Review Miss Ping’s Thai Eatery - Doncaster

Jay Jay
Great Thai food, lots to choose from. To play it safe, go for the traditional famous Thai food. See photos for the grilled Tender beef, I wouldn't recommend this one. Go for the fried rice dishes and some Thai curry. As for entree, calamari and chicken skewers are good dishes. Customer service is good and absolutely recommend you to peak during peak hours.

Miss Ping's Glen Waverley is okay, but not great. The food is fairly tasty with flavour. However, the staple Chicken Pad was dry and lifeless. Rotti bread was more a small crispy pita, a serving for not even one person with the worst peanut sauce we've had. Staff were clueless about their menu. One employee took our meal back and brought it back exactly the same without any communication. Definitely better Thai, cheaper, elsewhere in the area.

Came here for a late night feast after a movie. The Tom yum hotpot was great and the prawn entre was very flavorsome. Loved the soup in the hotpot so much we asked for me. The service was friendly and food came out relatively fast. This is our 2nd time here and thought it’s worth revisiting again in future.

12:30 lunchtime, even on a weekday we would expect more people here, but this place was mostly empty except for another two tables. Mmmm. We ordered iced Crysanthamun tea which is very refreshing, then I ordered pork ribs noodles for myself and my dining companion ordered pad see ew. My pork rib noodle soup was ok, came with pork crackling which was yummy and the pork ribs were tender. It doesn’t have the usual four condiments for us to adjust the taste and when I asked for fresh chilli the chilli are weak as. The noodles are a bit soft so they break into a million pieces before I can scoop it up. The pad see ew tasted ok, except for the bits where they put too much pepper and unless you remember to stir the whole thing (note this is on a plate), you might get a mouthful of pepper and that wasn’t nice. Service was friendly enough but certainly not the most attentive I have seen, had to get their attention a few times every single time was a bit annoying

Waited to be served for a long time while being ignored by staff. It took 20 min for anyone to serve us. I spilled a bit if water on my table and a staff member dropped of some napkins and walked away. The food came out quite quickly once order was placed. The food itself was quite bad. Curry puffs were just deep fried from frozen. Beef was very dry and chewy. It seemed like it was a bit busy for the amount of staff they had. Not going back especially with the prices so steep for what you get.

Overpriced comparing to the ingredients quality. The fried rice is too oily. The soup has too much sauce in it, makes the soup too salty and loses original Thai food taste. Small portion. Poor customer service. The waitress started to pack up menu while I’m still thinking to order more dishes. The waitress asked whether we want some drink, when we said just tap water the expression on her face was not good.

Came here for dinner on a Sunday around 6. When we arrived the place was about a quarter full. Our table of 4 was seated relatively close to the windows overlooking the city which was nice. Once seated it took about 10 minutes to have someone take our order. Not bad on it's own but considering two other tables of 4 came in after us and were served drinks and entrees even before our order was taken was quite poor. Once our order was placed our drinks came out reasonably quickly but our entree took a while to come out.. In fact the table next to us that arrived after us received their mains before our entree. We had a further wait of 30 minutes before our mains started to trickle out...I had to resort to asking what was going on...I even had to ask for the waiter to remove the empty entree dish to make room for our mains. We would have happily stayed longer to order desserts but decided to call it a night given no-one even bothered to see if we wanted more water or drinks. Food was fresh and quite tasty but the place was let down by their service. It will be a while before we consider coming back... If at all. There are other Thai places around

Great food but badly let down by their service. Waited ages to be served. When the food arrived it was in random order. A main, then one starter then another main and then the final starter. So we ended up not eating at the same time. One of the mains was sent back because they got the wrong order. We waited patiently for the replacement, and had to ask again if it was on its way. Kept waiting and left once it was clear that the replacement wasn't being prepared. They discounted the final bill which is something. There are much nicer Thai restaurants in the Doncaster area, we won't be going back.

It’s so good to have finally found authentic Thai food locally! After living in Thailand for 3 years it’s been very hard trying to find something similar to Thailand back home! The restaurant is very nice and spacious! The staff were very lovely and delivered great service. The food was AMAZING every dish we had was great with real Thai flavors felt like I was back in Thailand! The Thai milk tea was also amazing! Will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know! Compliments to the chefs and cooks!

Absolutely amazing!! I don’t know why we kept walking past and not going in. Definitely our new go to spot now. Service was fast and friendly. The food packed punch and was full of flavour! Only thing which wasn’t right was we had our mains delivered before our entree, in the end though we didn’t care. as we were too busy enjoying our meal. Look forward to exploring more of the menu

Can’t say how stoked I am to have a decent Thai restaurant in the area. Great decor, attentive staff and most of all delicious food. I’ll be a regular here

So glad to have a great traditional local Thai. Went last night and was very impressed. Food was delicious, staff were very friendly and the atmosphere felt like we were in the city at some of our top fav Asian restaurants. Definitely be returning

Quality Thai food in the heart of Doncaster. Happy with the taste and service- eaten two days in a row

Unfortunately this restaurant was a massive disappointment. The menu looked great and the fitout was fabulous, however don't let this fool you! The food was the worst Thai food I have ever had - in fact probably the worst food I've ever had! We ordered quite a few different dishes and within a minute of us placing our order, ALL of the food arrived so it had clearly been sitting there for goodness knows how long. It was overcooked, dry and completely tasteless. In hindsight I wish we had actually told the restaurant at the time that it was inedible but we had just never been in that situation before! Avoid at all costs! BTW I'm referring to Miss Ping's at The Glen.

When you think of good Thai food and amazing views, Doncaster isn’t the area the town that normally comes to mind. But with Melbourne being the ever-expanding place that it is, it was only a matter of time before its thriving food culture spilled out of the city and into the rich tapestry of the suburbs.

Miss Ping’s Thai Eatery is situated in the newly redeveloped restaurant sector of Doncaster Shopping centre. With an open and inviting feel, Miss Ping’s give you the space to feel like you’re dining on your own without feeling surrounded by your fellow diners. Accompanied by floor to ceiling windows the view over the city is nothing short of spectacular!

Offering a variety of Thai food brimming with spice and flavour, Miss Ping’s provides ‘Thai food, for lovers of more than food.’ Add one of their refreshing coolers, juices or cocktails and experience a culinary escape – but be sure to let them know how spicy you like your food so you’re not reaching for the water between each bite.

Built on the mantra that ‘Good food need not be spoken about, only eaten’, it has something for everyone. With an extensive menu on offer, no matter what your favourite Thai dish their menu can cater to your taste buds.

Indulging on toasted coconut prawns, crispy pork Bao and some of the best Massaman Beef we’ve had in recent times, combined with a variety of Thai salads on the menu there is no limit to what you can pair with your favourite curry, noodle dish or stir-fry. So, if you find yourself exploring the East side of town, catching a movie with friends or that special someone be sure to drop into Miss Ping’s to indulge in a little Thai treat!

Turned up last night for dinner but restaurant was closed - seemed to be packing things away into boxes. Is it closed permanently? I have a voucher valid until December 2019

Have dined here twice now. Delicious food. Absolutely devine pork belly and Chinese broccoli. Would definitely order again. Also had the chicken spring rolls, roti bread and pineapple fried rice with beef. No complaints here. All food was fantastic.

I can only give one star because I had really bad experience tonight, should say the worst dining experience. Firstly, my son and I arrived around 1905, and we were guided to sit outside which was fine with us. This place was really busy at the time when we arrived. Then that was it, given two Menus and we were left alone until 1935, no water was served, nothing. As we were waiting to be served, this place looked really unorganized and staff all over the place. In the first 30mins, there were 6 times counted that they served food to wrong table and 3 customers went to counter to complain. I can tell from their face expression. Finally we got someone to serve us. we were asked if we wanted everything together or dessert later. I thought they were really busy, why not everything come together, so didn’t have to wait for too long. Obviously I was very wrong. 20 mins later, we had our dessert first which was mango and coconut ice cream in a very hard deep fried boat. Oh well, life is too short, let’s have dessert first. Another 10 mins then we had our green curry with rice. Couldn’t see any Thai eggplants in curry which supposed to be as was mentioned on the menu. My son tasted and said to me the green curry was super salty but sweet as well, very wired taste. I tried, nothing near the Thai green curry I had before. 2 pieces of pumpkins, few green beans and some dry chicken. Until 2020, after two times complaining, I finally received my food.I don’t remember what was called, there were some chick, rice, salad and pick on a high tea tray. To be honest, satay chicken skewer was nice, little bit cold but acceptable. However, sticky rice was super dry and not sticky. Looked like rice was out for too long. Pork crackling actually was deep fried dumpling skin, pork skewers wasn’t even cooked properly, some of the pork was burned outside but raw inside 😩😩lettuce wasn’t washed because I saw black mud in between leaves, salad was very salty that I could even eat it. Soft shell crab was cold and oily and oil was dripping 😫😫😫 by the way we received water at 2006, my son was going to get it but I wanted to see their customer service, unfortunately there was nothing called customer service, I had to ask for water because my son really needed the water for the rice. He was too hungry to complain so end up just had water with rice.
When we were driving to Westfield, my son said hasn’t had Thai for a while, we were actually looking forward to this dinner. To be honest, I felt my day was ruined. I still can’t get over it. I am a food lover and I don’t like give negative comments. I always recommended good restaurants to my friends. My WeChat full of beautiful food pictures but tonight, the experience I had with Miss Ping’s was the worst ever! I will never go back.

I need to revisit with my camera and take better photos because these photos don’t do the food at Miss Ping justice! Can’t believe it taken me this long to visit even though it’s so close to me. Really authentic Thai dishes, drinks and dessert. I had a fresh coconut and also pork rib noodles, really generous servings. The soup was so thick and full of flavour! To help you out, Miss Ping is located up on level 2 at Westfield Doncaster (near Village Cinemas)

Always a good experience eating at Miss Ping’s.
Good value, and delicious dishes.
Any of the stir fry noodles are a great choice.
Loved the drinks menu.
I will continue to keep coming here!
J
Food is good but service is pathetic.
Very unenthusiastic/unhelpful staff. Empty plates were left on our table for over 30 mins before being cleared and water jug was not bothered to be refilled. Staff were walking around idly while the restaurant was almost completely empty!
Tash Smith
Amazing all round. Flavour of the food is incredible and authenticity is definitely there. Service is a little slow however I do believe it’s because of the quality of food. Must try Chilli fried rice
Coffee Cup
Great environment , food and staff. We had a family meal. The kids ordered chilli rice which they loved. I had a green curry which had the right amount of spice while my husband had the pork belly. My only complaint was over the G&T. It was in a tall glass and the ratios were wrong while I also think that the tonic was tap. This is the second time we have been here and we would all happily return back.
GG
I would give this place a ‘0’ if I could!

Staff we’re all over the place. Main meals came out scattered some of us had to wait 40 mins whilst the others on the table came out just after 5 mins. Very awkward trying to socialise over dinner as the ones that got their food felt terrible for the others that had to wait.
The waiters were asked several times where our meals were and no feedback was given back to us after they spoke to the kitchen staff. We finally got to speak to an apparent ‘manager’ who just kept giggling at the fact our food had taken so long! He offered a 10% discount ($3) on one of the dishes for the muck up!

Now let’s talk I out the food...
Dry, cold, not much flavour and overly priced for the serving size. Totally unacceptable!

One of the better Thai restaurants this end of town. Flavors emulate those in sukumvit except for the chillies not been as much and perhaps rightly so since we are not really accustomed to those supersized chilli serving some Thai dishes in Bangkok offer and the sweetness of some dishes a little more than usual. This is particularly dissuasive especially when there is a conscious effort all around to reduce public sugar consumption. The regular fried rice turned out to be a very sweet fried rice for instance. They have not tried to modify Thai dishes to western taste significantly and that’s a definite plus. Overall a nice dining experience, plenty of seating, a full bar, smiling efficient servers with incomprehensible English and a part visible clean kitchen. Miss Ping’s occupies prime location next to the cinemas and plenty of parking. they did not, surprisingly have a take away menu card. Perhaps they do not encourage take aways or perhaps they simply can’t be bothered by the take away crowd!

Chicken Pad Thai was awesome - great sweetness. The vibe felt good, lots of natural sunlight. I think the tables are a bit small in general, and the som tam was good without being amazing. Admittedly, I'm not an expert in Thai cuisine, but I was expecting it to taste a bit more fresh and less overpowering with the sauce. Serving sizes were average overall.
Cher
I'm quite disappointed. I love their tom yum fried rice and pineapple fried rice, however I am genuinely appalled at the portion size of my takeaway massaman beef curry. This is not worth $17.90.

Been to this establishment on numerous occasions and it has been quite a surprise. Wasn’t expecting much from Miss Pings as restaurants that open on the cinema level of Doncaster Shopping centre come and go (most restaurants that open are quite average and usually shut down after a year or so).

To start off, the ambience is beautiful. Open space, modern decor, nice booths and a nice view of the city. Every time I have been, it has been quite quiet and service has been on point.

I really do enjoy the food here. Every dish I have ordered has been delicious. Compared to a lot of other Thai restaurants, I’d have to say the food is really good. This place does have a lot of influence from other Asian cuisines, like Chinese and Vietnamese.

Be sure to try the papaya salad. One of my favourite Thai dishes; fresh, crunchy and spicy. And also Chinese broccoli and crispy pork belly!

Definitely a must try and I can’t wait to return back to this place!
Sally Green
Total disappointment. Some dishes had undercooked chicken and until now didn’t know a prawn could be that tough, couldn’t even cut it. A place to avoid. Gave it one star as could not leave blank.
Stevo
The food was delicious here and I would definitely return. We ate a lot of different things on the menu and all were great. We were given a heads up that main dishes weren’t huge so we ordered entree and it filled us up. We felt as though they were trying to kick us out by 9pm but otherwise everything else was great!
Ash Bell
Super delicious food. I had the vegetarian Pad Thai. My friend had the chilli fried rice.
Unfortunately they don't have tea by the cup like most Thai places do. Only by the pot, which is pricier. However great vibe and cool interior.

Also generous serves - take away and eat in.
CCC
I really wanted to love this place. But it was so incredibly noisy inside that we couldn’t even talk. The staff kept forgetting our drinks. The wait times were terrible. We were there 25 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order and then everything took ages. The food was OK but nothing to write home about
Melbourne Food Monkeys
Food quite average compared to the multitude of Thai places across Melbourne. The pad Thai was lacklustre from presentation to taste and the portion of curry was quite small. It felt like a treasure hunt looking for chicken in the pad Thai. The entree (prawns) was not bad.
Service is good and nice atmosphere, but as someone who would prioritises food over ambience, Miss Ping’s scores at most 2-3 stars.
AaronN
This place was quite the surprise. Apart from the massaman, which was a bit too watery for our liking, everything else was top notch. The roti and Tom yum fried rice were really tasty. Great to have good food options at Donnie.

Miss Ping at Doncaster Westfield. Definitely a must try for me. Love the special combination noodle. It was sweet and sour. Love the noodle soup and also the Thai milk tea. It is a hidden gem for me in the Doncaster centre.
HungryPerson
Been here a few times, not the most authentic thai food around but good enough for a quick Thai food fix in the area. The fried omelette could have been fluffier and the Tom Kha was a little too thick (more like a curry). Apart from that, all good :)
HungreeHusband
Friendly staff and ok good, love the apple salad fish! Great delivery on Uber. Happy to have it again when I visit the location.. looking forward to having it again
Just ok. Not sure how this place has such a high rating. I'm a Thai restaurant regular and this place just does not compare to some others I've been to. The roti and peanut sauce entree was very tasty, but when I asked for a little more sauce (the sauce serve was tiny), I was told I had to pay for extra. I thought that was ridiculous and poor service. The Penang curry was way too coconuty - I love a creamy curry, but this was just too much coconut, not much Penang flavour at all - disappointing. The Cashew Chilli Jam stir fry was quite nice, very oily though. Over all, average.

One of my favourites! We come here before we go to the movies and it is just delicious!! Great tasting fresh food. My favourite is the chicken fried rice. They have a great drinks menu!! Quick and friendly service.
Janeihu
They had a good range of dishes on offer, however, a lot of the food is overly sweet and salty. Even the coconut rice was super sweet - to balance with the many chilli dishes they had, i assume. A bit pricey for thai food but nice to dine watching the sun set. The Crying Tiger is not a porterhouse steak at all, as pictured, but a sad thin strip of flattened meat. Consequently, it was overcooked when we requested medium rare.

Can’t recall how many times we shopped at Westfield Doncaster and we are sick of dining in the food court. So we walked up the stairs and checked what’s special on the cinema level..

Then we saw this Thai restaurant.

Yes! Finally made a decision of what to eat.

It was around 6pm..with sunset, this place turned out to be really romantic. But when the sun disappeared.. the whole restaurant was dark like when u are sitting inside a bar..

👍🏻soft shell crab with green papaya salad
👍🏻noodle in soup was nice
👍🏻Pad Thai was great 👍🏻

👎🏻our table was too small to fit all of the above and I had to put the bottle of water on the floor
Connie
I would 100% recommend the barramundi curry!!! It was so delicious and such a great serving size, more than enough for 2 people. It had the perfect amount of spice as well 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I wish the restaurant had better lighting as well
Lorna
Sunny Days Melbourne
What a fantastic place for a meal after a hard day hitting the stores at Westfield Doncaster. If you are lucky enough to sit by the window, you will be able to see the city skyline clearly.
We have been to Miss Ping's a number of times now but she continues to surprise us each time! Today we had the chicken pad Thai (a bit soggy but super tasty!), the Panang chicken (creamy and addictive) and papaya salad (beautifully spiced and well balanced).
Service was fast and pleasant. May I suggest you like, share and subscribe to Miss Ping's!
Demi
I don’t know what it is, but I’m going to call it the curse of the Westfield upper storey “food court” and say Miss Ping’s, like the other restaurants it’s adjacent too, is quite average. I live very close to the shopping centre so I’m familiar with all the food. Really nice and modern setting but mediocre Thai food. I ordered the pad thai and it was overly sweet and *cringing at the word* moist. The noodles were saturated.

Came with my family on a late Sunday afternoon and it was just us and another table - yet really slow service.

Miss Ping’s replaced a doomed (and yes, you guessed it - average) Greek restaurant and is sadly around the same par.
Jackie
Good tasty food and friendly staff.
Funny, the serving staff advised everything would come out together and asked if we were ok with that. We replied yes, absolutely fine.
Then we got 1 dish at a time over a very long period of time and there was no order in this process! Additionally we asked for spoons to dish our meals up as sharing and we never received them.
Anna
The atmosphere is really nice, great view of the city skyline. Wish we were seated by the window as there weren’t many customers, will request that if I return. The food was average for the price. I ordered the Tom yum noodle soup in the large size, and was surprised at how small the large here is. Wasn’t amazed by the taste, just what I expected. The green curry was delicious though, I couldn’t help sneaking a few bites! However, there seemed to be quite a few bugs flying around our table which was a little off-putting. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience :)
Mark
Nice people, great view and fresh food. Vegetarians be cautious. I ordered a Vegetarian dish and it had a fish based oyster sauce on it. I explained to the waiter that Vegetarians don’t eat meat, fish or any animal products. I explained that Pescatarians eat fish but no meat. The menu should not have stated Vegetarian if a dish has animal products in it. I think this is very common problem in Australia, that people think Vegetarians just don’t eat meat. They were very accommodating, friendly and remade my meal without oyster sauce. I would still recommend this establishment despite the fact they are unclear on what Vegetarian means.
Masha
Decent flavors however quite pricey (4 small skewers, 2 pieces of crayfish and a hard boiled egg for $36...) with underwhelming service. Although attentive, floor staff were quite cold and scripted - they did not return a smile which didn’t leave a warm or welcome impression.
Ling Yap
Had the chicken pad thai, fish cakes and crispy chilli calamari. Price is reasonable, view near the window is great as u can see the city skyline. Also you get 5% discount if u pay in cash. Total price comes to $33.90 for two pax.

It’s soooo delicious! Spacious restaurant with friendly staffs. Food come quickly. We ordered Chinese broccoli and crispy pork, Dry Tom Yum with Snapper fillet, Thai fried rice with beef and fried eggs with crab meat, and all of it are so delicious. Will definitely come back to try other food.
Miss Noms
Beautiful view of the city skyline - and really funky booth seats for groups!
The pork belly and thai milk tea crepe - delicious. Will be back
Annabelle Lim
The interior and general aesthetic of the restaurant was quite cute (ie. their powder pink staff uniforms and drinks menus), and there are beautiful views by the window seats.

Food-wise, the Pad Thai was a tad watery. The Sukho noodles were fairly flavoursome. And there is an option to get a ‘small’ or ‘large’ size (at different prices) with most of their noodle soup menu items, which was pretty handy!
The watermelon ‘slushie’ was really refreshing and not too sweet too.
Sarah Anne
Overall, service was prompt and polite. When it came to the food, my partner and I both ordered the same mains (which came before the entrees) and there was a large discrepancy between the two dishes. We both ordered the pad thai, my partners had a nice dark sauce, was hot and plenty of flavour. My noodles were still white, had a large pile of chilli flakes to the side and hardly any flavour besides the fire of the flakes. The chicken satay skewers were nice however we would pass on the duck rice paper rolls next time, barely any duck or flavour.
I’m not sure we would give this place a second try if we hadn’t seen other peoples dishes as we walked out, lots of people had very tasty looking meals.
Alex Chin
The worst food and service ever, would not feed this food to my dog. Ordered some starters and mains, one main comes out first then 2 starters. All terrible, satay chicken sticks that tasted like they had been cooked for 10 hours and just un edible. This is an absolute embarrassment of a restaurant.
Marcel
The food could have been better. I would rather go to Songkla Province and have this dishes rather than have it at Miss Pings. Improve your food quality, really didnt enjoyed it at all.

UPDATED***

This is our second visit. Regardless of the first experience, we gave Pings another chance.

Pings is a 20 minutes drive from home for my partner and I. This is our second time visiting and their dishes laxk many flavours and spices. Prices were on the high end and portions weren’t great either.

We ordered two entrees and two mains to share. Their lychee and peach non alcoholic drinks are extremely tasty!
Adriano Francesco Padula
The food was above average but the service was terrible. There were only 3 other tables in the entire restaurant yet we had to wait 10 minutes to order, even a drink! They brought us crockery and glasses but no water. Had to fetch my own water even after asking them. Once the food arrived it was dumped on the table without a word. Looked as if the waitress (or possibly the manager) wanted to be somewhere else! I just wanted to eat and leave. Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time! I would have given Miss Ping’s no stars if the food wasn’t above average. A very forgettable birthday dinner.
The City Lane
Miss Ping’s is the creation of Singaporean native Winnie Chiang, who is also the brains behind popular Thai eatery Thailander, which has seven locations around Melbourne. Chiang’s aim with Miss Ping’s is to provide accessible Thai food rooted in authentic flavours, with a modern twist, alongside more traditional Thai dishes.
The Fo0die
Note that thefo0die.com rating is a 3.5 but in Zomato's rating system, it is closer to a 3.

Fo0die dined as a guest of Miss Ping’s and as such, the rating does not give any consideration to customer service.

Located inside Westfield Doncaster shopping centre, Miss Ping’s is on the same level as Village cinema. Parking at 6:30pm on a Friday, as one can imagine, was hard to come by but is free when entering the parking after 6pm.
The Official Food Hunters
Had the pleasure of attending an opening event for Miss Ping’s and had a try of some of the dishes. Feel in love with every single meal. Miss ping has every flavour down pat! Love love love the venue as well, and must try their cocktails they’re delicious!
Gastrology
Miss Ping's Thai Eatery is a new addition to the Westfield Doncaster cinema precinct, with the food focusing on modern Thai cuisine. Gastrology recently attended the vibrant launch which started off with cocktails and wonderfully crumbed prawns. We then sampled a selection of other small dishes including Thai salad, fried noodles, chicken fried rice, and satay chicken.
Sumaiya Rizvi
Loved the ambience of this beautiful Miss Ping’s Thai Eatery. We got to taste their charcoal prawns, fried rice, green curry chicken, chicken kebabs in peanut sauce, wok tossed noodles, fish cakes, seafood wontons and many more, going by the variety and flavours. Miss Ping’s moved to the top of my go to Thai food places. I’d recommend this place to family and friends in a heartbeat. Also a plus is their chicken is halal, which is a great advantage to Halal food lovers’.

Full disclosure - we were invited on behalf of The Australia Times - Gourmet News for the launch event.
Good Food Good Mood
What a pleasure to be invited to the Miss Pings launch party. It was an absolutely brilliant event full of beautiful people and fabulous food as well as a fun cooking demonstration by the restaurant owner. The cocktails were also sensational!
I really enjoyed the dishes we sampled which included the green chicken curry with roti bread, fish cakes, satay chicken skewers, prawn twisters and crumbed prawns. The chicken fried rice and the veggie noodles were also very delicious and full of flavour. The curry was aromatic and fragrant and yummy sauce had a good kick of spice. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality and ambiance not to mention it boasts a fabulous location right next to the cinema. I can definitely see this as a pre movie dining hot spot and will definitely be back for more!

I went to this place after movie on a Saturday night. We have ordered 3 drinks and 5 dishes, but we waited for 1hour and nothing was served. We checked the waiter and got the response that the order did not send through “sorry the system didn’t print your order”. It was so bad that during this hour, no one came and checked on us about anything-even had to ask for water.

Awesome lunch menu. Really tasty food (we had a variety of curry, noodles, rice, roti and satay sticks) in generous portions and reasonably priced. Staff were lovely and attentive too. Definitely will be back!

Dinner tonight at this new Thai restaurant before movie. Decoration and service are good but food was not really ok. Firstly, the crying tiger was too salty too much fish sauce. Secondly, the pork satay was too sweet and sticky rice was too hard to eat. The worst dish was prawns with glass noodle they served two big prawns but both under cooked and fishy we can only eat all the glass noodle. Not really satisfied of the food but the service is ok.
Tom Kilikidis
Service was good however the food was extremely average
The mains came out before the entrees which was pretty dissapointing... won't be going back

Newly opened and pleasant. Good Thai food with a good degree of authenticity. Food was delicious but sizes were on the smallish side for the price you pay. Especially appreciate the speed of preparation without sacrificing the authenticity of Thai aroma and flavours. Staff were friendly and had smiles. Restaurant was half full but it was getting slightly noisy but not as bad as some others. If it was full, I would think the noise might become unbearable because there was only minimal soft furnishings. There were a lot of hard surfaces. Please think of installing sound absorption panels on walls and ceilings. I would like to come back. Certainly a refreshing change from all those other cooks who think they can easily whip up Thai food from a jar and serve it then charge you big bucks.

firstly, extremely disappointing that the restaurant advertises serving cocktails but upon ordering actually only have beer and wine. the drinks menu suggests multiple other options however not available.
the service provided by the staff was welcoming and friendly, very attentive and a short wait time for meals coming out. delicious green curry and garb salad.
definitely keen to come back to try some more dishes and also await a few small improvements.

We came for dinner on Friday night. Quite busy. Staff friendly courteous and makes you feel welcome. Food was quick and tasty . For me the sauce in the no. 100 had a little too much salt. Potion sizes small but in keeping with pricing. As in most Thai restaurants they give a fork and spoon and you need to ask for the knife. Green tea served in a cup rather than pot. Overall

Newly opened restaurant on the top level of Shoppingtown. Service was great, really friendly staff. We ordered pad thai and pineapple fried rice. Both dishes quite nice, prawns probably needed more flavour though.
Eating With Ebony
Went in for lunch with a friend. We're greeted with friendly staff and were served quite quickly. I got the Pad see ewe noodles with beef, 4 chicken Spring rolls to share and a pork belly steamed Bao. The food came out very fast as well. It was all delicious except I couldn't really taste any chicken in the spring rolls. But they were still good. Definitely need a good & reasonably priced Thai place in Doncaster.

Great Thai place with affordable prices - the green curry was my fave! Definitely worth a visit and I'm so happy there's a new local Thai restaurant!

New eatery at Westfield Doncaster. Restaurant is located at the top with superb view. Had tom yum gong noodles and fish cakes for lunch. Very delicious. Service was slow mainly because the staffs are still new. Hopefully they will improve in time. Very pram friendly restaurant.
Food Lover
Great food, very tasty! A shame that they seemed disorganized and short staffed so food and drinks came out at different times. They were apologetic for slow service as we left which was lovely. We would still go back and look forward to seeing them improve their service as they grow.
I Love Food
Dined here for dinner last night. Place was busy, only been open 1 week? Booked a table a few days in advance. We decided to share 6 small plates & get a salad also. Food & drink service was very slow but staff friendly & acknowledged the wait. We had thai fish cakes, chicken satay skewers, pork skewers, roti bread, betel leaf, steamed bao with pork belly & larb gai salad. Food was tasty & we were hungry after having to wait so long to get our food. Our fav dishes of the night were fish cakes, chicken satay & roti. I also had the lychee iced tea which was nice & served with lychee fruit. Overall we enjoyed the food even though it was a long wait to get it. Will return to try other food from the menu.

Thank god we finally have some decent Thai food in Doncaster. Had the prawns, crispy pork bao and Thai fried rice and was very happy with all three dishes. Great flavours, great staff and overall great restaurant. Will be back

Was here today after bridge church service 🙌 and morning was complete after having lunch here. Westfield had their own thai festival in my mouth😝
Service was friendly, got the meals mixed up, staff forgot a little request, but hey easily forgiven. First week opening teething 😀 food is DELICIOUS 😋! coconut rice, satay. Somtum pickled crab, no.1 on my list. this place will be here for a long time looks promising, it has something for everyone and desserts are the highlight here, variety and affordable. Just like Thailand, Have them anytime of the day and pocket money prices 👍👌✌
I shouldnt say anymore excellent things bout this places or else there going to be lines and ques to get into this place. But just quietly ill be here every week sipping on mai thais and thai ice teas with stacks of finished dessert. And the view is free. Imagine nye dinner here😀

Was eager to try out a new place at Doncaster. Service was alright, but nothing extraordinary. The glass I was given was dirty and my order was messed up (I explicitly asked for tofu and the waiter emphatically told me I said nothing). The rice was side of rice was dry, crunchy and stale - definitely been sitting under a heat lamp too long. The satay sauce was great and the veggies were fresh and tasty.
