and the bestest flavour has got to be NY Chunky Choc. You seriously cant beat an ice cream with 3 types of chocolate in it and served up in a home made choc coated waffle cone!!

Good ice cream that is close to the beach. It was perfect for the summers day walk to the pier. Service was very polite and friendly. They did well on a busy day.
I’ve travelled Europe lots and I reckon the gourmet ice cream in those hand made waffle cones is the best. All my visitors want to go there!

The young man that served me overhead of my allergies and got me a chart that showed what was in each ice-cream, gelato etc including those that had gelatine. Thank goodness they use vegetable gelatine.

Was a rather hot day and needed a treat to cool down. The smell of the waffle cones being baked hits you as soon as you walk in. My friend wanted something more refreshing so ordered a few scoops of gelato in a waffle cone. I, on the other hand, headed straight for the gourmet selection of icecreams and ordered 'rock salt caramel' and 'cafe grande' in my waffle cone which the young lady reminded me were both '$1 extra per scoop' happily paid for it as I just love those flavours and don't see them in many shops. It is a cash-only establishment so definitely have some $$ on you.
I will rate the flavours of the ice cream and the gelato a solid 4 however the customer service and friendliness off staff below average. Good tasting ice cream ruined by poor service
Yum! One of the best ice cream shops that I've been to! I went twice in two days - tried lemon sorbet, mango coconut, coconut, cafe grande and macadamia honey - all soo good!
Not sure why this place got some bad reviews. We went in there today and found the service great. It was super busy as well. Highly recommend the Ferraro and New York Chunk on a home made waffle cone. This set me back $7.50, because the New York flavour was from their gourmet range and therefore costs an extra $1 per scoop (it was well worth it though!)
Nice little ice cream shop across the road from the beach. Walking distance to the pier and playground. A good option (possibly the only option) for ice cream in Dromana.

OK ice cream, but what's Danish about it?. I don’t know what’s Danish about this place, aside from the name and decor. Reading some of the older reviews here, it looks like they used to offer some desserts that you’d find in Denmark and nowhere else, but I didn’t see any on the menu board when I visited. It was your standard beach ice cream shop staffed by teenagers. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! I had the coffee and salted caramel flavours, and both were pleasant, not outstanding.
Copenhagen has a large selection of flavours and the ice cream is good quality, not air-filled fluff like Peter’s. (The latter is a staple at most of the foreshore kiosks along Port Phillip Bay.) The most memorable thing about this place is that they make their own waffle cones on a machine up front. I haven’t seen that elsewhere. Way cool! You know you’re always getting a fresh one. The prices for a two-scooper aren’t bad either, considering the quality. If I hadn’t been riding through town on my bicycle, with no backpack to tote things in, I would have bought a packet of their broken cone bits (only $2) to sprinkle on desserts I make at home.
For decent ice cream and waffle cones, they’re pretty good!
It’s also very nice to find a place that still does cash only, I love seeing it. I also love seeing a place that respects the medical privacy of one another.
I literally went last time not because I was craving ice cream but because I wanted to show support to a place with good values.

Absolutely amazing local ice cream place. The service and friendly staff is what makes places like this worth every cent not to mention the amazing aroma once you walk in.

Outstanding Ice-cream. Strong flavours. The richest banana flavoured ice-cream I've encountered. The gourmet vanilla bean was up there too. The coffee flavour - superb!! The range is incredible. We were not in the area long enough to even begin to sample all of the flavours. There was another joint up the road that always had a ten mile long cue with a negative vibe permeating the lingering crowd. At Copenhagen we got served nice and quickly. Now I've gotta work off these extra calories :)

Aside from the awesome ice cream and fantastic home made waffle cones, all businesses should follow the morals and inclusivity of this place.
At a time of such divisiveness and medical segregation, this place has managed to stand strong despite all the threats and coercion and vowed to include any and all people into their business.
It’s a shame to see such negative comments. All I see is a business that is standing up for their staff and customers by protecting their medical information.
They don’t care about health? I saw a customer smoking too close to the shop door and a staff member politely asked them to move away.
Well done, if only all businesses could take this stance for the people.
