The only place that opens late until 10.30 pm. Every time I have my friends coming over to my area, Max Brenner is always an option to have a chat over a hot chocolate and waffle. Conveniently located near cinema.
We’ve been going to max brenner for quite awhile now and we loved it. Always came here whenever we crave for something sweet. We always order tutti frutti waffle. The lines and wait time can be long but we never mind as we always love it here.
I always look forward to coming here! The space is warm and cozy, perfect for a cold night with friends. The hot chocolates are always beautiful. The fondue for 2 is really nice to share, the chocolate fondue comes out warm and has a good variety of things to dip into the chocolate. Beautiful! Though the banana bread that came with it was quite dry. This place gets super busy, especially Thursday to Saturday nights. So if you go during these times you’re in for quite a long wait. Overall I love coming here, and always find myself coming back when looking for a place to have dessert and coffee with people.
This review is mainly for the waiter who served us on the 1/12/2017 in the night! He was doing a one man show (being the only waiter) as they were pretty under staffed. Even though it was so hectic in there , he still did an amazing job, smiling and super friendly and helpful!
Now for the food- well I love Max Brenner :) always have and always will! Amazing always!
Nice place to relax and hang with friends for a catchup while enjoying a sweet treat. Lots of space and lots to choose from in the menu but overpriced for what you get. Our chocolate milkshakes and coffees were alright although the milkshakes could have been richer in flavour.
Each dish is beautifully prepared and the chocolate is made perfectly. Max Brenner offers a wide and creative variety of chocolate dishes that cater to just how adventurous and how much of a sweet tooth you are. I ordered the 80's Milkshake which was just perrrrfect! I also ordered the Tutti-Frutti Waffle which was also perfectly prepared but tasted sweeter and sweeter as I ate it (my personal opinion)
Overall, this is nice place to visit for chocolatey desserts.
Have never been to this place until recently! I tried the white chocolate chai latte which I really liked because they give you a jug that you attach to your cup & then the latte sifts through it. My friend had the dark chocolate mocha which she enjoyed.
I would love to try the waffles or fondue next time!
Everytime me &my partner come here I always order Melting chocolate soufflé served with strawberries &ice cream .I love it so much it the best chocolate soufflé i ever tried.Texture is just so soft and feel like "eating a cloud " ^^ _pure chocolaty decadence from the inside out. The only downside is you have to wait for 25mins for this dish T^T but guys it worth the wait. Highly recommended
Immense dessert menu.
Had some banana waffle sundae(don't remember the exact name), nothing great but good.
A place to offer something or the other for everyone. Must visit
Nice location on the top floor of the mall, always busy. Menu is good enough but can be better if more options can be added. In terms of taste, yummy and some of the items cannot be eaten alone.
DO: The Hot chocolate in the hug mug. If you're after something more substantial, the the Fondue, waffles or pizza are good picks.
DON'T: Take too long to order, since it does take a while for the items to come out and by the time you finish, you may miss the start time of your movie.
TIP: Grab a table first before placing your order at the counter. Make sure you grab a bottle of free water too to cut through all the chocolate.
Afternoon tea of milk chocolate, hot chocolate, latte and Cookieshake. Hot chocolate literally tasted like melted chocolate in milk but the latte was too hot. The block of chocolate we bought was $9.50 for 0.190kg. They charge by the weight. $50 a kg.
no doubt that this place is very cosy and has great chocolate. the chocolate is awesome but they dont give a lot of it in the dishes that you order. fancy overall but needs more variety and is slightly overpriced.
I-Scream Max-Wich and The Pirouetting Pavlova Sundae are my new favourites to try at Max Brenner. Always a great place to go for dessert or just a drink. It is quite pricey but you do get a large serve of what you've ordered. Love it here!
If your a chocolate fanatic this is definitely the place for you. Chocolate heaven. Love the fondu but it's all about the choc brownie sundae with waffles balls! Only thing is they don't have anything other than milky beverages :-/
This place is perfect for a quiet hot chocolate. It's on the pricey side, but as long as you avoid buying some of the big ticket items you will escape with your wallet intact. Get a hot chocolate and the strawberries with dipping chocolate. That's as cheap as it gets and its delicious too.
My friend had the hot chocolate and I had the white choc chai. The white choc chai left me feelig full, it was perfect, not over powering or overly sweet. My friend said the hot chocolate was one of the best she's had and I couldn't agree more. Was a nice day, convenient location and friendly staff. Will definitely go back for some waffles next time!
Max Brenner is a fantastic place to cuddle up on a cold day and be warned by your "hug mug" full of hot chocolate as well as feast on a selection of tasty chocolate based treats and desserts. A great place to catch up while satisfying your sweet tooth
Went on a Saturday night, was quite busy and the line was long. Managed to just get a seat. Famous for their hug mugs, ordered the hot chocolate with crumbs. The drinks never come out super hot just warm enough to drink and the crumbs was a nice surprise. Desserts were quite nice too. Nice place to visit if your wanting to go out for a drink and catch up with friends.
The best chocolate pace, this restaurant is always filled with people! My favourite would be the strawberries with the chocolate dip, so good!
Still waiting for our babycinos and waffles but its worth it the waffles are to die for
Have been before and would go again but have to say its pretty overpriced. $7.50 for an essentially watered down milkshake... Nothing special - could buy a whole block of high quality chocolate and 2L of milk for less and probably make a nicer shake from that. Tables are always messy here with dirty plates, glasses and serviettes everywhere but personally doesn't bother me, just find a clean spot or move the dishes to another table. Overall i do enjoy max brenner on the occasion but wish it was more reasonably priced!!!

Went to Max Brenner at around 3pm for afternoon tea. It was fairly busy but we were still greeted and served quite promptly. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was as delicious as ever. I bought the white chocolate cheese cake and the 80’s milkshake, both were delicious, although the chocolate was so beautiful and rich that I simply couldn’t finish them both (much to my dismay). I definitely recommend Max Brenner for all your chocoholic needs 👌🏻👌🏻
Took a little while to come out but that’s only because it was busy :) the Italian Thick hot chocolate is like liquid heaven 😍 Good service too.
The desserts are mind blowing and really delicious. However, the service in this particular branch is a little slow as they are under staffed.
I had a lovely afternoon tea with my family. The runny chocolate was delicious and was included in ever dish we ordered. The staff were friendly and our order was delivered really quickly. Tho only reason I chose 4 and not 5 was because the coffee was not very hot. A perfect treat with my family.
