Been meaning to write this review for a while. I come here for lunch when I get the opportunity. Came back today and was served by Sophie. She’s always super friendly and attentive. Some of the best hospitality I’ve received at any place. Burgers are decent size and tasty and the chips are always spot on as well. Make it here for lunch one weekday and get the special prices and the great service. No regrets! Thanks guys. Will definitely keep coming back :-)
Good experience. Tried their beef ribs, nachos and Calamari. All 3 of them were amazing. Ordering from the app and half an hour wait was a bit annoying though but overall good experience. Definitely worth

The serving sizes are phenomenal at this place. It’s always a great place to eat after a whole day of shopping or even before the movies. The burgers are the best 😍
Came here on a Saturday night, it was very busy which was really promising. I ordered the vegan burrito and 2 vodka like & sodas. The waiter was lovely and well mannered, and the food and drinks were good. The only reason for 4 stars is I clarified 3 times I wanted the vegan burrito and not the vegetarian burrito, but I still received the vegetarian burrito (with egg), they rectified this straight away which I was happy with. Then they also mucked up my drink order and have me a red wine instead, but again they fixed up straight away and apologised.
It was still a pleasant dining experience and I would come back again, and bonus they split bill 🙂
TGI Fridays reminds me of an American restaurant with all their spicy wings and all. They also give you free refills on any soft drink that you order. The burgers are also enormous and the chips are massive as well.
Was there with a group of friends last night.The service was slow but staff were friendly.Steak was great and everyone else's meal looked presentable.A good experience and we will be back again
We have been coming here for years and it is always a good experience. Service can be a bit slow at times but the friendliness of the staff makes up for it.
We had the three for all and burrito bowl today. The buffalo wings were tangy and mildly spicy. The loaded potato skins were full of flavour and the sliders were delicious. The burrito bowl had lots of fresh ingredients in it and the crispy corn chips added great texture to the whole package.
It certainly feels like a Friday whenever we come to TGIF!
Went to TGI Fridays when I was around Doncaster last week. It was a last minute decision but I kinda liked it. We walked in and staff got us to one of the last tables available. I guess everywhere is busy during this Holiday period because so many others are closed?
We ordered drinks to start with and they are refreshing! For food we ordered the wings, onion rings, fries, calamari and the tower wrap thing. Everything was very yummy! The only complain is the food arrived quite slow and the staff forgot my second drink order. But I guess it was a busy night and they have tried their best. In the end the food was really good! Will be back if I feel like this kind of food again!
Nostalgia was abound. My husband and I regularly visited Doncaster TGI’s as uni students and delighted in their refillable soft drinks. It’s had a reno since, and while our food repertoire has vastly expanded since it was nice to revisit our old stomping ground.
The portions are sizeable, owing to the American diner style concept. They are quite renowned for the steaks with Jack Daniels sauce and hundreds of franchises around the world can’t be wrong so we decided to try it today. I actually found the steak a bit overcooked but that was perhaps to be expected ordering rare in this type of place.
Next time (if there is a next time) I’ll go for the Mexican style dishes
This outlet is one of the largest TGI Fridays restaurants in Melbourne. It is managed very well in terms of customer service, timing (food delivery) and food quality. Our favourite dishes here are the Signature Jack Daniel’s ribs and the potato twister.
I have to give this place a 4 stars, the ribs so tender the service is always great and friendly. Really enjoy having lunch here. Great value for money

TGI provide such great variety, loved all the entrees, had the calamari and all the wings. Have had the ribs which were good but it’s the same constant taste so ordering a couple mains goes down well. Overall amazing
If you wanna go somewhere fun, loud and full of happy people in a local area - Doncaster TGIF is the place to be. The prices aren’t absolutely ridiculously for ribs and enormous burgers either. My favourite is the Jack Daniel Glazed ribs! ☺️
Visited on a Saturday night for dinner. We had:
1. Calamari Salad - loved it! The calamari pieces were tender and just yum. I found the dressing very salty and was thirsty afterwards. Also, being someone who gets bloated after eating raw onion, be prepared for a half an onions worth in your salad (no issue if you are a fan haha)
2. TGI Burger - didn't taste it but looked generous in size. Also liked that the burger itself and the meat didn't appear burnt unlike some places where it comes out black.

Always a great time with friends and a good feed at TGIF. The steak at medium rare was done really well and it was juicy and succulent, however some of the Jack Daniel’s ribs were under flavoured and slightly too charred at some parts for our liking but overall, everything came out on time and was polished by the hungry crew.
Friendly warm service (awesome work Matt!) and lots of space for families, kids and babies in prams without encroaching in others. Great fun vibe and we always look forward to TGIF and it’s menu offerings.
Apparently there is a limit to dine here. If not mistaken it was 1,5 hour per table. Yes that’s completely fine.
The staff are very nice. They helped with what’s popular.
We ordered the signature Jack Daniels Glaze and bbq ribs. Kids had fish and chips.
The food comes after a very very very very ............. long ........... wait. The kids are starting to get impatient and that’s horror for the parents.
Positive is they have kids some activity sheet. That helps a bit.
Food finally came after 45 mins wait. Yes you got it right. 45 minutes!!!!!!!
The ribs are good. Generous sauce and they gave some extra sauce on the side.
Fish and chips for kids are just standard.
Kids love the ribs as well. Having entertainment book voucher certainly is worth it(buy 1 get 1 deal). But full price we would be paying around $100.
For the ribs, yes would come back. For the waiting time? I need to have a very strong craving first.
I got the Ultimate Jack Daniels burger which was really delicious, chips were rather average though. Friendly staff who would refill our drinks when we finished them (free soft drink refills) which was nice. I enjoyed me meal and would go back :)
It is always busy when I visit this restaurant and it's probably for a good reason. Their servers are attentive and have never missed an order / delayed an order etc. The food that they serve here is fairly average though for the price. Some of the entrees that I have tried in the past were a little puzzling as for serving size to price point. Their chicken burgers are quite okay, nothing to rave about as sometimes I do get quite dry meat and it's disappointing paying $20+ for it. The ribs though however are pretty yum; so far so good. As for their steak, sometimes they cook medium rare steaks a little over but that's my only complaint. NY Cheesecake is yum, Whiskey cake is also rather yum. The only thing I have not tried from here is any of their pastas, nor have I heard of anyone trying it really, perhaps next time I might.
First time I went to TGIF in Doncaster. I think the place feels newer and more classy than the other ones. I always like my Jack Daniel's sauce but somehow that night the sauce was lack of something. I had the pulled beef/pork burger (I cant remember what the meat was) but the buns became very soggy since there was fluid probably from the pulled meat and coleslaw sauce. Would order a different burger next time. Otherwise we had a great night.
Had a good time here. Since I was last here (at least a year ago) the menu has changed. There are so many meals to choose from it was a bit overwhelming. I ended up ordering a rump- asked for medium rare and ended up with medium to well done. There were also so many staff members but most just walked around not doing anything. Seemed like one staff member ended up doing everything and saved our lunch experience. It wasn't all bad, I did like the vibe of the place.
We went there at lunch time and place was somewhat busy! We got attended straight away and got seated. Ambience was nice and cosy and overall the place was clean. Some of the staff were not friendly but that can be looked over as rest of the things were good. We ordered Mexican vegetarian choices and loved the food! It was fresh, flavoursome and quantity was more than enough! Prices were reasonable for 2 dishes bill came around 38 $
This is my favorite TGI's. The food is great here! The restaurant is really clean and i have always had great customer service from this restaurant. When we went on Tuesday night, there was a really lovely man working behind the bar who gave us wonderful service and he even came out of the bar to present us with our drinks. Burgers are on the expensive side however the food is cooked better and presented much better than the TGI at the Jam factory in South Yarra. I always get the fajita tower and its always great. The ultimate burger is also really nice!
First time at this branch and I must say I'd be back! Bruschetta was surprisingly good. Ordered a Jack Daniel's ribs and BBQ ribs. JD ribs were smoky and sauce was beautiful- finger licking good indeed! BBQ ribs on the other hand, were ordinary. Coleslaw was ok, fries were not too bad.
I'd definitely be back for the JDs. Yum!
I've come here a few times for a big gathering with friends and it seems to be always packed. We ordered a few dishes to share and the portions were just enough to fill us all up. As for starters, we ordered the Jack Daniels Sample platter that had crispy shrimps, baby rips and chicken strips but I prefer the trio platter that was loaded with potato skins, pork rilets, buffalo wings. If you go to TGIF, their potato skins are a must for an appetiser. The first main dish we had was quesadillas, basically pulled beef with vegetables in a tortilla served with sour cream, guacamole and salsa. We also ordered Jack Daniels Pork and Beef ribs. I really liked the sauce on the ribs and the ribs were grilled quite tender. With so much food, the good note of TGIF is that there soft drinks were refillable. Overall we had a pleasant time at TGIF along with their stellar service.
Came during the day for lunch so it was quieter than usual, waitress promptly asked for drinks and gave great service throughout our lunch. Food we had nachos and burgers, nachos lived up to their bio of spicey however i find the burgers over priced as they are small. Would come again though
The decor is very unique, lots of American memorabilia, it's quirky but it works well. The buffalo wings had a nice tang to it. I also liked that the soft drinks were served in a big glass, sounds silly but I need it as the wings were a bit spicy (but very good).

Food portion are huge. Value for money. Staff very friendly and inform us about the happy hour for bargain price drinks. We had ordered the right stuff from TGI. They are perfect for happy hour and catch up with friends. Most importantly, the server remember to farewell and thank you for coming. First and last impression good.
Staff are always very friendly and good is always very nice, obviously you need to be willing to pay a bit more but it's worth it. Free refills on drinks is a huge plus but sometimes takes a while for staff to come by ask if you want a refill.
I had the cheeseburger with gluten free bun. It was tasty but the bun is a bit dense. Love their chips. The staff are very friendly and give great service.
TGI Friday always provides you reasonable quality of food and services. The seats and tables are spacial. We ordered chicken salad and three starters combination. The proportion of the dishes are large. They are good, but not fantastic.
We came for a shop on Saturday without the little one and wanted something a bit hearty for lunch so we came here.
Started with some Mac and cheese bites which are delicious / I think they go better with the jack bourbon sauce though and not the tomato!
Next we shared the chicken breast and mashed potato and vegetables. Vegetable part was delicious - lots of green beg and the mash was great. Chicken was over seasoned though but still nice as I douse my food in pepper anyway!
The staff were very attentive and we had a seat with a view too - for two for lunch it was $55 including a big bottle of sparkling water.
This one is walking distance from my place and thus we have been there a few times now. Ambience, location and food does not disappoint. Prices are a bit high but quantity makes up for the price.
Excellent services! Food needs a bit improvements: steak costing over $40 should be better quality (not fresh), chicken & shrimp pasta had not salt. For some reason now waiters are asking for tips verbally and by marking on the bill - we r ok with this but I didn't expect this when we have spent more than $100 for 2 adults and a 3 year old, no drinks/liquor
food was delicious and the environment is very warm and welcoming. there is a lot of variety on the menu and everything that i have tried from the bruschetta salmon to the jack daniels baby back ribs have been so satisfying. however the only problem i have is with the price. this restaurant is very pricy for what it offers but is definitely worth it on special occasions if you are willing to pay the lot. the ribs were $40 and salmon $30 which is pretty damn expensive compared to other decent restaurants near by. in saying this, the food did not dissapoint.

I love TGI cause of their Jack Daniel's grill. I've tried their platter, steak & pork cutlet and yet the Jack Daniel's ribs is my favorite. It's super filling and addictive! TGI also has an impressive drink menu. Drinks usually come quickly but the food can take ages so try not to go if you are already really hungry!
Everytime i go to tgis, i find that the food seems like its been re- heated... its not steaming hot nor showing any steam... hot food thats not hot isn't really appetising.
A little pricy, but portions are huge. The burgers are always fantastic here, but the servings are so big I always feel a little uncomfortably full afterwards. The loaded potato skins are addictively good, but also ridiculously greasy! Felt pretty sick after having them so I probably won't be getting them again.
Delicious as food, fast service, bomb as, the G.O.A.T I got a burger my brother got ribs and we both absolutely enjoyed our meals and have left so satisfied !
Been here many times, but have never tried their '3 taste and share plates'. Loved the nachos and calamari, but the meatballs were just a bit dry and tough. Service was slow as usual but polite. Wish they had more staff. Still TGIF remains one of my fav haunts for its food and ambience.
My Kids like this Place. I preferred it in the Old Location. Like that you DON'T have to Order via App and get stuck with Hidden FEES for Paying by Credit Cards. You can Pay by EFTPOS and still Claim your Membership Rewards.
DON'T like the fact they Charge you $2 for Substituting Thick Chips from Shoestring Fries. They are BOTH Potatoes. Like you can get the Rest of your Meal Takeaway too.
Also they have a Good Kids Menu too.
