Great little place. I’ve never eaten so much gelati in my life! The kids really enjoy watching them make their desserts through the window at the back of the shop too.
Pros: needed a place like this, nice vibe, awesome taste, love the late opening hours!!

Cons: Guy working behind the bar was depressing, lost all his life and soul... Was he conscripted by someone? is his mum the owner?

Although, Meno zero are well known for their creamy italian style ice cream, they offer a lot more than just ice cream, such as, semifreddi monoportion desserts, homemade cheesecakes, slices, crepes and cannoli.
Recently I tried 3 of the monoportion dessert: pear, meno rocher and pistacchiosa. Besides all being delicious, they all looked so adorably cute! I also tried the oreo cheesecake but was very much disappointed by it; however, this won’t stop me from returning in summer for a scoop or 2 of their ice cream.
Meno Zero Always provides me with the best service. I usually order through Uber Eats. 500ml tubs are packed to the rim, you really get your money's worth. Love the tiramisu, Nutella and Salted Caramel Cheesecake flavours
The service was fantastic, cheerful and polite. The desserts looked amazing so we had to try them, even a friend who is not a "sweets person" wanted one. The coffee was good standard.

Really love getting icecream and cannoli from here. Always good quality and fresh. Perfect amount of flavours to choose from. All rich and exciting. Gorgeous little cakes as well. Memo Zero is a really tasty ice cream store, that has a whole range ice cream, with its variety in flavours.
We came here last night for some ice cream after eating at Jade Fox, which is a lovely Thai restaurant around the corner from Meno Zero.
It’s worth getting the 3 scoops, as it’s fantastic value and it truly was a perfect treat to indulge in for my friends and myself.
I definitely recommend, that this is a must go to place, for ice cream lovers.
If I could eat the Sicily ice cream everyday I would I love this beautiful place and the food is always amazing :) and the service is fantastic
It's amazing to be able to find a gelato shop in Doncaster East ...and right next to one of the best pizza restaurants in Melbourne too!
Meno Zero has covered the outdoor section of the shop front so you can enjoy their gelato in the comfort of a heated area.
I had 2 generous scoops - ice coffee and dark chocolate and cherry. Both were very delicious. There was a strong coffee flavour and it was not too sweet. The dark chocolate was excellent married with the cherry taste which was not too overpowering or artificial.
Service was pleasant. Definitely a must visit place during summer on a sunny day!

Meno Zero is my favourite go to Italian Gelato shop in my hood! I visit this place quite regularly (even in Winter haha).
Meno Zero has been around in Doncaster since October 2017 and its a wonderful addition to the area.
🔆LOCATION🔆
Meno Zero is situated on Doncaster Road, right next to Jackson's Court. There are plenty of parking in Jackson's court open space parking area.
The shop is of a decent size, with a few tables and chairs outside ( in winter they have added extra coverage from wind/rain) and inside as you walk in to the right there is the long counter with cannolli, 2 long fridges of sorbet and gelato flavours, and at the end 2 counters are their specialty cakes. Also at the front near the window, there is a tall clear fridge with larger cakes for birthdays etc. They rotate their specialty cakes once in a while.
Along the left hand side there are about 5 tables with chairs.

The girls at Meno Zero are very friendly. Always able to give suggestions if stuck with options and of course you can test-taste flavours as well.
🔆MENU/PRICE🔆
Their most popular gelato flavour is "Siciliy" which has pistachio, nutella and ricotta! It's super delicious and also one of my favourite. When I was first introduced to it by one of the staff, I was a bit apprehensive as ricotta just seems too weird, but suprisingly all the flavours worked well! Yum Yum yum!
Recently they added donuts to their menu which I have yet to try as I only visit Meno Zero for gelato.
They even serve vegan gelato for those that are interested and have a full list of coffee's.
Another thing you should know is that they make Gelato Milkshake! Yum yum yum!

Gotta love this place. Ice cream with real flavour. I suspect it’s the real thing smashed up and put in ice cream. Simply the best and worth the drive.
Wonderfully warm staff and a great selection of sorbet and ice cream flavours! The pineapple sorbet and Nutella ice cream were delicious. They also sell a lovely range of large and small finely crafted cake sweet treats.
Gelato is delicious! Great selection of flavours, ranging from fruity sorbets and creamy gelato. I always opt for the fruity ones (lemon in particular) and it never disappoints!
The only thing that could be a bit better is the way people are served. At busy periods, it gets pretty crowded and sometimes people who ordered later, get served first.
All in all, lovely staff, great gelato!
Meno Zero is located on Doncaster Road in Doncaster East. They offer an impressive range of gelato flavours as well as desserts & cannoli. We popped in for gelato after lunch on a hot day, it seemed many other people had the same idea.
With a wide range of flavours, it was hard to pick but the staff were happy for us to taste a few. I got the dragonfruit & the watermelon gelato. The colours were gorgeous & the watermelon was my favourite. My friend opted for the tiramisu & baci flavours & loved them both. The flavours change regularly which makes me tempted to visit more often.
We were impressed with the service, the range of dessert options & the create your own cannoli section. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

A really popular gelato and dessert store in Doncaster that is always packed with people. They have a large variety of different flavours that change often, including charcoal vanilla, pistachio, dragon fruit and kinder biscuit. They also offer sorbets for non-diary eaters, which is amazing!
The gelato itself is extremely creamy, even the sorbets. Because of this, it is really soft so you must be careful if you're ordering double or triple scoops. One thing that is different is that you have to pay before ordering, and depending which server you get, the scoop sizes can vary.
I've never had a dessert here, but they also offer crepes and other desserts. I can't wait to come back to try them, as well as the other flavours.

Finally tried this busy ice cream shop and boy did it hit the spot. I was surprised to find a ricotta ice cream with cannoli pieces - it was just divine!! I also tried the caramel cheesecake and that was simply delicious. Also tried the Bacio and that was yummy. The service was outstanding. The two girls working this afternoon was super friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be going back!
Meno Zero is our go-to icecream joint in Doncaster. The area lacks dessert parlours but this one definitely hits the spot. They have a large variety of cakes, icecreams and drinks and is definitely a must try.

Meno Zero is a gelato and dessert bar located along Doncaster Road in Doncaster East. I recently stopped by to purchase some desserts for sharing and was not disappointed.
After spending several minutes deciding what to order, I opted for the lemon meringue mousse tart, the seasonal santa clause, the pear and the magic ball. All of the desserts were beautifully presented, I especially loved the detail in the Santa. I didn’t find them to be overly sweet although some are sweeter than others.
The Santa Claus filled with a vanilla mousse & strawberry centre with a coconut & pistachio sponge base tasted as good as it looks and is one for the strawberry lovers. The lemon meringue tart is a great option if you prefer your desserts to be a little less sweet. Whilst if you’re a sweet tooth like myself, than the pear with white chocolate mousse & pear purée centre atop a choc shortbread base is the way to go. All of the flavours worked so well together. The glamorous sparkling blue Magic Ball is filled with dark chocolate mousse atop raspberry and vanilla sponge is perfect for the chocolate lover.
Overall I enjoyed the desserts from Meno Zero and hope to return to try the gelato. I recommend that you check them out and I give them 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5.
Busy crowd on a Saturday night around 7ish. Not many tables so be prepared to do takeaway. Lots of gelato and sorbet flavours to choose from. $7+ for a three-scoop cup. Will come back for the desserts as they looked so yummy on display.
This place seems always packed with people every time I drive past at night, so I decided to pop in and get few cakes to try at home. The Fragolina and Chocolate Pear were quite nice, however the Ferrero Rocher were way too sweet for me. Overall, it is nice to have a dessert bar in the area.
I was going to a friend's house for dinner and decided to bring some desserts. I stood in front of the display undecided what to get. Luckily the staff gave me some recommendations.
Of all of the ones I purchased, I love all except the pistachio one, which seemed to be overtaken by the other three. The pear one has a pear purée centre which taste so delish. The chocolate Roche was my favourite, maybe cos I love chocolate and I may be a little bias. I'm not really a lemon tart person, but the lemon mousse tart was light and refreshing. I actually liked it.
Overall the desserts were good and it wasn't overly expensive. I would definitely try the other ones next time.
I got 3 scoops nutella lemon and mango and my god did all three flavours make me happy, the mango actually felt like I was eating a mango, lemon was surpurb and finally found a awesome nutella ice cream
The ice-cream here was quite delicious however quite expensive for one scoop compared to a few other places. I got the strawberry cheesecake flavour which was quite nice but nothing I haven’t had before - the Nutella flavour was quite nice !
We came here very randomly. Cakes are really cute. I love the strawberry one and ocean blue design.. that is cool! Not too sweet! We love all the cakes!
Wow. What amazing and delicious desserts and ice cream! My wife is a patisserie chef (and I'm just a sweettreat-a-holic) and Meno Zero Gelato and Dessert Bar has the best Pistachio Gelato we've tasted anywhere in the world. The cakes are just beautiful with exciting flavour combinations, and it's a nice relaxed place to enjoy some stunning treats.
The ice cream is so good! I’ve been a few times as I can walk up from my apartment. Busy most times (even in winter)! On Mondays (at the moment), they have buy one scoop get one free! How can you go wrong?!
Went here last night around 9.30ish and people were still coming in to get dessert & icecream. They had a great range of flavours but i always go with gelato! I got strawberry and lemon gelato in a waffle cone. The lemon tasted like normal gelato but the strawberry one was amazing! It tasted so refreshing and actually like strawberries i loved it. Next time i would love to try one of there other desserts as they looked tasted and pretty.
We ordered a birthday cake and tiramisu for dessert for a recent birthday celebration and it was divine! The tiramisu was so beautiful and the small glass size was ideal to serve our guest. The birthday cake was so beautiful with chocolate and vanilla ice cream.. thank you for making our birthday party a beautiful one! Heard this place was good, the fig and ricotta is hands down the best ice cream I have ever eaten. Gluten free cones which is also a win 👍🏼👍🏼

Yummy ice cream with a wide variety of flavours. When sitting inside one time I did notice the ridiculous amount of flies and insects inside their ice cream making kitchen, a little off putting. I also once had a dessert cake there and it was off, also quite pricey. I would go there for the ice cream and ice cream only! It’s very tasty!

After conquering the pizza world with their classic margherita in 2016, the guys from Zero95 have expanded into gelato. Meno Zero (“below zero”) opened in 2017, a couple of doors away from the original Zero95 in Doncaster East. And it serves up some of the best real Italian style gelato in Melbourne.
The icy blue-green fitout is a clean, Scandinavian-style design very different to the cheery Italian exuberance of its pizza sibling. There are several tables inside and outside on the wide footpath.
At any time there are around two dozen flavours, which change from day to day. Every flavour we have tried is superb – beautiful dense creamy texture, super intense flavour, and the elasticity of great Italian gelato. Some of our favourites: ricotta & fig, dark chocolate sorbetto, passionfruit sorbetto and hazelnut. Meno Zero also has a range of spectacular cakes.
In the evenings when it is super crowded you need to pay and collect a docket before you choose your gelato flavours – but in the daytime Meno Zero is a bit more relaxed.
Came across Meno Zero after driving along and noticing a new dessert bar had opened.
We had the following gelato flavors :
1. Caramel Cheesecake
2. Pumpkin and honey
3. Tiramisu
4. Nutella
On the initial taste, every flavor tasted beautiful but the more I ate the more sweet it was. In the end, I decided Meno Zero is one of the sweetest icecream/gelato places I have ever tasted. Big tick if you have a very big sweet tooth but not so much for me.

Nice discovery after I finished lunch in Malaysian Kitchen. This satisfies my craving on sweets on a hot and raining weather.
The cakes looks nice and I am glad it is in single portion instead of only sharing portions. Also, the gelato is not too sweet and really smooth, happy to see new dessert place in the suburbs.
Ordering system is definitely the downfall to thus place. It should be the other way around if you only want one person handling money. Order your ice cream then pay. Most reviews say the same thing oh and maybe be a bit more generous on the napkins, one very fine napkin doesn’t do the job.
We always come here for late night ice cream, they have a great variety of flavours and the texture is really great! When I went, the lady who served us was very nice and let us try a few flavours with a positive attitude. Even when the store was about to close, and a flock of people came in the ladies still were happy to serve them. Only fault would be the line up system- but overall great go to spot.

Beautifully presented desserts with lots of variety. The desserts we tried were filled with mousse or cream with not much cake base. Will appeal to those who like that type of desserts. Sweet desserts, best consumed with a cup of coffee. We went at lunchtime today. The waitress was friendly. We sat outside and only paid for our desserts and coffee when we finished.

On a visit down from Brisbane to see family and in search of a good coffee, my sister and I happened upon Meno Zero. We were delighted to find this amazing little Italian gelato and dessert parlour. The staff were amazing; so friendly and welcoming and the service was incredible. We taste tested some flavours and then ordered. We were welcomed to sit down and didn't need to settle the bill until afterwards. The gelato was incredible (I really loved the vegan dark chocolate gelato) with generous servings at a good price and the coffee was the best we'd had in a long, long time! The desserts looked like works of art as well! True Italian delicacies and true, warm Italian hospitality. We absolutely loved it - Irene makes an amazing coffee! We'll be back whenever we visit from the Sunshine State for sure!

Fresh new gelato hang out spot with chill vibes - gelato flavours are pure and full of goodness, no ‘artificial’ or store bought tastes, and there are many different flavours on offer.
Ordered a double scoop in a cup, pistachio and mango flavours, which were amazing. Mango gelato tasted quite similar to my own homemade version, and I’m normaly not a pistachio person but this one was sooo gooood.
Love that the gelato at this place is not too sweet, and does not substitute flavour or quality with additives. You can also watch how the gelato is made in-store.
I’ll definitely be back as the weather warms up - perhaps will try their unique desserts and their gelato drinks next time :) thumbs up to this place 👍🏼
Nice addition to the area. I’ve had lemon, hazelnut and tim tam and they’ve all been good. They also have desserts and crepes but I cannot vouch for them. This place gets really busy on hot nights, although service is fast, don’t expect greetings or basic customer etiquette.
Melbourne’s hot week ended with a gelato stop at the new Meno Zero. We were unaware we had to buy before we ordered and worked that out as we went to order the ice creams & were told we needed to pay at the counter first.
We got the flavors raspberry, strawberry and lemon. We were feeling fruity just due to the hot muggy weather but they do have a variety of flavours that include Nutella and Tiramisu. This place also has a variety of cakes / sweets which we will be back to try!
Nothing special, and servings are not generous (bought two tubs.. 1L and 1/2L - $45!!!) felt I got totally ripped off ! Way too expensive for the quality and service.
It’s finally open! Another great place for dessert after dinner in the area. Passeggiata lifestyle as it says in Italian. Lovely shop interior with friendly staff. Quite a wide range of ice cream flavours to choose from. Haven’t tried their dessert yet but they do look yum!
Great place for icecream. The venue is small but the owners have a good setup which means that the queue moves quickly and efficiently. We tried a few flavours, all were delicious, but the pear and hazelnut were the favourites. Well worth a visit when you’re on this side of town.

Flavoursome and smooth ice cream. It just opened and I think it's a great addition to this area, especially with it's late opening hours. We went at 10pm on a Thursday night and it was still busy. Meno Zero has a light coloured and modern interior which suits a gelato shop. As for the gelato it tasted fantastic, and i'll definitely come back to try other flavours or perhaps one of their desserts on display.
Came here to pick up some ice cream on Monday and they have a wide range of flavours available as well as cakes and cannolis. I picked the Meno Zero, Pistachio and Choc Mint. Meno Zero was a sort of chocolate swirl flavour and the other flavours are pretty self-explanatory. Gahd dayum, they were all so good though, would definitely come back and get more. The ice cream was so juicy and creamy and the Meno Zero had chocolate bits in it to my surprise.
Been here a couple times for Ice-cream dates and for Ice-cream cakes. Great experience all round!

One of my favorite Gelato Shop in Mel. The shop brings back a lot of good memories to me，before the next door restaurant moved, I always like come in here after finish the dinner. You always can find the Delicate / Creative / Delicious cake in there . The Gelato ingredient fresh and rich, Mango and Pistachio is my favorite one and they also have some limited flavor like Dragon Fruits and watermelon you hardly get it in any others shop.
