Great food & great service! Love the new branding & different items on the menu đ
Brilliant, amazing food. Great staff.
We visited Mozza last night for a family birthday (note the cakeage fee) an Italian restaurant with an appealing atmosphere. My husband and I shared the margherita Versace pizza which was yummy though I would have liked to have seen even more tomato sugo on there.
Note this menu is not current we had the bruschetta and parmesan chips as entree dishes which were enjoyable though the bruschetta was on a pizza base which I donât think works as well. Next time I would try the gnocchi which looked perfectly pillowy on another diners plate
A very different dining experience today to when I first came to Mozza during the opening week and had a free pizza as part of that promotion. Today we came in as a group of 10 to celebrate a birthday. The three kids were excited by the concept behind the Americana pizza which had frankfurter sausage and fries on top... they devoured two whole pizzas between the three of them. Us adults had a selection of pizzas and my favourite was the done right classic Napoletana with cherry tomatoes, olives, anchovy and plenty of mozzarella. Other toppings I rated highly were the sausage and potato topped Salsicciotta pizza. The dough was exceptionally spongy around the crust and although some of the flavour combinations left the middle a little damp it all held together nicely. I also tried the napoli potato gnocchi which was carried out very well. Light pillows as they say and a good sauce to go with them.
We finished on a nutella calzone with candles and this did delight.
Overall friendly service and super quick pizza making. Only complaint would be that our seating was very cramped. 10 people sitting around 3 joined together tables was not a comfortable experience. Taking up one extra table would have made a difference.

I was coincidentally doing cardio at the gym at Doncaster Shoppingtown when a mate mentioned a free pizza promotion at Mozzarella Bar (now known at Mozza Pizzeria Napoletana). Finishing at the gym just before 11:30am I made my way across to find only a small queue had formed and I was inside in under 5 minutes.
True to their word they offered a free pizza as part of their rename launch period (3 days) and you could choose from all but two of the entire range.
I went for the Selerno pizza which combined hot salami with goats cheese, pesto, olives and tomatoes. The pizza didnât take long at all to arrive and I was well and truly satisfied with the flavour.
That creamy goats cheese is always a winner. Talking crust this was a well prepped pizza and the dough was still soft and with a nice spongy bite to it, along with some good char. Thin underneath to let the toppings shine.
Certainly a great pizza and that base was as good as some of the big boys of Brunswick and the city.
The atmosphere to start was simply wonderful as we had the function room upstairs which was both perfect for a large family gathering and the staff were immediately attentive to our needs and our guests. The food was just amazing with a range of traditional Italian dishes that were prepared with the care and attention only a nonna or exceptional Italian chef would achieve. The antipasto and entre platters were divine, from cured meats, meat balls, mozzarela sticks, arancini, calamari, breads and wines...it was exceptional. The mains were equally impressive with the most delicious pasta combinations of paste marinara with beautifully fresh seafood to traditional penne with ragu and gnochi that were as soft and light as marshmellows. The staff were a delight to deal with as they were attentive to a mix of young, elderly and vegetarian needs...thank you to Anthony and his staff, Rocco and Jessica. Your team made a 60th birthday celebration one to remember for over 40 fussy guests who are all raving ...simply brilliant. thank you....and finally...the deserts...Canoli a ricotta and the nutella donuts were sensational. Great value, people and location.
Food:4, Service :0.5, total: 4.5. Simple Ingredients prepared well. Some times, people forget how simple ingredients do not need too much effort to make them tasty. Just the right Amount with the right combinations and the right methods to prepare them. Mozza Pizzeria has done so. Keep it up.
We had a lovely casual meal here; prompt, friendly service and yummy food. The decor is relaxing, and the waitress offered for us to take our leftover pizza home which was nice as it's embarrassing to ask lol. Would definitely visit again - perhaps in summer when we can sit outside and look over at the palm trees across the road with a crisp glass of wine :) Pictured are the Capricciosa and the Cotto
A nice Italian restaurant in conveniently located inside the Westfield Doncaster shopping centre. Good service and good food! The Frutti Di Mare is awesome. Will come back!

Delicious Italian food with generous portions! Restaurant is clean and has a really nice set up, lots of room for groups of people! Staff are very attentive and friendly.
It was very hot day and full house with functions. We picked the most festive time and Chinese dragon with crackers were held near the restaurant.
Customer service was excellent. Staff told us the noise in advance. There was separate side dining area but no air-conditioning so we sat at the counter.
All staff were very helpful and organised baby chair and allocating space for a baby straller for my friend.
Pizza and seafood salad decorated well with fresh ingredients.
Coffee was creamy but very light taste. I found unusual for Italian coffee.
It'll be very nice to have party here. So joyful restaurant.
Nice place in shopping center. Friend took me here for dinner. There are very friendly staffs, also given us good recommendations. Pasta and pizza are very Italian style and yummy. Is such a good choice for have a meal after shopping here. You could also have s drink here.
Cannot fault this place. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff & were sent upstairs for our table (who knew this place was 2 stories). Once we got there another lady greeted and showed us to our table. We then ordered & I kid you not the food came out 10 minutes later. My friend & I shared arancini & a pizza called nonna Emilia. The pizza was delicious, I really wanted more. The arancini was so cheesy & melt in your mouth. Would definitely be coming back for more pizza & maybe check out there desserts next time.
Was really impressed by this place, and back in the old days of Zomato I would probably give this a 4.5.
Service was great and all the dishes were superb, in particular the meatballs and Osso Bucco.
Will definitely be back,
Fantastic pizza, looking forward to trying many of the other dishes on the menu. Desserts were awesome and could easily be shared the portions are that big
Tried Mozza last night for dinner.. I'm GF so I was very pleased when they had GF pasta. I ordered the Ragu sauce, it was delicious.. full bodied flavour, rich tomato & tender pork..
My husband had the Cerasano pizza which he said was really good, just like in Rome.. lovely, friendly service..
we will be back!
Authentic Italian eatery in Doncaster shopping center. The food was absolutely delicious. The pizza was very authentic, thin base and a decent amount of topping. I tried the Volcano but I noticed a lot of diners ordering the Americano which had hot chips on top. Desserts were to die for. Think Nutella crepes, pannacotta and Sicilian donuts made the traditional Italian way. I didn't drink but the drinks menu had lots of variety.Â
There is an upstairs section and plenty of seating for large groups. The fit-out is new, modern and inviting. The service was amazing with smiling and attentive wait staff which is important in the hospitality industry. They do take away and uber eats if you cannot make it there. Fantastico!
Beautiful, authentic Italian food and friendly staff. We enjoyed the gnocchi and pizza with our special request for extra prosciutto. We paired our meals with a Pinot Noir from the wine list which offers a variety of good drops. To finish off, we shared the delicate Nutella crepes with pistachio crumbs. Buonissimo! My new favourite Italian local!
This is my 3rd time going to Mozzarella bar and every time it just gets better. This time we tried the calamari and croquettes for entree and it was outstanding... soft and flavourful calamari and beautiful croquettes. I had a wood fired margarita pizza and I must say I was thoroughly impressed! We also had gnocchi and slow cooked goat and they were one of the beat Iâve ever had! I also had a cannoli for dessert and it was very enjoyable! Definitely going again!!!
Further exploration warranted ...
This could be a cool place to hang out at Westfield Doncaster ... overlooking the bus stop, all "matt" black theme ... huge venue, big brick pizza oven, well stocked, cool looking bar, a vintage Cream Vespa and damn good latte for $3.50.
Need further exploration. JT-10/04/2018.
We had a very enjoyable family dinner (quick as we were heading to a movie) recently.
Proâs:
- Plentiful seating.
- Nice decor.
- Fast and friendly service.

Enjoy dining here. Staff very friendly and the food very authentic and full of flavour. Come here with the family and we all leave happily satisfied
Only recently tried this place & will definitely be coming back! I love how their menu is very traditional & I definitely recommend getting a couple of dishes to share. Itâs also at a convenient location and a perfect restaurant to go to after a day of shopping at Westfield.
Made a dinner reservation for a table of 5 and the staff were very accommodating & friendly when we were running late.
The food was served promptly and it tasted really authentic! I had the gnocchi porcini and it was packed with flavour. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. Would love to come back & try their other dishes!
Fantastic place! Really enjoyed a night out with the girls. Great atmosphere and attentive service. Our grilled calamari salad was fresh and clean and we cleaned the plate dry!!! Our desserts were Pandora panettone tirami su & home made zeppole...AMAZE...ING!!! Great place and so close to home! Will definitely be going again đ
Finally a quality restaurant at Westfield Doncaster. Authentic Italian to; well anyway the friendly and charming waiters were even if the chef wasnât!!
Weâd attended their âsisterâ (or is it âbrotherâ??) restaurant in Seddon with our son and his family, and this restaurant naturally offered similar fare. Extensive menu including oven made pizzas, pasta and a smaller range of âSecondiâ dishes.
Also had an outside bar area which wasnât so inviting on the wettest day this year, but would be amazing on a lovely summers day with the city skyline in the distance.
âGustareâ, check with the waiter whether I have translated this correctlyđđ

Came here for a family dinner. We were all impressed with each meal. My spaghetti di mare was delicious. First place that has placed heaps & heaps of seafood with the pasta. I was extremely pleased with the generous amount. The family said the pizzas were thin and were packed with flavour. The restaurant reminds you of being in Italy. The Italian music helps with keeping the Italian vibe going. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed it and we will be coming back again.
These guys have got it right , great food, great service .
Have to try the Baccala Croquettes amazing.
Pizza with the best of them and great deserts ...
No more to say ,, full as ...
Itâs always hard not to be critical at Italian restaurants knowing how amazing my Nonnaâs cooking is. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Mozzarella Bar. I ordered a pizza from the lunch menu which I was told is slightly smaller than the dinner serve. The pizza came out in a very timely manner, was filling, flavoursome and cooked just as they describe on their menus. I had a gassosa to wash it down which was a treat and enjoyed sitting in the lovely outdoor area. Iâm looking forward to going back!
Happened to be in the area - birthday gift shopping and needed sustenance. Â We thought this was a perfect opportunity to try out Mozzarella Bar. Â Plenty of other families had the same idea, but we were fortunate to grab a table for five. Â Right up the back, close to the entry to the loos, but you know, beggars can't be choosers, the loos are still down the hall and around the corner. Â Bentwood chairs and decent size tables, along with extra virgin olive oil and Italian salt are on the table.
There's a decent wine list, but it was a bit too early in the day, so we stuck to some softer options, a nice touch to see a couple of Italian options in the softer section too.
There's a wood fire burning for the pizza and it is very shiny on the outside, we were hoping the pizzas coming out of it would shine too. Â We selected Positano (San Marzano tomato, Fiore di latte, goat's cheese and pesto with hot salami), 3 Porcellini (3 little pigs; the same tomato, cheese, hot salami but also ham and salsiccia [Italian sausage}), a kid's Margheritta - which looks the same size as the other pizzas. Â Carbonara and Potato Croquettes. Â Everything was brilliant apart from the croquettes which were lacking in flavour, they were wonderfully crisp, not oily, and creamy inside but the smoked cod wasn't very evident. Â The carbonara was done to a proper al dente, and was unctiously rich and creamy, not 'eggy' but rich with egg yolk, it seemed. Â We were offered Parmesan or chilli with our meals. Â
One of our waitresses was utterly charming, and friendly, the other was a bit cold, and lacking in a smile.
Would go back, pizzas are thin, crispy and 'traditional' - not over topped. Â What a happy surprise in a shopping centre.
Visited on a quiet Monday night. Friendly & attentive staff but seemed a little young and inexperienced. We tried a few different varieties of Pizzas and they were all tasty and well cooked. Quite large in size which is good value however they might need to serve them on larger plates. We finished off with coffees and a birthday cake but we were disappointed to find out that they charged us $1.50 per head just to serve the cake. Also the coffees were cold. We decided to send back one of the lattes and they heated it in the microwave instead of making another one. Hopefully they get their act together because the Pizzas are worth it.
Our first visit to this new restaurant in Doncaster and it did not disappoint. Friendly service, good ambience and tasty well cooked food. A reasonable wine list with a very pleasant 'Down the rabbit hole' Shiraz and the best creme brûlée I have ever had. What appeared to be a small restaurant was actually very large when you wandered upstairs plus a large outdoor area. C'mon summer!
Having been to their Seddon restaurant we were happy that they opened in our neighbourhood. The service was friendly and the food authentic. The pasta was al dente and packed full of flavour. Pizza was served how it should be - minimal ingredients and with a thin base. The cannoli was crispy with a beautiful creamy ricotta filling. We shall return!
I wasn't expecting much, this restaurant being in a Shopping Centre. I was so wrong. Wine list is quite limited, but good selection of beers, including a couple on Tap. We ordered calamari fritti & arancini balls as our entree. Both were excellent. A pizza called "3 little pigs" was our shared main. Beautiful crust (wood fired) the perfect amount of topping & cheese. A little pricey, but well worth it. It's also in the Entertainment Book. We look forward to becoming regulars & going through the entire menu!
Had heard a few positives about the Mozzarella Bar in Seddon and noticed they had opened a Venue at Doncaster.... my neck of the woods, went in on a quiet Tuesday Evening to see what they were all about and they didn't disappoint, I'm of an Italian Background and know what a good Italian feed is about !!
We started with the Arancini Sicilians and they were Devine with a nice sugo, this was followed by a bowl of Gnocchi Porcini and Spaghetti Carbonara, both well cooked and not over the top in flavour as some places over do the Cream or parmesan taste, very subtle.
This was finished with a Few Lattes and a Vanilla and berry Coulis Pannacotta, I will happily return to try more of this menu but a great first impression for a New kid on the Doncaster block !
Exquisitely traditional experience of Italian cuisine
This is the type of traditional italian experience that I would return to time and time again. Their menu is kept simple though the food itself is of excellent quality flavour.
The parmesan used on the salad is very tasty and giving extra parmesan for the table is such a wonderful touch.
The pizza was fresh and the base was made exceptionally - it held together with the toppings.
Service was professional and warm.
A delightful surprise to find this high quality pizza place tucked inside a shopping centre.
The pizza is beautiful Italian home-made style, and the entire restaurant is beautifully appointed.
The staff were amazing, and I even had a chance to personally speak to the owner.
I will definitely be coming back
The best wood fired pizzas in the area! Have been here several times and it does not disappoint! Simple ingredients but wonderful flavors! Polenta chips just wow! Crispy and fluffy!
An Italian store in AU? Amazing. Their menu is great and the pricing is also just fine. The pizza is amazing!! We had a lovely dining experience, will probably come back soon.
It was a very good experience for me to be here from Sydney when I asked one of the happiest and kindest staff there named Aria for help to eat a great meal to help me experience a great meal.
