Review White Rabbit - Double Bay

Dante Mariotto
Nice cafe and not as busy as the main spots in Double Bay. Came on a Sunday morning around 9:30 after seeing how busy all the other cafes were. There were 1-2 tables available, so got seated straight away. Lots of people ordering takeaway and standing waiting. The vibes is a bit weird due to the furnishing and use of space, but the food, coffee and service was great. Lots of passing traffic and parking around. Have been before and it was good each time, would recommend.

I was here Saturday mid-morning, so they were pretty busy. Even so, the service was prompt and polite. The coffee was good, and the breakfast burger was amazing. Bacon and eggs, hash brown and BBQ sauce on a roll. Eggs were perfect, the hash brown was super crunchy, and the BBQ sauce was super tangy. Well recommended.

Coffee is ok, service is better. However would be good to know the customers that they have to pay THEIR merchant fees when paying by a credit card. A cup of coffee $5 (expansive for that coffee) plus 8 cents of their merchant fees. Would have been good if they paid for my credit cardā€™s annual fee. I guess I will have to go back to the next door cafe.

We were visiting from Melbourne and the staff waiting tables were so friendly! They made us feel really welcome. Breakfast burger, coffee and fresh juice all gorgeous. Definitely recommend!

A contemporary little cafe busting in the Kiaora place in Double Bay. Youā€™ll find a comfortable spot offering all day breakfast and lunch with Indoor and outdoor dining. We sat alfresco and it was a nice spot to watch the comings and goings in the Kiaora shopping centre. The staff here were excellent, friendly and efficient in their service, checking in regularly.

We just popped in for a quick coffee today. I had an Almond Milk Iced Coffee (pictured) and it was very good. The staff are very friendly and that makes me want to go back to try some of their food! #whiterabbit

After sitting in this place for 30 minutes they have only started to do fresh juices weā€™ve ordered. Maybe Iā€™m wrong and they had to grow ingredients for each glass separately and thatā€™s why it took so long?
I mean, how hard is just to the simplest job in the world, take orders and bring orders?

After all, our food was really good and those bloody juices were also tasty.
Good kitchen and interesting menu, respect to the owners and cooks, but floor staff is the issue...

After my disastrous dining experience I was left with a chipped tooth - after a hard object was found in my passion fruit panacotta granola! To tops things off i was scalded from my coffee( I actually have a burn on a section of my tongue ) - I will not be returning back to white rabbit. The man who served me was rude and very arrogant!! I will not recommending this place even to my worst enemy

Went to visit this cafe this morning to try their specialty passionfruit granola with fruits. It was delicious - as was their coffee! Lots of other great menu options so can't wait to go back and try more. They also have all day brekky and all day lunch which is a big plus!

White Rabbit grabbed our attention when walking through Double Bay this morning. A pleasant looking store and we saw plenty of delicious looking good on the menu. We grabbed one of the outside tables in the sun and made our menu selection. The food here is phenomenal. I chose the granola which came out pretty with a panna cotta in the middle. It was like have two brunch menu items in one. Easily one of the better granola dishes I have tried. KD ordered the summer toast which was all avo and cherry tomatoes with a creamy feta. Coffee was ok and they had lactose free milk too which is a big tick from us.

Sadly the service is what let this place down. Iā€™m going to be direct here... sort out your front end staff or your order placing system. One or the other is broken. To get our great food we had to turn back other food that was sent to our table that wasnā€™t ours on two seperate occasions. Same exact thing happened with coffees ... and when our coffee order did eventually arrive it was with a third latte that we hadnā€™t ordered. Staff seemed to not enjoy placing the order on the tablet so perhaps there lies your problem.

Amazingly despite all the mix ups with food to the table our bill was bang on correct.

My star rating reflects combination of amazing food and average service.
