Location and view are fabulous. Service and staff excellent. Ambience tops. Food served either as a 2 or 3 course set meal with something for everyone. Portions are good sized. Come here for a special occasion as prices reflect this. 4 stars!

Absolutely excellent! We went for lunch yesterday for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved it. The service is excellent, the food absolutely delicious and the wine and drinks list was fantastic. We loved how some of the by the glass wines were offered by Coravin and the glassware was Riedel.
What a delightful find this was. You'd be hard pressed to find more friendly and attentive, yet totally unobtrusive service anywhere than you'll find at Merne.
We dined as a three (two adults and a toddler) on a Saturday afternoon, lucky to get a late booking.
