Who doesn’t love a good pancake at odd hours of the night? I love coming here to catch up with friends. A must for me is the loaded potatoes with bacon cheese and sour cream! I also really love the savoury crepes

The pancake parlour has all these amazing specials and deals that are great for a family wanting to enjoy a good morning out together with a bit of fun. The pancakes are of a great quality and the service is quite good.
First time I’ve been to Pancake Parlour in over a decade, and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the experience. All staff were very friendly and very welcoming towards the kids in my party. The Friday specials were awesome value. I loved the booth seating, and whilst the interiors are a bit kitsch (the pancake train), it created a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to return.
Ate here tonight with kids and it was very pleasant. Had the $5 Friday specials which were great value. Service was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our waitress was lovely and really went above and beyond to cater to our requests. Will be back!

Food: ordered the salted caramel sweet pancake and the cheese and potato pancake. They were both delicious, however pricing is a little expensive.
Service: the service was really great! When we asked for no butter on the cheese and potato pancake, the guy serving us even offered to replace it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side! Only con for service would be, as the restaurant is very big, it is hard to catch the attention of the servers at times.
Overall, a very pleasant experience
This is our go-to restaurant for most of our family celebrations. I find it very difficult to choose between sweet and savoury pancake because they are all amazing! Ambience is very pretty and I fund this place to always be busy no matter what time if the night.
I'm addicted with the pancake. The service is always good from my experience visiting this place multiple times. My whole family loves it! Can't wait to order take away for my breakfast tomorrow.
Look at this beautifully plated tiramisu pancake stack. The choc chips, ice cream and syrup all provide a great texture to the pancake with the first bite
But look at my water, the glass has a speck of dirt in it or some sort of rubbish. Staff needs to pay more attention food and drink they bring out. Something as simply as a glass of water threw me off and gave me the impression that maybe things are not being cleaned back there

This pancake parlour brunch is open 24/7 and I’m not ashamed to say I’ve been there in the early hours of the morning post a night out for a sugar fix. Every PP legit looks the same interior wise and tastes the same food wise. It feels like it’s been consistently so since I’ve been a kid. The chocolate jubilee is my fave but the Swiss mountain malt is always pretty popular if you’re thirsty. They have house made lemonade too
Best hot chocolate they have got. The food is average ( had the Mexican chicken crepes) except very very pricy . Was a bit unhappy with the service provided cuz the waiter too our mains down then we told her we shall order dessert later, she said that's fine and left and never returned . There were other waiters around but no one took notice of us and at the end we waited around 20min for a waiter to notice us and since no one came we left without dessert which was disappointing.
Always enjoy a nice pancake from here and love that it's open 24 hours! Crepes and coffee are also good! the staff is quite good as well. definitely recommend!

The place is an institution! I love the fact that it's open 24 hours and located in the burbs and great for all ages. The food is good and their pancakes and special fudge sauce is amazing and can't be missed when visiting :)
Brought my daughter (Alice) along for the first time and ordered her an Alice in Wonderland. She absolutely loved it. Friendly staff, warming menu, great atmosphere. Lovely!!
I came to try the new vegan menu. Ordered the Bavarian Apple crepes - filling was as good as I remember although the crepes are a touch rubbery. Also ordered the peanut butter chocolate banana which once again had a super delicious filling. Also tried the Swiss mountain chocolate malt which wasn't as malty as I remember the non-vegan one being. Hoping they veganise the Alice in wonderland so I can relive my childhood.
I haven't been to Pancake Parlour in over 10 years. Came in to try new Plantcrepes off the new vegan menu. I had strawberry one. It was very tasty and full of fresh strawberries. Also had soy ice cream on the side. Very friendly staff. Like their new vegan menu 🌱
Pancake Parlour is a restaurant that has become one of the most popular hangout spots in Doncaster. I find myself here with friends quite often, purely due to the fact that they are open 24/7 and have a convenient location. Although we visit Pancake Parlour quite often, the experience is almost always negative and the only reason we continue to visit is because of their hours.
Have been dining here for over 20 years, and it has always been outstanding!

As it is open 24 hours, I'd recommend dining here at any time of the day, whether it be breakfast, lunch, dinner or for a late night or early morning snack. Have often taken advantage of its 24 hour trading, even popping in after a late meeting from work.

Although this review is for the Doncaster outlet, a nod to the branches at Ringwood and Glen Waverley, which are equally good. However, Doncaster is open 24 hours, which has been very convenient for an early morning breakfast on the way to my destination. The décor of this place (like the others) is of course interesting, if not wacky, which makes for a lot of fun – reminiscent of Terry Gilliam’s animations using Victorian era images. The tables and chairs are comfortable and functional. The service is always welcoming (even on early morning visits) and efficient. My usual orders are for either the build-your-own breakfast, or at lunchtime, the potato and cheese pancake, which comes with a crunchy salad in light but tangy vinaigrette. These have always been filling and tasty. The meals are a touch expensive especially if they wack on a public holiday surcharge, but I have always had a pleasant dining experience.

After dinner at a Vietnamese Restaurant. Feeling like some dessert. Pancake Parlour team in Doncaster did an excellent job. From prompt greeting to table, the courteous friendly waiter. He help us with the selection of dessert. Choose the best value one for us. The dessert had exceeded our expectation. Not only the presentation looks tempting. The taste is unbelievable. Pig place and is always perfect for group meal. Had a birthday group up there and the giant pancake is awesome 😇😇. But staffs still forgot to bring water same as usual. Wonder if that's the standard service lol

We ordered the Jamaican banana and deluxe chips with raspberry fizzy drink and a long black! It was super good and every bring was yummy and left us feeling super good. The service was pretty good and I really like the layout of the restaurant 😝 there is a lot to choose from and there is a cute little train that goes off every hour🚂I would definitely recommend this and the food is super yummy✨sorry we have no photos today of the food
A great place to go after a night out as the hours are great. Compared to all other pancake parlours this is by far the one I've spent the most time at as well as being the best in my opinion, staff are friendly and the drinks menu in particular is worth looking at as the bar staff are talented at what they do.
been here couple of times already and never had i missed ordering the deluxe fries. its like best of both worlds. you got potatoes with bacon and you know you can never go wrong with that (top with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce). the price range for the food was a but expensive and for me the pancakes were just normal. i wouldnt ordered the pancakes again and maybe just come back here for the deluxe fries and thats it. would be better if they would increase the number of staffs in the restaurant as it seems like there's lack of waiter and waitress in the restaurant. but overall, the restaurant is worth a try :)
It's just a pancake parlour like any other, the only thing that always truly blows my mind, every time I'm at the door waiting to pay it takes SO LONG for someone to come to the register, I don't mean that the line is big, I just mean that it's always unattended, it's a very busy pancake parlour, I would probably suggest management look at increasing staffing? Apart from that I've always enjoyed my meals there
Good place to go if your wanting a late night coffee or something like that. We went there last night, just like every other pancake parlour and the service was excellent. Not that we have had bad service elsewhere but this was good from the time we walked in.

Destination for late night pancake cravings. I used to travelled here back in the days where there was not many restaurant open in the CBD. My go to menu will be their chicken caeser salad and jamaican bananas.

Always my go-to place for a late night feed - it's great that it's open 24/7! In summer, very appreciative of their A/C cool range menu & in winter, great place to have warm comfort food.
The staff are always friendly, eager to please and attentive when not too busy. I like the background music range they have; easygoing jazz to old-style music (none of that modern pop 'chipmunk-sounding' crap you hear on the radio). Good for all ages, relaxing booths to sit in, tables and normal chairs available too. In Doncaster, there's an eating area for smokers too.
Situated on 2 levels, but the ground floor is mainly used. They still have the large chess board upstairs for those who want a game or 2.
It really does feel like you've popped into Wonderland with the vintage decorations and high ceilings. Every hour there's a toy train line near the kitchen area where kids can see a plush dog driving the train; it's all a good bit of fun and nice to remember that we were all kids once.
Great selection of savoury & sweet dishes. I always go for the Cajun Chicken salad - good portions of delicious chicken, not too spicy (for those who are sensitive to spicy foods like me) on a bed of salad with a their tasty vinaigrette dressing. And a pint of apple cider, or homemade lemonade or lemon ice tea to accompany. Their chai latte is quite nice too
On a visit to the Parlour, can't go past their fluffy pancakes - and so many to choose from!
I'm a sucker for their chocolate range.. if you want a full on Choc experience, go for the Chocolate Jubilee - deliciously rich, 1 choc pancake drizzled with their homemade choc fudge (really, only reason why I still visit is for their delectable choc fudge!) topped with either vanilla or choc ice cream (yeah, you guessed right - I choose choc flavour every time) & sprinkled with choc flakes.. with fresh strawberries to not make you feel so guilty and for a bit of colour.
Or for a slightly less chocolate-y but still decadent treat, go for the Chocolate Chip Pancakes - lots of choc pieces mixed up in 2 buttermilk pancakes; when you cut into the pancakes, the choc pieces melt just right & served with ice cream (with choc flakes & choc fudge) it is sooo good!
If you're more a ice cream fan, I recommend the ol'fave, The Hot Ball - scoop of vanilla or choc ice cream, topped with almonds, hot fudge & a wafer. Good fun when the fudge comes in it's own mini-bowl so you can put as much or as little fudge in your dessert.
I have tried The Colassal with friends, but for all the hoopla I wasn't very impressed. Apart from the ice cream quantity (3 scoops), it boasts of seasonal berries - which in our serving we found it was just frozen berries that were over-frozen & tough to eat (like eating frozen fruit icicles). Had to pick out lots of bits I didn't want to eat. To improve my eating experience, I just asked for more fudge ($2.70 for a 1/2 serve - yum!).
My only gripe are the prices. I would only visit for a 'treat' as it does eat into your wallet if you're not too careful. And be wary of their public holidays surcharge; for 2 people it can easily cost you over $100. They do allow the Senior Citizen card, so the old folks can get 10% off their meals.
If you have boisterous children or those who like to run around, there's no playground area for them so you'll need to take that into account when you bring your young ones in. They do have highchairs though.
Overall, a nice comfy place. Good to meet up with friends and family. Great range of food and drinks, friendly staff, open all hours, has parking in the rear, easy access off Doncaster Road.
On special event days like Christmas, Easter, Mother's/Father's Day I recommend you book as it's very popular and without a booking you could be in the queue for over 10 mins. But normally you can just walk in without a booking
Savoury pancakes rock at pancake parlour. Love the fact they have specials that differ from the standard menu they have. Bit on the pricey side for what you get though
For the price and what you get, it's pretty good. Plus open 24 hours and breakfast up to 5pm. Food is also consistent quality, so it's never a gamble or roll of the dice.
Our usual from this place is their house-made lemon iced tea. Today we had the deluxe fries and tiramisu pancakes. The fries were ok. The pancakes were so fluffy and delicious. Love the ambiance and the staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back when we have another pancakes cravings!
For pancake lover like me, one of the best places in town (24h 💜💜💜)! Had a spider and the salted caramel pancake. Chips were good but too much for a 11pm treat. Queue is the downside.
This place is my guilty pleasure. When you look at the menu it may seem overpriced but the pancakes and drinks (sweet types especially) are filling and it's value for money. The Alice in Wonderland pancakes have always been a hit, pancakes are perfectly fluffy and not doughy. Complimented with chocolate sauce and 100's and 1000's. Not too overboard with the toppings compared to other menu choices but still filling all the same.
The chocolate royale hot chocolate is faultless - any chocolate lover will agree.

The best place to grab pancakes from The Pancake Parlour. This restaurant has an atmosphere that will remind you of the fantasy universes you created in your childhood. The service is fantastic, the food is great and the place opens 24/7 -never lacks in energy even in the late hours.
Open 24 hours for me to come here anytime and get fat hehehe I always get iced coffee and either pancakes with fresh strawbs or the Jamaican banana :) Can get pretty packed but I drive down for them midnight cravings so I have no issue :p
Great food, great ambiance and nice and friendly staff. The only downside is the price - things are pretty expensive compared to most places, but the atmosphere, seating arrangement and the food is worth it.
I come for the food and stay for the service. Just kidding the service is terrible and I leave as soon as I finish my panclarkes
Didn't know what to expect in a Pancake Parlour. As we walked in, the interior of the restaurant caught our attention; it definitely stands out from the normal ones. The moving train and clock on the wall, and the speciality mirror are sure to entertain kids!
The menu had pancakes; both
sweet and savoury. There were crepes, hotcakes, ice cream and desserts too. Quality of food was pretty good, service was prompt and the quantities were also apt. Ample parking at the back added to the convenience.
Good place for pancakes, especially since it’s open 24/7. Great place to eat dessert and hang out late at night. We always get the simple short cakes and put lots of maple syrup on it. and maybe splurge on a malt shake. Very close to Doncaster Westfield and there’s lots of parking around the restaurant so it’s easy to find a park or drive to. The lunch menu’s pretty good too.

The sweet as well as savoury options are very fulfilling and love the quality and the quantity.
The tiramisu pancake, the salted caramel and the original stack are our favourites. How’d go back for these time and again.
The Mexican crepes are something that we cannot have enough of in the savoury section along with the potato pancake.
Have not tried a lot of Swiss malts and the ice creams yet.
The packaging for the take away is very sustainable.
Visited the oldest free standing Pancake Parlour today. As expected, the quirky interior of any pancake parlour was experienced it this Melbourne original.
Friendly service and large portion sizes. The coffee was ok and the rosti tasted a little over. But food came quickly and the rest of it was good. Comfortable and spacious restaurant.
There were quite a lot of people eating here, the staff were attentive and friendly. The chai latte was good. The cheese and potato pancakes was great, love the side salad that came with it, gave the dish a refreshing touch to the cheese.
Had a beautiful Cajun Chicken Salad today. Very fresh!
My Kids Love this Place. Their Favourite is Spinach & Ricotta Crepes. We even Ordered during the LAST 2 Years of LockDown. ALWAYS a Great Meal. Kids like the Booth Seats (but do not want to sit Next to each other). I like that you DON'T have to Order via a Stupid App, and they still have Menus & Waiting Staff. We had a Lovely Valentine's Day Dinner Together. Family Friendly and Great Rewards if you are a Member too.
