Needed a pho fix so decided to give this restaurant a go. Beef and meatball pho: had a good portion of meat but the soup base's flavour could have developed more. The crispy chicken on tomato rice was a bit on the dry side and not enjoyable. The saving grace was the Vietnamese coffee.
Don't let some of the older reviews put you off - this is a fantastic, underrated Vietnamese place. Deep and flavourful pho but the star of the show is the pork chop chop fried rice - generous and delicious.
Friendly owner who provides great customer service. Crispy chicken was delicious, good amount of flavour and not dry at all.
Ok if you need a Viet fix but not great. Spring roles were a bit disappointing. Pork Vermacilli was ok but meat a bit dry and portions not big. Pho was ok, plenty of meat but lacking in noodles.
Food is not fresh. I've definitely had better Pho. My meal left me wondering if the Chef was able to cook Vietnamese cuisine. I wouldnt be surprised if a microwave was used to heat up the food. The seafood in my soup was most likely frozen and i was too scared to it it. Overpriced for what it is to
Went here tonight for a family dinner. Had a few patrons there for a small restaurant.
We ordered beef pho it was ok just not balanced enough for me but lots of meat which was silky and tasty.
Then we had spring rolls which were good.
We also had salt and pepper squid with rice which was deliciou
Been coming here for years, have noticed a slow deterioration in quality. This week was very disappointed, had chicken skewers, they were old ( threw them out) and the beef and lemongrass had no flavour whatsoever. Its a shame.
Nice and Cosy place, had a pho with beef and beef meatballs, really nice and subttle flavours, also a large portion, fairly priced, highly recommend this little hidden gem.
