Bob's Your Uncle Cafe is situated at the end of Jackson's Court next to the Doncaster Reserve. They have outdoor seating and inside the cafe is spacious and comfortable. They allow for bookings which is really nice as often these days many cafes dont take bookings.

The female owner is very friendly and looks after customers really well.
Service by staff is friendly and there is never a long wait for food.
Safe social distancing is practiced.
There is refrigerated section for take-home food packs and a shelf to buy pantry staples!

Cutting into the 2 large fluffy pancakes and tasting the melted chocolate was very yummy. The best was the melted choc chips on the outside of the pancake were slightly charred.
The caramel cream was so delicious, wish there were more! I couldnāt take a photo of the pancake because it was hidden amongst all the tasty toppings.
Hope to visit the cafe once restrictions lift for dining in.
I am a regular costumer at bobs and have no complaints. I have been many times and will continue to go.
Friendly service, bright interiors. However, food was average and thereās really nothing much to brag about. However, would definitely give it a go again because their service was great!

Their fritters are currently my favourite cafe meal, and it isnāt easy to look past it on the menu.
The food is consistently amazing and they clearly take great pride in choosing what goes onto their menus and the high quality in taste and presentation, the service is fast and the staff are very friendly to all costumers.
I love the interior and layout of the cafƩ, their new art wall is unreal as well!

I have never known friendly staff until going to Bobās Your Uncle! So attentive and caring, felt like I was part of the family!
Also, couldnāt fault the food!
A beautiful cafe with a really good acai bowl!
FOOD & COFFEE: I ordered the Acai Bowl and of course, I added the peanut butter and it was a really delicious bowl and super substantial! The acai base was really unique and much more tart than other ones! The presentation was beautiful and the peanut butter was sooo decadent and delicious! The granola was also really good! The coffee was lovely and very rich and I loved it!

Iāve been wanting to come to the cafe for the longest time and the wait was worth it. The Acai Bowl is really special and one of the better ones Iāve tried! The coffee is really good and itās an absolutely beautiful cafe! Definitely worth a visit if youāre ever around Doncaster
Great food and atmosphere. Loved the eggs Benedict with pulled pork and apple topping. Also liked that they brew their chai fresh. Service is quick as well. Will be back!

A wonderful find..... the owner loves what she does and the service of all the staff were warm and friendly. The food was exceptional, with each dish perfectly cooked and presented. Even the rockets on the fritters was well dressed. The coffee was perfect and only that I had enough coffee for the day, I would have definitely had another.

What a great find. An authentic Chai with spices- so yum. Also had a delicious truffle ball. Cakes etc look amazing. Iāll be back. Location is near the laundromat in Jackson Court. Friendly staff too
Not really an area we venture to often, but I have to say it was well worth the trip today! Apart from the shrieking toddler (not the cafes fault š£) , we thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. A very good batch brew coffee, superb ( 9/10 on fritter scale) pumpkin & corn š½ fritters and the mixed mushrooms also super tasty!! The staff attentiveness was noteworthy and appreciated, not just serving customers but totally aware of customers comfort.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST! The best food and the best service. We just canāt stop going back to Bobās because we have such a wonderful experience every time! The meals are huge and delicious, such a great range for the sweet toothed (me!) and the egg lover (my fiancĆ©!)! The best coffee in the East and 110% the nicest staff Iāve ever come across. Lisa and her team are divine!
I love popping into here...either for brunch or just a coffee. Never disappoints. Iāve found staff to be most helpful. Only negative is trying to decide what to eat.
Our family are regulars at Bobās - and for good reason! Not only is food delicious, you canāt go wrong with any of the menu items but the service we receive is second to none. Always have the most comfortable and relaxing time when dining at Bob's your uncle. The owner Lisa goes out of her way, even in the busiest of times to have a chat and see how you're doing, because she actually cares about her customers. The staff are always polite and smiling and do a brilliant job. My personal favourite is the Chilli scramble with added bacon. I've tried this style of dish at many other cafes but have given up now, as Bob's does it best. Not to mention the sensational coffee!
In response to the altercation at the cafe this afternoon. Anyone who knows the cafe, it's staff and owner, KNOW, WITHOUT A DOUBT IN THE MIND that they deal with anyone and everyone, with the upmost respect, gratitude and professionalism. And for someone to try and corrupt the reviews with lies because they spend their weekends looking for misery and alterations I find completely baffling. Live your negative life in your own little bubble and don't project on others.
I only hope and would assume, most of the general public who read these reviews as a basis on where to dine are good, switched on people who can see bull**** reviews when they read them.
Don't believe the crap from the keyboard warriors. Support local small business and try for yourself. If you have a bad experience I'll pay for your meal myself!
Im a regular customer and go every fortnightly for brunch. The servers are happy and proud to work there and the food is always consistent and delicious. I was very hesitant to write this review but I think theyāll need to know - the coffee the past 5 visits have been burnt and extremely bitter. You can see other customers taking a sip and not touching it at all - but theres that once off customer who orders 2 or 3 after. This is my personal taste and wanted to comment as it wasnt like this in prior visits before that. Everything else is great! Keep up the great service and food

Their poke bowl is one of the best ones Iāve tried so far - their sesame seeds and spicy soy sauce dressing was SO flavourful and really made the dish extra good. Would definitely go back for this!
The eggs benny was really delicious too and not too rich! The green apples made a huge difference in the dish.
The choc chip pancakes were huge! Definitely a good sharing option. Love how generous they were with the serving size and the fairy floss. Wouldāve loved a bit more choc chips in the actual pancakes though!
My fave local cafe!! Iāve been here a million times and it never disappoints. Featured is the Bobs Breakfast & the Mixed Mushrooms. AMAZING!! Just waiting until the pea croquettes are back in the menu š

I had the fritters and I found these really delicious- the serving size was perfect for the price they were too! Loved all the elements on the dishes.

Nothing is more relieving than dependable brunch done with love. (Especially during my hangry time!)
Without being modern-Australian, this menu has the old favourites and everything is done adequately.
The coffee is okay, the service attentive, and personable with the owner being involved in serving, which I always believe is a great way to lead.
The atmosphere is neat, inviting yet simplistic although the location can be difficult to ascertain on an initial visit.
Bob's Your Uncle is family-friendly with a children's menu, highchair availability and the staff's undeterred approach to mess (always a winner if they can make mess somewhere other than home!)

Jumped outta bed to come and try the Nutella Pannacotta. And Iām glad I did because it put a big smile on my face.
To drink, we had almond lattes, which tasted amazing. They use Industry beans, so you know itās gonna be good. And to follow the most amazing peanut butter smoothie, and to balance it out, a fresh cold pressed juice with all the goodies - kale, lemon, apple and cucumber. So refreshing.
So hard to pick what to eat, itās all so tempting, but we ordered three of the ones we liked most:
NUTELLA FRNECH TOAST - with the fluffiest of French toasts, sweet juicey berries and of course that silky, creamy, oh so delicious Panna Cotta.
SALAD BOWL - with all the greens, salted ricotta and a perfectly poached egg. Loved this one.
CORN AND PUMPKIN FRITTERS - some of the best Iāve had. So full of flavour. Crisp edges, perfectly seasoned, and served with a warm-spiced tomato kasoundi, it was just perfect.
This is such a fun cafe, with great energy thatās always vibing. The staff here are so lovely and welcoming. We wanted to stay all day.
Delicious food! It was busy when I came in but happily and calmly found a spot to eat! I 100% recommend the food and coffees here and definitely a regular when it come to getting my take away coffees!
What an awesome little find. This is a very popular little place which people constantly flowing through. The food is simply to die for! The chilli scramble has wonderful candied chilli that are sweet but still pack a punch. The salmon poke bowl was yummy and perfectly portioned. The earl grey tea is more floral tasting than we like but that is a minor criticism. Well worth a visit.
Family breakfast on a fun Saturday morning saw us at this cafe. Fresh modern fitout, blankets on outside chairs and thoughtful staff has made us visit several times. The food is great coffee excellent! Make time to visit.
The owner and her staff are so friendly and always make an effort to engage in conversation. Menu is amazing and the different specials they offer each time we dine mean there is always something new to try. Delicious and canāt recommend this cafe for breakfast/lunch enough!
We decided to come here because there was nothing in Westfield shopping centre that looked that great. So pleased we made the 6 minute drive ā when we sat down outside in the sun under the gorgeous black and white striped umbrellas the owner came out with some blankets for us to sit on! Plus the food was delicious ā I had the burger and my mum had the scrambled eggs special. Highly recommended.

The cafe was busy, parking was easy and the staff were friendly.
I tried the Poke Bowl recommended by the staff. It was was amazingly delicious.
I have tried Poke Bowls at other cafe's, but there was usually too much rice and not enough topping.
However, the topping and rice portion here was just right.
There were other things on the menu I would like to try. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes.
Nice coffee good service ,the meal is very quick and delicious. we always happy have a breaky here every week. I like sit outside and enjoy the peanut butter smoothie or have a cold brew with the sunshine.
The soba noodle was delicious and every element were cooked very well. The acai bowl was a little bit disappointing as the presentation was brilliant but the flavor was not as great as expected. Service is average, the bill was handed to us before we requested for it.
Absolutely amazing cafe!
Food: the food was so delicious (I had the fried chicken burger and my friend had the smashed pumpkin special). They were both very filling and great value for money! The fried chicken was crispy and the slaw was so fresh and tasty! The chips on the side were also yum (was also offered aoli sauce on the side š)
Service: all the staff were so helpful and friendly and didnāt rush us. Especially Lisa, she was super lovely and welcoming and provided excellent service! She really made the visit special and happy!
Setting: Seating area was beautiful (perfect for capturing those Instagram photos šø) and very spacious.

only fault i can make is the menu... really hard for coeliacās to know what is gluten free when nothing states GF on the menu! i had to ask the waitress āis this gluten freeā and then she would say no, so i find myself asking AGAIN āis this gluten free?ā and it gets really frustrating for me to pick something to eat...
i ended up getting the eggs benny as it is always a go to! the components in this dish were really something else!!! it had slow cooked pulled pork on gluten free toast with poached eggs, hollandaise and green apples, i loved the flavours as it all worked well together even though i would never have thought!
in the end i was obviously satisfied with the food, just disappointed about the lack of GF knowledge and items not listed as GF
Love this place! the choice of breakfast in this area for sure! Friendly service always very welcoming. Their food is not something you would find easily elsewhere with their combination and presentation. So happy to have this so close to home!
This is a good quality cafe in the Eastern suburb which provides a good variety of dishes in their menu. We have ordered a smashed avo and a breakfast board, together with a latte and a soy chai. I was really satisfied with my breakfast board and I think it is just perfect when you want both the savory and sweets. My friend really enjoy her avo dish as well. For coffee, It was enjoyable,however I did found my chai latte to be slightly too sweet.
Overall a very good ambience, simple and bright. Service was amazing as well.
Third time here and always has been a pleasant experience. My husband and I are picky with brunch and would rather make eggs at home but Bob's Your Uncle is always worth it!!! Tried the mushroom dish, corn frittata, brekky board, French toast and the chilli scrambled eggs - all amazing food :) also their service is always quick and friendly.

Bobās Your Uncle, a cafe located in the quiet suburbs of Doncaster East. We came here for lunch and had trouble trying to figure out what to eat. It was nice that one of the staff members came up to us and helped us with suggesting some of the their favourite dishes and the special on that day, which was the pandan pancake with vanilla ice cream and the cured ocean trout, scrambled eggs on a black bun. We thought that sounded delicious so we order that and the mixed mushrooms.
The scramble egg on the bun was beautifully plated. Very modern. The bun was really nice and crispy and the scramble eggs were seasoned perfectly. I also thought the cure ocean trout was quit unique. I donāt think Iāve ever had cute ocean trout. I really enjoyed it.
The mixed mushroom was very simple yet flavourful. A great choice if youāre vegetarian!
I would love to come back to try out their pandan pancakes!

As someone who eats out several times a week whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, morning / afternoon tea - Iāve pretty much seen it all. Today was a highlight in brunch dining. My three kids who are now 20, 18 and 16 gave also become savvy diners and nearly always give their tips and 10c worth. My son liked the knives - nice sharp knives!
Anyway, I ordered the pumpkin and corn fritters, my son the burger, my big daughter the smashed avo hold the kale and my baby girl (16) had the pancakes. That along with fresh juice and a loose leaf chai and we were in heaven. At last a place that serves a chai thatās not that sweet powder!
Sitting close to the kitchen at the rear, we could watch the food coming out to the tables so snapped some extra photos of the stunningly presented meals. The croquettes are on my list for next time. The cake selection is something āout of the boxā with not just your ordinary muffins on offer.
Dietaries are easily catered for.
Some nice home made preserves at the register to tease you some more.
Dining out the front on a warm day would be delightful.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. High chairs available. Good parking out the front. Takeaway coffees and cakes available.
If I had to make one criticism it would be that it can be noisy - which to me is a plus because it says people are enjoying themselves.

We came here for brunch on a Thursday. We didnt have to wait and were seated immediately. We ordered Bob's brekky bun and the pumpkin and corn fritters. I thoroughly enjoyed the fritters. They were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Coffee was pretty good too. Service was friendly.

Been going here since it first opened and cant get enough. The Brekky roll is perfect every time and its inclusion of a hash brown takes the cake. Another common order of mine is the Chicken Burger which I can't get enough of. Not once have I had to have my order taken back which is a commendment to the chefs, well done. Service is impeccable and always warm and welcoming. With a new menu released recently I'm excited to see what to try next.

189 reviews and this is my first 5-star rating. I cannot fault this cafe at all - from the overall ambience to the level of service and quality of food, this place has it all! If you want a dining experience worth remembering, this would be it.
First of all, I love how friendly and welcoming the staff are from the get go. It set a great first impression and we really appreciated that.
We came in around 1pm today (weekday) to a half-full cafe. Iāve read some reviews about it possibly being noisy, but we did not have that problem at all. Tables and chairs are positioned fairly far apart too, leaving customers feeling comfortable with a sense of personal space. There are a few wire chairs (some inside the cafe but most for outside seating). I can imagine it being uncomfortable to sit on, but there are blankets provided by the cafe. So you can use them to sit on, or just to use to keep your legs warm during the cold weather.
Most importantly, we were 100% satisfied with the food we ordered today. (F.Y.I - The cafeās new menu started today.) Compliments to the chef! The āSmashed avocadoā was a treat, definitely over-ranking our previously no.1 spot, at Good Neighbouring cafe. Iām not a fan of fetta, so the fact that the fetta mousse was rationed in small amounts on the side of the dish was brilliant. What made the plate even more appealing was the zucchini and mint salad on top. This gave a new twist to the classic dish without taking away that avocado flavour. All ingredients worked well together and I would definitely come back here to eat this again!
The other dish we ordered was the āPin! Colada Smoothie Bowlā. This was simply refreshing! Of course, it is sometimes cold when you bite a frozen chunk of frozen blended mango, but thatās not a big deal if you use your spoon to mix it beforehand. The house-made granola was also delicious. Usually I donāt like granola that has a lot of big pieces of nuts or oats as they end up being dryā¦ but this was not the case. It was easy to eat and the flavours of the rest of the bowl definitely helped to balance the texture as well as the palate as a whole.
Drinks-wise, they were great. The coffee was strong and needed a big of sugar to sweeten it. The tumeric latte was perfect as served.
Once again, I had an unexpectedly wonderful experience here. Great job, Bobās Your Uncle! š

Been to this cafe a few times and every time the food has been really good and the coffee is great. All of the staff are really lovely and attentive. The ambiance is lovely and light. I would definitely recommend this place if youāre in the area
Super excited to visit this local hot spot! The cafe was busy with people looking to enjoy the cosy environment on a wet day. We braved the elements sitting outside in their lovely front area. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Choc Chip Pancakes and Smashed avocado. All of these dishes has a little twist that made them that little bit different to your usuals. Lisa was probably the stand out, itās not often you find such a warm and hospitable owner who greets you with a smile and friendly staff. We will be back!

This is a modern style cafe that offers impressive food and service. It would be well at home in any of the hipster drenched inner suburbs.
The owner of Bobās Your Uncle is a hospitality industry veteran and it certainly shows. The cafe has a good modern menu full of great dishes. It was doing a good brisk trade when we arrived. I chose the nourish bowl with a poached egg and some toast. The dish was outstanding. Best Iāve had for a while and much better than similar dishes available at higher rated places including Sir Charles earlier in the week. The dish was beautifully presented and looked very inviting. Everything in this dish was absolutely as fresh as a daisy. Every single one of the veggies was so flavoursome. You worry a dish like this might be bland. You certainly donāt have to worry about this one. Everything was great. The pickled beetroot was particularly fine, the carrots magnificent, the brussel sprouts just ever so residually crisp, the rice cooked perfectly, etc, etc. Itās such a great dish.
My partner had the super food salad with salmon. Sheās occasionally a harsh critic but she too went nuts over her dish. She loved it. I had a taste as well. Itās a superb offering.
It was noteworthy that our meals and all the other ones coming out were a good size. I was taken by the chilli eggs being consumed at a nearby table. A largish meal that looked very good. Thatās one for next time.
The coffee was lovely here too. Strong and beautiful. We could not fault it.
This cafe is a nice bright modern space, mainly white with a little green. Itās soft and subtle decor. It always good to to see some greenery as well and there are some nice plants dotted around at ground level and higher. The cafe was bit noisy at some points, mainly due to one rather ebullient group. They might also consider soft tips on the chair legs here as well.
Service was very good throughout. It was noticeable that the staff were working hard. Our young server was polite, attentive and very efficient. A wonderful asset to the business.
Overall this is a very very good local place. We loved it and will definitely return. I dearly wish this was my local cafe.

We had seen Bobās Your Uncle trending on Instagram and thought we would try it out - we were so glad we did! Letās get straight into it!
Chocolate mint french toast (special of the day we visited) - I was a little skeptical of this combo at first as I am generally not a fan of mint but this changed my mind and hereās why! The french toast was super fluffy and thick and the sweetness of it had complemented the freshness of the chocolate mint, you could call it a breathe of fresh air! I could not fault this though not everyone may agree with me on this.
Nourish bowl - this was literally a bowl with all the nutrients you need such as Dutch carrots, sweet potato, pickled beets and fennel, etc (see picture). What made this stand out was the choice of adding in a dressing/sauce into the bowl which we happily did! The addition of this made it into a truly delicious nourish bowl which I happily nourished with my mouth and thatās why this was my favorite of the day! ā„ļø
Eggs benedict - can never go to a cafe and not order their eggs benny! The highlight of this dish was the yummy pulled pork which was so tender and juicy which melted into my mouth! The finely shredded green apples added complexity to this dish and was a good addition!
We had a great time Bobās and I am now contemplating if I should become his nephew! Keep up the good work!

Bob's Your Uncle is a great brunch place in Doncaster. It's located in Jackson Court and tucked away at the back. Their service was really quick and friendly for a Saturday afternoon. Their coffee was quite average however I quite liked their food especially their Bob's breakfast bun.

Love the interior design of the entire cafe, especially that little corner by the door !! We ordered the caramel pancakes and pumpkin smash and every bite was perfect !! Have and will return :)
Wow! Visiting from interstate and was recommended to visit this cafe .... it disappoint! We had the superfood salad, smashed pumpkin and pork burger... a diverse and fussy family and we all left with a smile on our face ... Iām a bit weird about coffee and the coffee was fabulous! Crisp and bright! We will return, wonderful food, great ambiance and wonderful staff !

Great service, food is great in quality, quantity and flavour combinations. Coffee blend also tastes great, no need for the regular teaspoons of sugar we normally have. Definitely recommend!

We had a great visit to Bobās your uncle in Doncaster this morning. I got their amazing chocolate chip pancakes. They were super filling and very sweet without being sickening or overly so. The caramel cream sauce they covered them with was out of this world amazing and the poached fruit provided the needed freshness. The portion was very generous but I couldnāt stop myself from finishing all the pancakes because they were just so delicious š
My friend got the chili scramble but swapped the croissant for sourdough toast due to preference, she said it was also delicious and her portion was also very generous but again the great flavours meant she couldnāt help but finish it all!
Staff were also very friendly and polite.
However, the only real negatives were that time between ordering and food delivery was quite long - however I canāt deduct any stars for this as it was a busy Sunday morning and therefore it is to be expected.
My main negative is that I asked for the pancakes without almonds and when it came out it was loaded with them. Now, this wasnāt an issue I reported as it is simply a taste preference for me. However, if I was allergic this would be a major concern and for all the waitress knew I could have been. When it comes to people omitting nuts from menu items, think that is something cafes should take much more seriously and therefore I cannot give more than a 4.
The manager provided us one of the best services we've in a while. Would highly recommend the bacon and cheese croquettes and crispy barramundi. Was surprised by the variety on the menu 10/10
Service -4 stars. It was a cold winter morning and we had two dogs with us. Without us asking, the lady owner moved our outside table nearer the door as it looked like it was about to rain.
Food- 3.5 stars if I could. Husband had the chilli scramble eggs which he really liked. I found it too sweet.
I preferred my Eggs Benedict although Iād have preferred more pork and apple.
Coffee was amazing.
Visited "Bob's Your Uncle" on the Saturday just gone and we are in love! Tucked away in Jackson Court this place really is a hidden gem.Ā Bustling but seated quickly and each of the staff we dealt with were lovely. Most especially the lovely owner Lisa who offered us menu hints and suggestions and checked with us that we were happy with our choices.Ā We struggled to choose as the menu was fantastic, but in the end settled on Super Food Salad (with Tuna), Bacon and Cheese Croquettes and Chilli Scramble.Ā All three dishes were absolutely divine and we spent the first couple of minutes after they arrived sampling each others meals with cries of 'you have to taste this!' The coffee too was a stand out.Ā The other dishes we saw making their way to adjacent tables looked not only insta worthy but delicious.Ā Will most definitely return.Ā Hint: park on the other side of the sporting oval and walk across as parking out front is limited.
We went here for lunch. It was very busy and hard to find a table, but the decor and staff were great! My dad ordered the superfood salad it was magnificent the flavours and the chicken in it were delicious. My mum had the croquettes and she really loved them, I would get them next time! I ordered to pumpkin and corn fritters they were delicious but very filling. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at bobs uncle cafe!

Wow what a find! Tucked away in the corner of Jackson Square is this little gem. My 2 brunch partners and I ordered the Chilli Scramble (yum) the Cheese and Bacon Croquettes (double yum) and the Superfoods Salad (just super.) Coffee was reallyyyyyyy good. The staff and owner Lisa were very attentive and friendly. Do yourself a favour and give Uncle Bob a try you will not be disappointed.
Iāve been here quite a few times now as I live around the corner but yesterday I tried a new dish on the specials menu and it was to die for š the smashed pumpkin is literal heaven so so so tasty paired with the beetroot purĆ©e and halloumi and perfectly poached eggs (as always). I really hope they add this to the menu permanently as it is one of the yummiest brunch dishes I have ever consumed! Always have a happy and delicious experience at Bobs šš»

I love the catchy name of this Doncaster Cafe, tucked away just off Jackson Square. Easy to overlook based on its location, but well worth discovering for its interesting varied menu and generous serves. The cakes cabinets were well stocked with delectable sweet treats and the cafe was buzzing when we arrived for a late brunch.
Bobs Your Uncle use local roast āGods Honest Truthā and we ordered lattes a piece, one with lactose free milk (tick). The coffee was smooth and mild.
We also had the smoothie āBobs gone cocoaā with banana, peanut butter, cocoa, chocolate almond milk & honey. This drink can only be described as a chocolate peanut butter sensation and was oh so moorish.
The menu read well and we took a while to decide between the many interesting dishes, but eventually settled on Porridge with caramalised banana, rhubarb, mixed berries, maple, strawberry labne and walnut praline. We were divided on this dish as to what we liked best. KDās favourite part was the caramelised banana, She loved the toffee flavour and crunch. I loved the creamy texture and taste that the labne bought to the bowl.
We also ordered the Smashed Pumpkin dish off the specials board. This was served on multigrain toast with beetroot hummus, haloumi and poached eggs. I think pumpkin smash can often be bland and lacking but I certainly didnāt find that here. In my opinion the key part of this dish was the fried kale which added a good savoury grounding to what was quite a sweet dish. The dukkah, pepita and pomegranates worked well and overall made this a terrific meal.
For our brunch dessert we had Chocolate Chip Pancakes which were seriously huge, rich and delicious. The pancakes came with caramel cream and maple syrup, the clever inclusion of tart strawberry labne and roasted almonds helped cut through the sweetness and added a lovely textural crunch. It was still a very sweet dish, but it was so hard to stop eating that caramel cream.
Throughout our meal staff were friendly and attentive and willing to weigh in on key menu choice decisions.

Bobās Your Uncle is such a cute and friendly cafe! Came in Saturday morning for brunch and had the Choc Chip Pancakes. The pancakes were super fluffy and was even better with the caramel sauce and the rhubarb! Would have loved it if there were more tangible chocolate chips though! The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Very happy to find a nice cafe in the eastern suburbs. Tables were a little bit too close to each other but acceptable as the cafe itself is quite big. Orders the chilli scrambled egg and eggs Benedict. Chilli scrambled was not too hot but came with a nice tangy flavour with a little bit of spice, up to standard. Eggs Benedict came out in pink, which was quite different to the usual eggs Benedict you find at other cafes. The sauce was surprisingly very tasty and the pulled pork was juicy. I was also very happy that I got a proper knife which I could easily cut my toast with. Too many cafes provide a normal butter knife which does not cut toast! Bonus points given to attention to detail.
Loved my experience at Bobs your uncle. Very friendly service and great coffee!

I had a terrific experience at Bob's Your Uncle. I tried the nourish bowl which was beautiful. The flavours were great and the serving size was filling. I loved the carrots and the hummus (it tasted really good - not sure if it's homemade) was delightful. A really fresh and healthy meal with generous proportions of all the ingredients e.g. avocado wasn't stingy. The service was friendly and the staff patiently helped us decide what to order. They also came around afterwards to see what we thought of the meal. It had a nice homely feel so I'll be back. The smashed pumpkin was also a winner.

Whoever Bob is, heās doing a smashing job with this cafe. Tucked away in a little corner slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main Jacksons Court restaurants, Bobās is a great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch.
The menu selection has a mix of standard brunch fare and some interesting, different dishes, and as a ānon coffee drinkingā cafe regular, I appreciated that Bobās is one of the increasing number of cafes offering options like matcha/beetroot/turmeric lattes.
We had two of the specials which were fantastic - the French toast with pandan & white chocolate sauce which was presented beautifully and tasted even more so (the mix of French toast, pandan sauce, ice cream and macadamia brittle worked a treat!); the crispy chicken ābaoā which came with three āmantou baoās and had just the right balance of spice and crunch. We also tried the potato & leek croquettes with cured salmon & poached eggs which was delicious.
Overall the food was so good that we forgot to take any pictures till we were halfway through our meal (and it is a pity we didnāt manage to get a pic of the presentation of the French toast with the bright green pandan sauce!), the service attentive and friendly, and the overall cafe ambience was bright, light and warm. Thereās a good chance this is fast going to become our favourite local cafe.
