Review The Outlook Cafe Dubbo - Dubbo

Red Star
Great coffee and menu. The spiced mushrooms are amazing and this is literally the first cafe I’ve been to in my life where it’s worth ordering a fresh juice - you get a proper juice with a proper portion, not a tall glass that has three sips worth of juice like everywhere else.

New decor is lovely & the menu seems exciting but the execution is poor. All 3 meals came out with several minutes gap between them. The melt was served on a slice of white bread. The Caesar salad looked like rabbit food and was insufficient to feed an adult or for the price. It wasnt appealing and was left unfinished, although the dressing (ordered on the side) was nice. The pasta was super tasty but came with only one and a half cherry tomatoes and was also insufficient for the price and for satiation. The staff were lovely and efficient and the meals began to come out as soon as we had ordered. The fresh juices met expectations although the ginger couldn't be detected. It was disappointing, I hope things improve, it's usually a lovely place to visit.

Fantastic job guys. Had the le grand benedict $16.95 with smoked salmon and an iced mocha $6. A mate had the same with smoked ham and a spiced pumpkin latte $4. Unfortunately one of the eggs was cooked through and i informed the staff, in which they happily took care of. Lots of salmon and ham! The drinks were fabulous! Cant wait to come again.

Loved my recently served beaker aesthetic, mango shake - had in house. Not into there being a 10% surcharge on weekends and Public Holidays... Most expensive coffee in Dubbo. Numerous times I have seen - wrong orders, wait times for orders and the proportions of food to value, all questionable. Best wishes to this business in 2021.

The food was first class and prices were very reasonable for such amazing meals. The 8 of us has a great lunch with wine and beer. We will be back regularly for our meetings. The hidden gem of dubbo

Very slow service around 40 min and coffee came after meal.. One breakfast was very good and one very ordinary. Location and gallery are great.

It is accessible, great for morning or afternoon tea if on the expensive side. Not a big choice for lunch if you like normal food. Can just take your time and then wander through the gallery.
