ā€˜The Pinesā€™ is where I do much of my grocery shopping but today I was hungry for a good light meal and passed this newish restaurant Three Red Stripes. What a breath of fresh air in culinary tastes. I wasnā€™t sure what I wanted but a few diners had their meals so pointed to one that looked tasty and the waitress told me what it was and I ordered it. $13ish for An amazingly fresh serve. The portion size was generous and canā€™t rave enough about how light and flavoursome the meal was. You can eat in or outdoors plus takeaway of course. Staff were delightful and extremely helpful. My faith in Vietnamese restaurants restored! Thank you. Note: kid friendly, high chairs available, wheelchair friendly, good parking.

Best local Vietnamese restaurant! Staff are always friendly. Pho, rice paper rolls and spring rolls are delicious. It's a must try! My kids love this place. Edit: I strongly believe that three red stripes has changed owners as the entire floor staff has been replaced. Although the pho remain the same, the beverages are only half filled and the other half are crushed ice. Previously I'd say 1/4 ice and 3/4 drink, which is more reasonable. Our family will still dine at three red stripes but definitely less often now.
