Review Cafe Julia - Doncaster East

Dave
Can’t beat a well cooked brekky with a good coffee, sitting back reading the paper with the sun shining through the windows and idle chatter from the locals. Great staff, great atmosphere and decent prices. Thank you for starting my day off in the best possible way.

Unfortunately I didn’t love this place. Understand they are busy, but there is no greeting.. standing in front of the counter for 5 min.. no one care ;( shame.. The cafe owner doubt my review after 2 months since I wrote it.. I’m always honest as you can see on my other reviews. Hope the owner accept this review with sincerity and improve their service.

Have seen better cafes, and much better customer service. Had to wait more than half an hour for pouched egg on toast. Very average coffee.

The owners down at Juilia's Cafe are true gentleman and the quality for the food is second to none. Highly recommended homemade vanilla slice is to die for.👌

The quality of the coffee as well as the food is awful. The service and the manners of the staff members as bad as it could get. I honestly don't understand how shops like this survive 😕

Great cafe, very friendly staff and the bonus they are open from 6am when I'm on my way from work.

Excellent coffee and food. Very friendly atmosphere. My wife loves their vanilla slice. Will visit again. Plus they had the English Premier League on telly... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Did have coffee there pre Covid when walked with friend. But discovered they have the best Vanilla Slice around. Would wait to get one from Brentford Monsieur Dupont for husband the lover of this treat. Don't have to drive further than my local shops now. Problem have more requests for them.

Some people say she makes great coffee. Some people say it's the great food. They are all right. Apart from that, Julia, for me, was an experience like no other. I shall return Julia, I shall return ❤️

They have the best vanilla slice! It's a must try!

Girlfriend invited me here for a quick catch up. What a lovely place. Do love Jackson Court. There is alot here to see and certainly great places to eat.

The coffee was good - cake even better.

Staff are just lovely and very helpful.

Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Plenty of parking.

Nice cafe with great coffee. I had the almond latte which was good. Second time having coffee here. Very helpful staff who suggested the veggie quiche since I didn’t want anything with cheese. It was delicious. 👍🏼

Old style cafe ....

Changed hands a few times I believe.

Standard coffee, comes with your typical late 80's early 90's menu.

Quite prominent back then, however there are more contenders at Jackon's Court now.

Best little cafe in doncaster, fantastic range of food, including sweets that are made in shop like the vanilla slice which is amazing. Coffee is great and high quality and probably one of the best in area. The staff are always frenziedly and fun to talk with.
