Wow!! Couldn’t rate this place highly enough
Had the four courses and a bottle of wine and they catered to my dietary requirements! Every single meal we cleaned the plates it was incredible

Our visit to Merne was exceptional. The service the view the food all that made our experience good. The oyster, the trout and the pork were amazing. A must for all food and wine lovers.

I love to sit back with good company, wine and food. At Merne we had excellent service, share plates that were different and very tasty and a view. The menu has variety, and each dish had amazing sauces. We had a long lunch; plenty of time to chat and enjoy. No rushing here!!!!

Our visit to Merne was long overdue. The food was exceptional. I loved the Ling, Pork and ohh the Kangaroo was amazing! It was so nice to enjoy a long relaxed dinner! Wines were great! Calob is exceptional at his job! Always feel I can trust his recommendations. Great service, great food and wines with a beautiful view! I think we are very lucky to have Merne in our local area!

What a beautiful setting for a delicious lunch. We had the 2 course menu, and shared a dessert because we were too full but wanted to try one!! Excellent service and delicious fresh flavours. Highly recommended.

We had a stunning rainy day lunch at Merne. The menu is fantastic value and very generous and each dish was truly delicious, my favourite was the smoked swordfish with fennel, apple, turnip and finger lime. They were accommodating of our dietary needs and the setting was just beautiful. Would be a lovely spot for a wedding.
We are so happy we chose Merne as our wedding venue! We had both the ceremony and reception at Merne, and it flowed so well. Sharon and Caleb are so accommodating and made the entire process so seemless for us. The day before the wedding we dropped a box of things to Merne and didn't have to stress on our wedding day as everything was set up perfectly when we arrived on the day. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect for our special day. Thank-you to Sharon and Caleb, and your wonderful staff, for absolutely everything! Highly recommend!

We've had a few special occasion lunches at Merne, and have finally been able to experience a dinner here. It was spectacular service, food and drinks.
Location and view are fabulous. Service and staff excellent. Ambience tops. Food served either as a 2 or 3 course set meal with something for everyone. Portions are good sized. Come here for a special occasion as prices reflect this. 4 stars!

Absolutely excellent! We went for lunch yesterday for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved it. The service is excellent, the food absolutely delicious and the wine and drinks list was fantastic. We loved how some of the by the glass wines were offered by Coravin and the glassware was Riedel. We opted for the 2-course menu and added on dessert which took 3 hours to get through, therefore make sure you set aside enough time to fully enjoy the experience and all the deliciousness they offer at Merne.

What a delightful find this was. You'd be hard pressed to find more friendly and attentive, yet totally unobtrusive service anywhere than you'll find at Merne.
We dined as a three (two adults and a toddler) on a Saturday afternoon, lucky to get a late booking.
The food was all lovely, starting with delightful olives and featuring lots of local ingredients. The menu is a banquet/tasting menu style and we were so full by the end we were offered our dessert takeaway which we enjoyed in the evening.
The setting is beautiful and has stunning views. There were probably about 30 diners in our sitting which meant it had a good atmosphere without being too busy.
The thing we spoke about afterwards was how well the front of house team worked. It seemed like they were always stopping for a chat (short or long) with one of the various tables and were never short of time to chat about the food, the wine, the property or life in general, yet with the number of people and the number of dishes coming from the kitchen they didn't miss a beat.
Overall a faultless experience and the chat with Caleb afterwards reaffirmed that this is a business that you'd be lucky to experience and would also love to support.
