Maybe it was extreme hunger, or maybe it was the fact that I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants in my time, but this one had some amazingly delicious food! Sure, the decor is drab and leaves a bit to be desired, but whatever is lacking in the furniture and cosmetic appearance of the place is made up for with the food and then some! In conclusion, don’t miss the Golden Dragon!

Will never return again . Arrived for a sit down meal at 6.15 and received our entree at 7.15 and the the main meals arrived 1 at a time at about 15 minute intervals. And there were 5 of us. . Other people were coming in and being served there meals before our meals. Definitely not going back. Service is absolutely shocking

Enjoyable, but we did not like the satay beef. it tasted more like pepper beef. In my experience, Satay tastes more with nuts, not pepper or whatever it was. It was so hot / spicy.
We will not go for that type of Banquet again, and keep the flour out of our meal.

Had san choi bao entree. Chicken satay and Singapore noodles. The San choi bow came with a large plate of filling and 4 full lettuce leaves. A meal on its own. Just a bit to much celery. The satay chicken was another large plate but it tasted fishy and the satay sauce was very gluggy.
The singapore noodles were very nice but also had a lot of celery. It is only byo, no alcohol at all. We would not go back again.

Don't bother if you're a traveller wanting a delivery. Most unhelpful staff who just couldn't be bothered.
Go somewhere else.

Loved the food. My wife has Lemon Chicken and special Fried Rice and I had the BBQ Chinese Pork. Both were excellent.
Very generous servings. So much so we had no room left for the Deep Fried Ice cream. Next time.

The takeaway food we got from the Golden Dragon was succulent. Have tried a few Chinese places around Dubbo, but this one is a strong contender for the best! The service was also second to none - very friendly staff. Big plus!
