Holy � that Burger was good! I truly hope they can keep up that standard cos after my experience today, they well and truly have the title of Best Burgers in Town!!
Perfect Milk Buns, light and fluffy on the inside but crisp and springy on the outside!
Patties were amazing, so moist and perfectly cooked, and the meat just melts in your mouth.

Awesome food, great prices, great atmosphere, the playground for the kids is awesome and the staff are great. Would recommend to anyone i know that is going to Dubbo.
Held a very successful 80th luncheon in the upstairs function room, couldn't be happier with the help from Lee Green for the organization in the months leading up, the food and service on the day was amazing - Highly recommend!

We came to Dubbo for the night from Junee, I messaged my cousin who lives in Dubbo and asked wheres the best place to get a good feed, he recommended South Dubbo Tavern telling me about the $10 specials....both me and my mrs was very happy with our $10 shnitty, well above my expectations for $10. Money well spent and would definitely go back and highly recommended to anyone looking for a good feed :) thanks South Dubbo Tavern for the great food :)
Had a terrific day & night at the SDT huge meals,cold beer and excellent entertainment and I meant the publican and he couldn't be more helpful in everything I asked. 10 out 10 and I'll be going back again. I didn't know how big the place actually was with all its function rooms. Thanks for a great time.

Tasty food, friendly atmosphere. The live music was fabulous and the staff were hospitable. There is a small playground for little kids which is fenced off. 5 Stars!
Would highly recommend, the food was wonderful. I had grilled Barramundi and my husband had Prawn Linguine. Will definitely come back if we are this way again. Thank you for the great service as well.
Good food, nice environment, next time I am in Dubbo would go back here. Steak was a little chewy and overcooked but its a pub steak, what can you do. The chicken wings were good and were the ribs, chips were crispy and yummy.
Bloody brilliant. I got the squid and considering how far they are from any ocean it tasted so fresh. And the peaking duck was also amazing. My partner had the schnitty with the mushroom sauce. Only complaint was not enough sauce it was amazing! And the outdoor area at the front is pet friendly for well behaved pups

Everyone I come to Dubbo for work this the one place I look forward to. I recently came back to this place after 3 years due to Covid and looks like renovations were done at that time.
Looks amazing and the food is still amazing.
Good sized portions, speedy service, reasonably priced and very friendly staff who were more than accommodating.
Definitely coming back when I next come into town.
The best pub meal I have had in a long time. Rump was seasoned amazingly and cooked to perfection, the mash and sauce were delicious and veges steamed spot on. Could not have asked for a better meal. The price was way less than I'd expect to pay. So impressed!!
The service was also incredible. The lovely lady behind the bar was incredibly friendly and it was obvious she loved her job and the establishment. She's an absolute credit to The Commercial. All in all a fantastic experience. Know my regular stop now when I'm in town.
