad See EW, Red curry and boneless fried chicken. Very nice meal, friendly staff. The Thai ice tea is recommended as well. Already recommend to friends, definitely will come again.

Authentic Thai resto. It was clean and had a good atmosphere We enjoyed our order. I particulary love the baby barramundi dish. I wish the prices could be a bit cheaper though.

The food is good. The restaurant is clean and nice. But I guess if I were the owner, I would turn off Online order apps for 30mins/1hr to serve customers inside first. They too focused on making takeaway that they left us waiting long, the table next to us was also waiting forever. We ordered curry and salad and rice. But they only brought out 1 curry and let us wait for another 10mins. We just starred at the curry for nothing. That’s very annoying. Should have bring us some rice with curry or the salad first. If I come back next time, I’ll come very early or I order takeaway because that seems much quicker.

First experience with this green curry. You feel very fulfilling eating. Very stylish place, kinda wish the servers weren't too keen on taking my plate away when I was almost done. Great experience nevertheless

-The green curry was not only stylish and all for show, it was full on flavour and the beef was super tender (best part) which is very unusual for Thai curries. -I always order the fried fish with a sweet and sour sauce. Batter is light and crispy, paired with a tangy, strong but delicious sauce. - Lastly, I always finish off my excellent meal with butter roti w/ coconut ice cream. You definitely should order this. I've had dessert roti in Bangkok and the flavours here are strikingly similar. They add popcorn here which suprisingly works so well! Adds a nice crunch. Owner is so sweet and she's always smiling. She's the type of business owner who makes sure you're satisfied with your meal as you exit out. A lovely person!

Really delicious Thai food. The menu has a great mix of options. I've been here twice and ordered different things both times, everything has been delicious! Loved the duck bao and the crispy mushroom salad! Will be back!

Have been to many Thai restaurants and this place is one of my favourite! The food are good quality & fresh with reasonable price. Great services and welcoming atmosphere. Usually we will order at least 5 main dishes I must say all of them never disappointed. It’s 40mins from my place but worth to go. We definitely go back again anytime when we got chance. I heard that they are joining “Uber eat” so that would make my life much easier. Highly recommend A+++++ BTW : my favourite dish is Pull Pork love it!!!

Love a family friendly place that has high chairs for our kids and beautiful staff happy to serve - table service was a pleasure to receive in the modern, relaxed venue Won't be going anywhere else for legit Thai food served with the best balanced dishes and such gorgeous presentation Well worth the drive if you're out of the way

The food is amazing! Very delicious and flavorsome. I can forgive the service because the food is so good. I would suggest bringing own wine because the wine menu isn’t great.

Love Love Love Bangkok Eatery's food! If they're not busy, ask to try their very special fried rice (so special it isn't even on the menu!!!!) The satay chicken skewers are packed full of flavour, the money bags are super crispy and juicy, even if you get them delivered. I've only ever eaten one other Massaman Curry that is as good as theirs too and their roti - OMYUM!!!!! Plus everything is so clean and spotless and the staff are just adorable :)

All the food that we ordered was nice and so tasty. Love the cosy place and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We had takeaway from Bangkok Eatery. The green curry we had was unflavourful and not even green - it was brown. All of the meat dishes we had (duck curry and grilled pork) as well as the pad Thai was dry. The curry puffs were okay. It might have been that we had takeaway instead of dining in. I also asked the girl at the register for a tax invoice and she said she was unable to print me one. Overall our experience was average and disappointing.
Authentic Thai flavours. Loved it !

Amazing service and extremely authentic food. When the restaurant is busy however it can take a while for your food to come out but otherwise everything is good.
I ordered the Crispy pork belly stir fry and the dish definitely lived up to its name. The pork was so crispy but the meat was tender at the same time. absolutely beautiful. The chef is also an absolute sweetheart and comes out to great you and check to make sure the food is alright.

Was a lovely dining experience would come back again

Ordered the Massaman Curry and the Crying Tiger salad for take away. The curry was very rich and tasty, and the meat was so tender — it just fell apart! Highly recommend this dish.

The meat in the salad was a little chewy, though. The dressing could also use a thickener of some kind, as it is quite watery, meaning the lettuce doesn't hold it very well. It was kind of just in a puddle at the bottom of the container, requiring a stir-through every so often. It was flavourful though — zesty, fresh, and spicy.

Service was fast and friendly.

Overall I recommend!!

Ordered Pad Thai via Uber Eats. It arrived warm and had a generous amount of beef, but it didn't have much flavour – it seemed like they skimped on sauce, as it really didn't taste like anything (and I'm not crazy about the usually overly saucy noodles often found in Asian takeaway stores).
It also had way too many bean sprouts, which reduced the flavour even further.

The food is great. Dessert is amazing! Out of my expectation. Dinning environment is good as well. Nice and cozy. Really enjoy the night. Highly recommend to check out this place.

First time we ordered take away when it was newly opened and was fantastic. Been back twice since and seems to be declining in quality and freshness.
I won’t be back again unless something changes. Sorry

Great Thai feed, and everything is reasonably priced. My family enjoyed the variety on the menu. Restaurant is perfect for all sized groups.

Most of the food is good just lacking in portion sizes. Very small for what you pay for. Not sure if I'll go back.
Had home delivery another time and portions were even smaller .... yikes!

New to the neighborhood and found this place on our first night here. Love the food. The only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because the service could be better. They’re a bit slow when you’re eating in but very friendly.

Have been a regular since it open. Really going down hill now! Portions smaller. Black rice pudding has become black rice sundae, no black rice and all Icecream @ $12ea!! Not going back.
Very good Thai food, full of flavor and yumminess. Staff are very attentive and friendly.
Chef cooks the best Thai probs in whole Melbourne .
You won't go wrong , if you are after Thai food. It's the great venue to catch up with families, friends and relatives.
Chef looks after his food attention to the details , you can see it and taste it on your taste bud.

Ordered home delivery from here the other night.
Food was average.
The massaman curry lacked flavour and seemed like it had been watered down. The beef was cooked perfectly though. Portion size was average but disproportionate, the single serve of rice was huge and the curry was average sized. Only point this out because my wife and I are normally able to share a curry with a portion of rice each at most other Thai places.

The Roti was a little overcooked but enjoyable none the less, the peanut sauce was great!

Overall not a bad local but definitely have had better Thai.

The best Thai restaurant in Australia... Try "massamon lamb, stir fry chicken, crying tiger, salads".. Every single meal is just perfect!!!!

Delicious! The latest addition to Dingley Village's plethora of eating establishments exceeded my expectations. The restaurant was undeservedly quiet at 8pm on a Saturday night. Greeted by the hostess and fresh minimalist decor we perused the menu and found some old favorites as well as some interesting new dishes.
We couldn't go past the chicken curry puffs and satay chicken skewers for starters - they were so tasty.
The crispy chicken with cashews, veg and chili jam piqued my interest and it did not disappoint, in fact I give it a 5 out of 5! Perfect serving size, loads of fresh crisp vegetables, generous amount of cashews and tasty sauce (although a little salty)
I had little samples of the flavorful massaman curry and the prawns with pepper sauce (which would have been my second choice). I was disappointed there was no coconut rice on the menu, but could not fault the steamed jasmine rice.
I love roti and their's was delicious although a smidge on the oily side.
Staff were humble and helpful although missed asking if we'd like to order drinks. With a few little tweaks this place could be one of the best Thai places around!

Delicious!! Dingley has been waiting for fresh, modern food like this for a long time now! Everyone was very satisfied with their meals. I struggled to choose a dish with so many tempting items on the menu but couldn't pass up the crispy pork belly. Topped with Thai basil and fresh chili, the pork belly was aromatic and sweet, with a bit of spice to it too. There are so many items on the menu that I'd love to try but I don't know if I'll ever be able to pass up on the pork! The Massaman curry was also delicious; slow cooked lamb is also always a winner! Staff were very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back here again!!

Great new Thai place in Dingley. Service is great for takeaway and the food selection is great. Been a number of times and will continue to visit.

The food was really nice and the hosts very welcoming. We had the special and ate more than we could handle. Would come here again for some good Thai food in Dingley.

Will not be returning. All of my chicken has gristle in it. I spat out more chicken that I ate. I got the red curry definitely wasn't impressed. Also purchased the satay skewers I also spat that out with fatty pieces. Could be a one off but this was so bad
