Ahhhh....Amy....you still got it! We have been frequenting Amy Dumpling restaurant regularly and she never disappoints.
On this occasion, we had the wonton noodle soup and of course, the pan fried dumplings. The noodle soup was of a generous size and the wontons were filled with meaty deliciousness. Meanwhile, the dumplings were fresh and tasty. The crispy base and juicy filling made it a wowza experience...as always.
This place has been fairly consistent in terms of quality of the food and service. So it's still a thumbs up for Amy!

We had the pork dumplings as well as the prawn dumplings - both did not disappoint. Great big chunks of meat wrapped in a crispy shell....yum yum!
The beef brisket noodle was tasty with generous pieces of meat. Their spicy chicken with rice was just right and it went well with the hot and spicy soup.
Service was warm and friendly.

Used to go to Amy's restaurant in Box Hill and enjoyed the wonderful food there for many years. Then place changed hands and place went downhill fast so didn't return. Learnt of her new location in East Doncaster and went there to find that food and service was as great as ever in nice modern restaurant with parking right outside the door. Had won ton soup, chilli beef and dumplings and they were all outstanding.
Amy’s Dumpling Restaurant offers lot more than a normal dumpling place. Lots of delicious food as “ curry laksa fish head”, “sweet and sour pork ribs”, “fish in hot chilli oil”, “king prawn rice noodle”gave us the the best taste of Chineses cuisine. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is one of the best eateries in the area.
Great dumpling restaurant tucked away on the Blackburn Road strip. This restaurant provided great value with large portions, especially with the noodle soups! Try their beef brisket noodle soup, pan fried pork dumplings! You’ll love it!
Love Amy Dumplings! A staple in our household when we're too lazy to cook. It's great value and the portions are generous. The Laksa, fish head noodle soup, ckt, and dumplings are always good!

Standard Asian takeaway with great dumplings 🥟 big fan of the pork ones and the wontons. Definitely a busy weeknight staple when no one can be bothered cooking. The portions are great for the value and usually my family gets 3 dishes to feed a family of 5.
Love the wanton. Dumpling skin is bit too thick but ok. Recommend if you want to grab a quick meal. Don’t expect a nice interior deco though.
Amy Dumpling is the best Chinese in Doncaster. We live local and have tried nearly every Chinese restaurant in the area and Amy dumpling ticks all the boxes! The most delicious dumplings and other traditional dishes. Whether you eat in or take away you won’t be disappointed. Great value. Friendly service. Great quality food.
Really good dumplings. Ordered UberEATS and was not disappointed. Also brownie points because just ran out of soy sauce at home and asked for extra and got a LARGE TUB SO THANK YOU!! Will definitely be ordering again 😊

Small casual place, very busy on the Thursday night we visited. Food was very good and serves generous. The noodle soup ordered by our daughter came out in a decent sized saucepan!! Standouts were wontons, a spicy pork dish and fish in chilli oil, which was like a chilli broth with a very generous amount of good quality fish pieces. Service was rushed but pleasant. Think this will be a regular for us.
Great Dumplings and Food with Friendly Service - Cheap too!
This place is a great little place for a hearty meal. The dumplings are plump and cheap (approx 15pce for $10) and their otber dishes are light (not oily or overly salty). Waitress is friendly and efficient even though the bosslady at the counter is a bit of a grump.
I can’t believe I have not discovered Amy’s dumplings sooner! The staff were super friendly, the menu has a great variety at a reasonable price and food came out relatively fast. Ordered the dumplings in chilli soup, fried rice noodles with beef and the mini pork buns. The mini pork buns were the absolute highlight they were delicious full of flavour I just loved them. I will definitely be returning and recommend to those in the area!
Found the original David and Camy (box hill) owner! So happy because they're food was good and they'd left the box hill precinct.
Ordered char kway teow and hot & sour noodle soup with dumplings (special request). Did not disappoint! The chat kway teow had such good flavours and the smell of it being cooked from a wok! Talk about authentic!
The dumplings were as good as expected from previous restaurant. Was so full but worth it!
Friendly and efficient service. The popular panfried pork dumplings were succulent.Good value (15 dumplings for $10). Crispy fried chicken wing is a good buy at $6 for 6. Loved the freshly made chilli oil heaped with shallots. Ordered the Singapore Fried Noodle --reasonably sized fresh prawns but I wished the serving was bigger.Spicy chicken dry noodle -loved the chicken but I still prefer that from Yang's wok in Bayswater.
Quite enjoyed my dinner here! I had vegetarian steamed dumplings and Singapore noodles which were the winners. Also had spring onion pancakes which were nice and crispy on the outside but maybe a tad thick in between, still pretty tasty. The fried sliced rice cakes were ok. Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!
I was skeptical. Thought another dumpling place in the 'burbs, boring as hell. Went there because I got good reviews from two different groups of friends. I was surprised. Good service, albeit a bit slow for the dumplings. Noodles and others dishes were quick. Two young teens and two adults. We are our way through two bowls of noodles, a fried rice, a bowl of soup and 30 dumplings. We could have rolled out we were so full. $61!!!!!!!
This place is great if you just want some decent hot and fresh dumplings. We got the steamed and fried pork dumplings $10 for 15. Fried rice was really average but the Chinese broccoli with garlic sauce was served hot and crunchy. THE PUMPKIN CAKES FOR DESERT ARE A MUST.
Ambiance: ply wood tables and seating with bright florescent lighting. Makes for a decent spot to frequent with a group of friends and family.

Not just dumplings at this place. Tried the fish head curry laksa and was not disappointed. Fish fried very well although it was rather boney. However the laksa was very flavorsome and aromatic. You almost want to not waste the remaining soup by ordering some crispy bread of some sort to dip into the soup. CKT was a tad oily but yummy. It was a bit odd to see a lady (owner) standing over a table to wrap a tray load of dumplings whilst chatting to a friend near the shop entrance.... in her casual wear?!
A new and simply outfitted Asian restaurant with some potential to be a regular spot for some good food.

Ordered take away - servings are fresh, generous and delicious! Won tons (hand made) were lovely, noodles silky, broth and stir fries not greasy at all! Already looking forward to making a return trip.
Newly opened Amy Dumpling provided delicious, authentic food, friendly staff and wonderful prices. I came with my sister and we ordered the Spring Onion Oil Dry Noodles, Pumpkin Cakes (8pcs) and Vegetarian Dumplings (15pcs) which all came to $22 plus complimentary tea. I am looking forward to coming back to try more on the menu!
