Some lovely dishes and great ambience. They did seem a little desperate for patronage though after 2 sms messages and 3 emails to confirm the booking.
Also watch out for their booking provider that does not honour Australian anti spam laws. Recommend phoning instead to Berk.

My partner and I had a great experience at the Restaurant today. We haven't had the chance to go out on a date for a while, and today was quite memorable. The ambiance was very welcoming and charming and the food was amazing. Do yourself a favour and visit this great restaurant in Yarra Valley. It took us an hour each way, but so worth it. The staff (Jervice and Jacinta) were so nice and Jervice was extremely knowledgeable. The service is unmatched.

My husband and I had an amazing experience dining at Locale this evening. Awesome service and food. Terrine and risotto were marvellous and the tiramisu was a delightful surprise! Hoping to come back for more wine!

Operating a cafe menu at the moment due to Covid restricting the numbers of people in the restaurant but the food and service was great and I definitely highly recommend a visit - just make sure you book or you may miss out.
I had the duck parfait which was super smooth and tasty followed by the gnocchi which were perfect little pillows, light and delicious. I chose the pesto sauce and was not disappointed, a vibrant fresh sauce that worked very well with the gnocchi. Topped this off with a couple of glasses of De Bortoli wine, a view out onto the vineyard and it was the perfect lunch and great way to get back into eating out after lockdown.
