Review Tilly's Restaurant And Bar - Dubbo

Our experience started well. Quite a lot of options on the menu. The salt and pepper prawns were well cooked but lacked flavour. The brisket croquettes were the same ie. lacking flavour but was saved by the aioli. Then it went down hill from there. We had not quite finished our entrees and the mains arrived. We sent them away saying that there should be some time between courses and saying that we didn’t just want them kept under lights as we didn’t want them half cold. Well guess what? The vegetables were stone cold and the chips were half cold. Thankfully the chicken and fish was fairly hot and not dried out. Mentioned this to the waiter who just said “ I’ll let the chef know “. There are so many great restaurants in Dubbo so don’t waste your time going here.

Garlic prawns were sloppy and flavourless. Steak was good. Chicken parma okay but could have done with more sauce. Service acceptable.

Good atmosphere and very friendly, but food average for top class dining. Veggies over done and salmon still had some scales.
