Review Zero95 Pizza Bar - Doncaster East

Onnida Thammapratheep
Restaurant gives you good vibe and I was excited to try their food. We got there after 45 minutes drive. Ordered some food and drinks. Octopus entree: it was good and we both liked it. Side salad was dressed deliciously. Pizza: middle was a bit soggy but I don't mind it because the pizza was thin so it wasn't yucky soggy. Seafood spaghetti: it was wrapped in a paper bag which we didn't really understand why. Spaghetti was a bit hard and sauce was plain. Not to mention that paper was melting in with the spaghetti and I had the paper in my mouth too. It wasn't pleasant to eat at all. Once we told a waiter, he didn't say sorry and came across like we need to take the paper out because it's chef's recipe from Italy. My partner was shaking his head and he is Italian. Then he came back to offer us coffee on the house after he said he talked to a manager. We didn't have coffee as it was late around 9 pm. We went to pay as cashier and asked about the spaghetti in paper again. Why do you serve it in paper? Do you cook in them? Is it edible? And the answer was that it happens all the time and it was the dish from executive chef. I mean ... if you get negative feedback from some customers, not one. Then, maybe you should do something about it. Because of that experience, I wouldn't drive 45 minutes to come back here. Pizza was nice though, a bit pricey but you should try.

Been here over 30 times. Always great pizza. Very consistent. The atmosphere inside is warm and lovely. I would book on the weekend as they do get busy. Their Margarita pizza is a must try. Also the San Daniele Prosciutto is fantastic. Well done job guys. Keep up the great work. Came here for dinner yesterday. Had Margherita pizza, Spaghetti Bolognaise, and Calamari. The pizza was the hero in my opinion. The spaghetti and Calamari were great as well. Will definitely revisit one day.

What an amazing place! Food was delicious and so well presented. Pizza was a masterpiece. Friendly staff, nice music, incredible atmosphere. Such a great “ no pandemic “ feeling. We’ll be back for sure. Thank you guys for everything. 👍😉

Wow this place reached every expectation I had! From the service to the food everything was just amazing. We ordered 3 pizzas and an amazing dessert (“freak donuts with pistachio cream” HUGE MUST ORDER) The staff were incredibly friendly and warm! Will definitely go back in a heartbeat!

Best gluten free base EVER. You will not be disappointed. We had their award winning margherita and salami olive pizza. Very busy and rightly so, please ensure you book in advance.

Greatly enjoyed my dinner out at Zero95. We had a few pizzas and whilst not the Aussie style of lots of toppings, this is fantastic classic Italian with a twist. Had the Wagyu pizza and it was gorgeous! The bruschetta was also a hit, the goats cheese is melt in the mouth for sure! Highly recommend this place - particularly as the staff whilst busy are so helpful and like a laugh!

Probably one of the best pizza bases I’ve ever had. The 4 Carni was elite and the truffle one was also great. Pretty fast service too, actually incredibly fast

This Italian style wood-fire pizza is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and their Italian style donuts drenched in Nutella is mouthwatering. <br/><br/>I’ve tried a variety of their pizzas and not one has yet disappointed. The quality of each is just as good as the last.<br/><br/>Delivery options are available and service is quick. I only had to wait 10 minutes for my pizza. <br/><br/>Normally, dine in options are available with indoor and outdoor seating. <br/><br/>A really nice option for Summer.

Ive been here a few times over the years the food is always amazing prices are perfect and have never had an issue with customer service can’t wait to come back soon!

The brand new Zero 95 is amazing! They don't just do Pizza but they do so much more. We had a three course meal and everything we tried was perfect. A well executed menu, well presented, great flavours and great staff made our experience special. We left satisfied and content. We look forward to trying the Pizaa next time.

Best pizzas and quick service!! Would recommend the new partenope!!

ordered pizza at 5 was told 45 min to delivery phoned after 75 minutes left on phone for 7 minutes had to redial. Told pizza had not been made and they would be right on it another 45 minutes rang and told not made be ready in 5 minutes another 25 minutes to delivery. Shody rude incompetant. Also told on delivery they had melt down and I would recieve voucher to compensate for such poor service. Of course it hasnt arrived either after 7 days

I usually not a fan of Margherita....but I must say that they made me changes my mind. So good !
Anna0083
$27 for a capricosa with 2 extra toppings is absurd especially when it was an average pizza. And called up to order and the lady advised it would be ready in 5 mins. Arrived and had to wait 25 minutes for the pizza to be ready, when we got told 5 minutes!

This place is known for its Margarita Pizza, they won the best Margarita Pizza in the world award at the 15th Pizza Chef World Championship in Naples in 2016. Cooked to perfection, the base of their pizzas is well seasoned and has a distinct flavour to it, something I haven't had at other pizzerias before. A huge well rounded menu, has pretty much all Italian must haves on it including the range of salads, pastas, mains and dessert. Staff are the friendliest and happy to customise and cater to dietary needs such as allergy specific and gluten free requirements. Extra points to a quick service. This place is our local fav and we highly recommend for you to try this place if you haven't been here before.<br/>#mojolevel 5/5

Finally made it to World’s best pizza 2016 Zero95. We went here on a Sunday lunch and it was literally packed with people in and out. On the day we got:<br/>- San daniele classic pizza<br/>- Alicudi white base pizza <br/>- Gnocchi sorrentina<br/>- Polenta sticks<br/>- Carpaccio di bresaola<br/>The polenta sticks was light and fluffy and crispy, a perfect matched with truffled sauce, the perfect starter. The pizza here has thin crusts which are my favourite. The goat cheese on the white base pizza was so nice and creamy. And of course can’t say no to prosciutto on pizza. The gnocchi with fresh bocconcini were also so good. Definitely had a great dining experience, totally recommend this pizza bar to everyone!!

Immensely expensive food ! This would be ok if the end product was great. This is not the case in my opinion, the pizza was serviceable but nothing special. When spending sometimes close to 30 dollars on a pizza you want it to be pretty damn good. Otherwise the staff were great and friendly, very attentive.

Used Zomato Gold 1+1: seamless transaction, very friendly staff.<br/><br/>FOOD 4.5/5: the cheesy/creamy white base Amalfi pizza tasted surprisingly light but delicious. It could have benefited from more chilli, but the cream and prawn blended perfectly. San Danielle was excellent too, but a bit more cheese would have balanced out the slightly too salty prosciutto portions. The woodfire base and crust were chewy in a good way, and the char gave a classic bitter end taste to balance that savoury.<br/><br/>SERVICE 5/5: quick, easy-going, offered drinks and cleaned up efficiently.<br/><br/>ATMOSPHERE 5/5: nothing to fault with the outside area. The place is not too loud and everything is clean.

Another amazing wood fire pizza. Loved every bite. The gnocchi was really soft with tasty sauce and cheese.

Went there with my wife using the 1 for 1 Zomato Gold app. Had two pizzas, one margherita and one mushroom with truffle oil. Pizzas were great, the base was fluffy and slighly chewy, the way we like them. Topping were quite generous too without overpowering the pizza. Great value with the Zomato Gold discount. We'll definitely go back to try the other items on the menu. Our new go to local pizza joint in the area.
Catherine
Been eating here for years and recently started using the new Zomato gold promotion. Today I was told that I had to unlock and redeem the offer before even sitting down for it to be valid; they won't apply it at payment.<br/>Seemed to be a dodgy way to avoid honouring a promotion
Wendy
Fairly average. Visited with 4 of us, two of which had Zomato Gold. We ordered the truffled pizza, salmon and avocado cream pizza, mushroom risotto and the salumi board. The truffled pizza was the highlight of the night. The salumi board was plain, the mozzarella was boring, and we were only provided with 4 skinny breadsticks to accompany our meats. The salmon and avocado pizza, although I did not try it - the others thought it was strange. Mushroom risotto lacked flavour and was below average in my opinion. Lovely staff and lovely ambience. The 1 + 1 deal on Zomato gold is good for people who are looking to try things on the menu, if they haven’t been here before without the bill ending up hefty.
Julie
Food was amazing! Really good value using zomato gold offer. Service was good too. Will come back for more.
Rachel
We ordered with zamato gold, Both dishes were delicious, although we always prefer thin & crusty pizza but this thin and chewy pizza was yum! Prosciutto on the pizza was yummy no strong taste, seafood was fresh. Will go back again for sure!

Been here twice and food is always good. Always crowded with local families.

I was given a voucher to do the pizza Masterclass during which we were shown how to make the dough and then enjoy a pizza of our choice plus some dessert pizza. I took my dough home and gave it to my mum who created a delicious pizza of her own. I definitely recommend the class for those who have a passion for pizza as you’ll be taught by a chef with very impressive credentials <br/><br/>Further update<br/>We went with another couple to Zero 95 as my husband had been raving about the pizza and as one half of the couple was Italian they were keen to try it. Funnily enough the Italian wasn’t overly impressed with the pizza but absolutely adored the pasta. <br/><br/>I am however a huge fan of the pizza. Like they literally cook them in 90 seconds and they are on your table at lightening speed. The secret is in a very low quantity of yeast instead allowing the dough to rise over 24 hours; whatever they are doing is certainly working, Italy didn't even present me with a pizza that delicious. The prawn and lemon ricotta is insanely spectacular and my glowing recommendation.<br/><br/><br/>Update<br/>We found ourselves back at Zero 95 right when my husband and I were trying to eat healthily. We decided salads were the order of the day for us as the rest of our party indulged in pizza. The salads here are actually very yummy but really more of a side than a main event. I had the salmon with avocado and goats cheese which is a delicious combination. Next time I’ll be back on the pizza though, it’s just too good! <br/><br/>Original visit<br/>Zero95 won worlds best pizza in 2016 and the trophy is proudly displayed on the counter as you enter. I was personally more than a little sceptical having lost count of the amount of restaurants claiming this accolade but I immediately had a good feeling when I saw the place was packed and they were pumping out pizzas like nobodies business.<br/><br/>Four people four pizzas down and we were ready to order dessert. My pet peeve however was that the waitress didn't clear our table, she simply put the dessert plates over bits of cheese and crumbs etc (yes I know we made a mess, we were sharing). Was not at all impressed with that.<br/><br/>Out came 2 white chocolate strawberry pizzas with crushed up Oreos, a Nutella calzone and mini doughnuts with Nutella nuts and ice cream. Three delicious but the doughnuts were disappointing, I had expected them to be Nutella filled but they were just deep fried dough balls lacking the softness of the pizza dough. I will definitely be back and I already have plans to try the pasta having seen several impressive looking dishes come out of the kitchen. It's better than Gradi any day of the week

We came here to use Zomato gold. The service was quick and friendly, just the kind you would expect to find at any good family run Italian restaurants. Food arrived pretty quickly despite a lot of tables waiting for their food.<br/><br/>We had the Margherita pizza which apparently won some top award back in couple of years ago, which was yummy but just alright. The pear salads we had was really refreshing and delicious, so was the potato fries with truffle sauce.<br/><br/>Will come back again if ever in the neighbourhood.

Zero 95 Doncaster hosted our Xmas party function over the weekend and omg can I just say how amazing it was! No one left hungry and everyone kept boasting how great off a night it was! Thank you so much zero 95 your function room was amazing and easily fits 50x people with dancing space. Your staff were amazing and accommodated everyone especially the ones with dietary requirements. We had the 8 canapés and drink package and was worth every dollar. I highly recommend this place and function room as it’s great for events and I’m looking forward to having many more functions at this joint :) a big thank you again to all your staff.

Remembered coming here a few years ago and their pizzas were always amazing but our last visit was slightly disappointing - pizzas were slightly soggy. Perhaps left to stand for a tad bit too long.<br/><br/>Service-wise - we got told off at the cashier because we did not show our Zomato gold membership before we were seated. Slightly baffled as none of the other restaurants had any issues with it. Made us feel a little unwelcome.
Madhu
Amazing place with the best pizza and pesto pasta for us till date (we try one Italian resto per week and have been doing it religiously from 3 years in Melbourne) <br/>Again no doubt, Tiramisu is the goto dessert :)
KS
First time visit very happy. Friendly waiters. Will be back.

Great experience dining here. It is busy, so booking is a great idea. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The pizza is the traditional Italian pizza, fantastic. Fresh and light, you can see why it is award winning. A little on the pricey side but hey good things are worth it.
Jacqueline Galvin
Unfortunately my favourite local Italian place has lost its lustre. The calamari was undercooked (I reported this and it was not replaced and still charged to the account) and the pizza toppings were sub standard making it salty and inedible. Sadly the experience was both underwhelming and expensive and I am unlikely to return any time soon. I suspect the venue has had a change of owners. With plenty of competition in East Doncaster, these guys need to lift their game or risk many loyal customers exploring their options.
Jane Hawkins Peroni
We recently had our daughters 21st in the function room. We were absolutely blown away by the quality and the amount of food and the incredible service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend!

Booked through the Zomato app since they offer Zomato Gold, a nice pizza restaurant situated at the front of Jackson Court. Came here with a party of 3 to put a little twist on mid-Autumn festival dinner.<br/><br/>They were very busy (of course it's a Friday evening), we got sat down very quickly & near the kitchen (which I don't mind as I love watching all the different dishes being served). Great atmosphere for a family & even date night, great simple layout & design.<br/><br/>We ordered a pizza (salina), 2 pastas (gnocchi sorrentina & spaghetti pescatora al cartocchio) & 2 desserts (tiramisu & semifreddo). The portion sizes are very decent, which was enough to feed 3 adults.<br/>The pizza was very tasty with very nice crust, the gnocchi was very fresh & full of flavour & the spaghetti was interesting, since it came wrapped in baking paper, but the seafood was very fresh & also full of flavour.<br/>Dessert was a hit, it being light & very tasty (definitely always get dessert!).<br/><br/>Overall I'd give this place a 4.1/5 with it having a great atmosphere, friendly wait staff & fresh ingredients. <br/><br/>Thank you for having us!

Arrived without a booking but staff were happy to seat us as long as we'd be able to finish in 45 minutes which was fine.<br/><br/>We ordered the San Daniele and the Calzone. Both pizzas were cooked nicely, with perfectly crispy bases and crust. If you're after a classic pizza with basic toppings, I recommend the San Daniele, otherwise, I preferred the Calzone for flavour.<br/><br/>Service was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived in good time!<br/><br/>Also, don't forget to activate Zomato Gold 1+1 on food offer here is also highly recommended as it's such good value! The total bill came up to $26 as we didn't order any drinks.
April Maree
Pizza is amazing here - usually really good service but unfortunately tonight we waited 1.5 for food. <br/>The guys did offer us a free drink each which was nice of them. <br/><br/>If you’re hungry, definitely hit this place up!<br/>Their pizzas are huge.
Farzad Rahman
One of the best suburban pizza eateries in Melbourne. <br/><br/>What separates Zero95 from other top wood fired pizza places is their bread! It is unique, fluffy and damn tasty. Not only does it satisfy my emotions, the bread is so damn good that it even digests super well.<br/><br/>While some of their other menu items can be a hit or miss (entrees, pastas and dessert), their pizzas are always on point. Whether you like a Margherita or a 4 Carni (essentially meatlovers), this will hit the spot. <br/><br/>Overall I recommend coming here if you like pizzas (choose somewhere else if you want pastas or mains).<br/><br/><br/>

Definitely recommend pizza here to anyone. We've been coming to the restaurant often since we moved to Doncaster. Loved the truffle pizza and, 4 carni and mushroom risotto. All deserts are lovely, definitely worth trying!<br/>Relaxed environment and friendly staff as well.<br/>They also support Zomato Gold which makes it great value for money.
Lokey
Hair in food twice. First time I pulled it out of my mouth. They replaced the dish. Found it a second time. Disappointed.
Mae H
We found a blonde hair in our pasta. Sent it back. In our second dish, found a second blonde hair! When we paid, the man didn't even say sorry. When we brought it up, all he said was we don't have anyone with blonde hair. We are two Asians, so we don't have blonde hair either! Made us feel like we had deliberately put the hair on our dish... Twice! Seriously! Not happy. This is my first review ever, because I am upset at how we were treated.<br/>

Dinner for five and we were seated upstairs... nice and clean and very new. It took a long time to get served or drinks, they were busy but we are paying customers and whilst the waitress was very friendly and helpful she was run off her feet. It extra noisy upstairs, almost to a point where you need to tell to hold a conversation! The food arrived fairly quickly after or drinks, great meatballs, great polenta chips and a lovely calamari salad. We had a few pizzas to share and they were prefect, thin crust and just the right amount of topping. Perfect... definitely worth a return visit.
Gee
Average customer service experience for the first day of December. Don’t begrudgingly accept Zomato Gold and make us feel like you’re doing a big favour. We told the waitress before we ordered and she said to let you know when we pay. When we went to pay, the woman seemingly running the restaurant on this day told us she didn’t need to accept it. We’re repeat customers of 7 or 8 occasions. Is it really worth losing customers over? And then not removing the second most expensive item from the bill. It’s just petty. <br/><br/>Review from September 2019:<br/>4.5<br/>The pizzas here were near perfect. Quality, fresh toppings and a doughy base that wasn’t too heavy. Could not fault anything about the pizza. Tiramisu for dessert wasn’t to the same standard unfortunately. Will be back for another pizza! They accept Zomato Gold too.
Karina
Slow service however food was ok. I would have loved to rate these guys higher! We were given a table outside however no one brought us any menus and after almost 10 minutes we gave up and went and got them ourselves. At nearly 25 minutes we had to flag a waiter to take our order and ask for water and cutlery. The food arrived quickly after and was good, however we felt a little forgotten and just found that the service was really subpar. It was nice to note that they had heaters outside which made the atmosphere nice and cosy. Unfortunately the quality of the food did not make up for the lack of service we received. I doubt we will be returning :(
Bear Noms
We had the calzone which was amazing and fluffy. We also loved the 4 carni pizza which came with sausage, ham, salami, and panchetta. The Hawaiian pizza was average. We felt the food was slightly expensive but of quality and the place had a lovely Italian atmosphere.
Foodie
Had to choose set menu as father’s day. Paid $45 per head for starters (not big servings) and was expected to share 3 pizzas between 7 ppl and a canollini each - exorbitant. And did not get the Nutella pizza as listed on set menu. Service was also slow and we did not get asked about choosing pizzas until we actually ask the staff why is the food taking so long. Will not be returning.
Who Knows?
Poor service. Even took a bowl of chips away because they got an order wrong. <br/><br/>Service is extraordinarily slow. Waited a long time for food.<br/><br/>We wont be coming back mainly due to bad service. Zero 95 should consider this
Kevin Lau
My first time here using ZG and found that the food and service (NADIA) was both exceptional.<br/>Recommended place to go. Will be going back again soon. The grill octopus was a sensation.
Gavin
Visited Zero95 on a Tuesday at about 5pm. Restaurant had a few customers at the time, we were greeted at the door and seated quickly.<br/><br/>Service here was quite good, waiters were polite, professional and attentive.<br/><br/>We ordered Nonnas meatballs, Margherita and 4 Capri pizza. <br/><br/>Nonnas meat balls were lacking in flavour, but the strangest part was that two of the meat balls were completely cold, while the other two were warm at best. <br/><br/>The Margherita seemed really soggy, the cheese unmelted and hard. The biggest let down was that the whole bottom of the Margherita was burnt and black, so the taste of the burnt base of the pizza overtook all the flavours.<br/>This pizza apparently held the 2016 worlds best pizza, which does not hold onto that standard anymore.<br/><br/>The 4 Capri pizza was somewhat decent compared to the other two. This one wasn’t burnt so we were able to taste the flavours of this pizza.<br/><br/>Great service unfortunately let down by average food.
Kheng OMNOM
Great selection of pizzas, i loved the margarita the best as it was cheesy. What i really loved was the dessert!! The nutella donuts were the bomb!! So fluffy inside. The service was friendly and price was decent. Will be coming back
Aaron
The male waiters at this joint are extremely rude and unaccomodating. Made a booking in advance for 6 but was squeezed into an extremely small table on the ground floor even though turns out there’s a barely filled upstairs. This not only annoyed my family but also annoyed the other customers sat beside us which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. However, the female waitresses eventually sitted us upstairs.
Cheryl
Surprised to find good wood fired pizza and Italian food in this neighborhood. Service was fast and the ingredients used tasted fresh. Coffee needs some improvement but otherwise had a great lunch.
Ant
We went out for dinner as a group of five, the restaurant’s interior was very nice and spacious and the staff were lovely and attentive. However, we were seated at a ‘shared’ table, it was a large rectangular table with about 10 seats and we were seated along one side in a row which made it hard to communicate. There were also other people sitting in very close proximity which was not ideal. The pizza was very good, we especially enjoyed the crust however one tiny tweak would be if it was left in the oven just a minute longer to get more crisp. We also order two pastas, the prawn linguini and the gnocchi. Both were good but nothing spectacular. Overall a good experience, would return
Flying Forward
I'm not sure if Zero95 should keep marketing the "2016's World's Best Margherita" because quality has seriously slipped ... like an avalanche. <br/>Sitting right next to the kitchen, I could see everything going on. <br/>The pizzaiolo for the night was a very young but confident Italian kid, constantly playing around with the other staff in Italian like he's been working half his life. Decent skill in slinging the dough into shape, but fell short of topping. There was only 1 sad looking leaf of basil on the entire pizza.<br/>Onto the next kid turning the pizzas in the oven. Not enough time was allowed for the base to cook. The pizza was then lifted closer to the fire so it would get a char on the topping. It was seriously soggy and floppy, almost to the point of being mushy. <br/>Saving grace was the pasta - well cooked and had a nice bite. <br/>Maybe Andrea should come back and re-train all the pizza staff, because it was pretty underwhelming given the claim and the Zomato score (4.3 at time of writing).
Expecto
Having a nice lunch here. Staff are friendly and polite. service is pretty fast. The 2 pizzas were delicious. Next time will try risotto & pasta.

4.5🌟<br/><br/>I've been to Zero95 a few times as it is one of my favourite Italian pizza joints near home.<br/>Service is pretty good- the staff are very friendly.<br/>The pizzas are so delicious! I have tried the Margarita, Calzone, 4 Carni and San Daniele pizzas. All of them taste great!<br/>The seafood spaghetti and black squid linguine was very good too.<br/>The pannacotta is also soo delicious! Definitely a guilty treat.<br/>The downside is that the portion is just smaller than what I'd expect for the price I'm paying.<br/>I will definitely keep coming back (and then heading next door to Meno Zero for some yummy gelato)!
Ahmet Y
We arrived the restaurant on a busy weekday evening without booking.<br/>The staff was very helpful to arrange a table.<br/>We ordered two pizzas and wine.<br/>The food arrived without much wait and it was really delicious. Only one thing to improve could be draining the mozarella little bit more before placing on top of the pizza. Because after a couple of minutes the pizza has been little bit soggy, but not at a disturbing level.<br/><br/>We used zomato gold 1 on 1 deal without any issues.<br/><br/>Also the lady who served our table was so attentive and friendly.<br/>Definately will visit again.
Desmond Lee
Great food and awesome gold experience!! No limit on food options. I Recommend to skip the entree and just dig in to the pizza or pasta, you will be surprised you can finish a whole pizza!!

My Rating: 4.5<br/><br/>Zero95 Italian Pizza Restaurant serves delicious authentic Pizza. They are also the same owners as Meno Zero Gelato which is situated just 2 shops down! That's why their dessert menu at the restaurant is yummy haha!<br/><br/>The name of the restaurant is named after the area code of a small town called Catania "095" on east coast of Sicily which I think is quite special as its a tribute of their hertiage and where they are originally from! <br/> <br/>🔆LOCATION🔆<br/>Zero95  is situated on Doncaster Road, right next to Jackson's Court. There are plenty of parking in Jackson's court open space parking area.<br/><br/>🔆SERVICE🔆<br/>The restaurant is of a very decent size and is always busy even on week days. We made a table reservation ahead of time and as we walked in, was shown to our table straight away.<br/>The staff are very friendly and helpful. <br/>Originally we had wanted to order the pizza on the Special's board: <br/><br/>La Deliziosa, $28.00<br/>(San Marzano tomatoes, provolene cheese, marinated zucchini, fresh buffalo & San Daniele prosciutto)<br/><br/>However it was sold out, meaning they didnt have the key ingredients to make this type of pizza. We were soo disappointed but the waitress was extremely helpful and suggested to try San Daniele pizza which is similar and is quite tasty! We decided to go with her suggestion.<br/><br/>Our order came out quite fast and being such a busy night with practically all the tables filled with customers were were quite impressed with how promptly the kitchen staff cooked the food.<br/><br/>We were also suprised that there was music and lights shining when cakes were bought out to celebrate customers birthday which seems a very nice added service. On this night there were actually 2 different group tables that had birthdays haha!<br/><br/>🔆MENU/PRICE🔆<br/><br/>We ordered the following items: <br/><br/>Entree<br/>Polpette al Sugo, $15.00<br/>(Beef meatballs slow-cooked with rich tomato sugo)<br/><br/>Pizza - Frutti Di Mare, $28.00<br/>(San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, rocket and seasonal seafood)<br/><br/>Pizza - San Daniele, $25.00<br/>(San Marzano tomatoes, San Daniele prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella and basil pesto)<br/><br/>🔆VERDICT🔆<br/><br/>Service was great. The atmosphere was buzzing yet warm and inviting.<br/>Their pizza is made in a wood fire oven and the pizza base is nicely thin base which is just right.<br/><br/>The beef meatballs was well cooked, with the beef mince tender and good texture and just the right amount of flavour. The tomato sugo suace (made from ripe tomatoes cooked with extra virgin olive oil, onions and garlic) is well seasoned and complemented the beef meatballs.<br/><br/>The star pizza of the night was the San Daniele pizza which the waitress recommended for us. Simple ingredients yet delicious flavours! Yum! <br/><br/>The Frutti Di Mare (seafood pizza) was good, but lacked a bit of flavour. We added extra virgin olive oil for added taste which made it better.<br/><br/>I enjoyed Zero95 and will definitely go back as its in my hood :)<br/>After dinner, we dropped by next door to Meno Zero for gelato dessert! hehe.

Been here a couple of times since it opened and was delighted to find it in Zomato Gold.<br/>Seamless online zomato reservations made for Tues night dinner.Restaurant was very busy even at 8pm but the service was still fast and cheerful.<br/>Yummy truffle prosciutto wood fired pizza did not disappoint.Porcini risotto and polenta chips with truffle dip too. I would highly recommend pizzas as this is their specialty.<br/>Thanks Zomato Gold for a great deal.

This place is really worth the drive from the West. The truffle pizza is heavenly good. Foods are always consistently good and they always jammed pack busy. They also voted world best pizza whick i couldn't be agree more.
Foood4Dayzzz
Jeez, this place was fabulous. I tried the calamari which was delicious and then we finished off with the Nutella pizza sort of thing. Which was a clear standout. Definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. Great restaurant.

What an awesome place with those terrific food!<br/>Love them!Highly recommend the special ones which are AMALFI and FILICUDI!They are so good with wine!

Pizza is good 🌟<br/>But, the bruschetta was overpriced for the amount you get and was average at best. <br/>DO NOT get the beetroot salad, the honey was so overpowering and ruined the whole dish. $15 for leaves, a small amount of beetroot and cheese smothered with honey was a huge let down 🥵

Just brilliant pizza!! The mushroom truffle pizza was amazing. The margarita was my daughters fav and pear walnut Gorgonzola pizza is to die for. Best part was we got to take the extras home and enjoy it all again the next day.
Kayla Wong
Great food, friendly service, and reasonable price 👌🏼. Love the pizzas, especially the base! Pastas pale in comparison to the pizzas. only downside is that it can get really noisy upstairs with the background music and chatter.
Cate
Do not recommend this place at all - the staff are so rude and the food is average. We booked a table and were rushed through our meal, even though there were vacant tables both downstairs and upstairs.
Ziheng Wang
Best pizza bar ever tried out in Melbourne! My husband can’t get himself over the prawn pasta. Loved the 4 carni pizza and would definitely come back for the Salina!

We came here on a Thursday evening for dinner. The place was very busy and we were lucky to have secured a table by booking online. The music was a little loud and it made it quite difficult to have a conversation. Nonetheless, the pizzas were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the Salina pizza which was perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. My partner also enjoyed the Capricciossa. We will be revising soon!

This is my 3rd visited, the pizza still amazing! But disappointed to the bad service... Serving a drinking water with not "Gently" because of we are not order any drinks for start up? Secondly made a wrong order 2 pizzas instead of 3 pizzas without repeat order... Luckily we double confirm the order to the other stuff. Perhaps she is not well-trained🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway, hope the service will improve soon🤷🏻‍♀️ Awasome food but worse service.

They say third times the charm... unfortunately I cannot say that with Zero 95. This is in fact the third time I have come here and the previous 2 times were good. However, they fall so short of the mark tonight, I feel 1 star is 1 star too many. <br/><br/>Where do I start? When my mother ordered her wine, they mixed it up with another at our table and then got defensive when she questioned it and acted like she had done wrong. My brother ordered a Peroni off the tap which was flat and tasted like stale beer to say the least.<br/><br/>Then comes the epic fails of the evening. My mother ordered the “Baked Gnocchi”, pay close attention to the word BAKED. It came out clearly not & when my mother questioned them, they came out and fully admitted they don’t bake it when it’s busy as they are too busy with pizzas in the oven... seriously, what a joke and false advertising. No shame and no care for their patrons who are paying for something they are not providing. Then, my brother ordered the “Pasta Special” and they bring out the “Pizza Special”, he confirmed they heard wrong and then it took them 20 full minutes to bring out his meal. We had all finished eating by the time they came, what a joke and no apology. They simply said “the chef made it double size for you”. Double is not enough to correct this wrong. Not to mention it was not special at all. You can see by my photo that he didn’t even finish it.<br/><br/>I sincerely hope that management read this to learn that as paying customers, they need to treat us with respect and not lie. <br/><br/>Just shameful.

Heard a lot of good things about Zero95 so we decided to give it a try. The food is authentic Italian and they specialise in wood-fire pizza.<br/><br/>Of course, we had to try their Margherita, and it was delicious! The base was extremely thin and crisp, and overall it tasted very light. Would definitely recommend digging into the pizza first as it tastes best when fresh out of the oven (as it gets colder the cheese gets a bit hard). <br/><br/>The Chef’s Special Pasta was a rigatoni with beef. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was delicious. Nothing to fault!<br/><br/>A little bit on the pricy side ($48 for 2 dishes) but overall it was a good experience.

Came here with my friends and was ready for the best pizza in the area, and ended with disappointments.<br/><br/>We were first greeted by a rude staff at the front. Then once we sat down a waitress came immediately wanted to take our drinks order, which we didn't even had the chance to touch the menu yet.<br/><br/>We ordered 3 pizzas;<br/>Hawaiian - toppings were distributed unevenly leaving a lot of empty spots, and its too dry since it didn't have any sauce on it<br/>Margherita (worlds best in 2016) - perfect toppings ratio, however the tomatoes sauce was too wet making the dough wet as well<br/>Pozzuoli - this was the best out of the 3 pizzas we ordered, nicely balanced and dough was cooked to the right temperature<br/><br/>At the end of our meal we waited 10 mins at the registerto pay, it was almost like we were invisible to them.<br/><br/>

Delicious food, the staff were really nice and really enjoyed the experience, the variety of pizza options was also a big bonus. I had heard of Zero95 and it definitely reached the expectations!

Zero 95 has been on my list for a while with everyone suggesting that I should hit it up and they had won best Margherita in the world in 2016. So…I made a booking, snagged a table and got ready for a carby night with the girlies. The polenta sticks were frigging massive! They were literally blocks of polenta. We got blue cheese and it needed a bit more oomph. The polentas are delish and definitely get these if you enjoy a bit of polenta in your life.

This place serves the best pizza in Melbourne! We’ve ordered take away and have also eaten in. Some of the pizzas only use a few ingredients but because of the quality of the produce, it allows them to sing. <br/><br/>I know it’s sacrilege but I usually don’t eat the crust of a pizza. I feel it’s a waste of calories and don’t particularly love the taste and texture. This place is the only exception. The base is not heavy; it’s light and tasty. <br/><br/>The Amalfi is divine! (Ricotta cheese, mozzarella, prawns, chilli and parsley) It’s flavourful and creamy. For a chilli and salty flavour punch, the Positano is a great accompaniment (Hot salami, olives, mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes and basil pesto). I also cannot go past the simple, tasty Margherita (San Marzano tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and parmesan). What can I say about the Linguine Prawns (Tiger prawns pan tossed with cherry tomatoes, pistachio pesto & a touch of Napoli) Whenever the waiter places it in front of someone else, I am jealous. We usually order different dishes and split it, in order to minimise regrets.

Absolutely loved the food and ambience here! Staff were very good & the food tasted really nice. They even brought a candle for my sister’s birthday and played the ‘happy birthday’ song !! Highly recommend the Margherita pizza and doughnut dessert.

We have no idea if the food is any good at Zero 95. The gentleman on the door could not possibly have been any ruder, unhelpful or more obnoxious, so we went elsewhere. Maybe a course in customer service might help.

We have eaten here multiple times, morupe then 6 and have always been happy except for my past experience leaving us not wanting to return. We had lunch, the service wasn’t the best. There were 4-5 tables of people including us ( a very quite lunch service ) the staff looked lost and confused. I ordered an orange juice and watched it sit there for a while, whilst the waitress walked past it too many times when she wasn’t doing anything apart from pacing the dining room watching the customers. We ordered 2 pastas and a garlic focaccia, when the focaccia came out we were watching them try to work out which table had ordered it which was just silly considering we were the only table with no food. The garlic pizza was not consistent 1 peace being perfect with a good amount of herbs then another peace with nothing whatsoever ( a slap job ). The pasta then came there was a stringy peace in the pasta which I thought was a hair, I told the waiter and he took the plate and spoke with the chef, he then came back with the same plate saying that it was on the shell of a muscle, I said doesn’t that mean it wasn’t cleaned properly he said yes. He left me with the plate only to find that the black line on the back of the prawns weren’t taken out. I didn’t even bother to say anything we just wanted to leave and not return. At this point to say I had lost my appetite would be an understatement. My fiancé said her pasta was good as per usual. After this experience I can’t say we will be coming back. I rated a 2 and not a 1 because we had good past experiences.

Hands down the best wood fire pizza bar I’ve ever been! It was a very busy Friday, yet the service was exquisite, always asking if we need anything. The pizza itself was beyond amazing! The crust and base is very thin, so I was able to finish the entire pizza!!! Although it was thin, the crust was very fluffy and afterwards, you feel satisfied yet not bloated like pizzas do. Also, for those who are vegan, they also have vegan cheese and Nutella available so you don’t have to feel left out. Will definitely come back to try out the other pizzas and pastas they have!
